Horrible service. This was a desolate place in the middle of the road. The ordering process is odd, you basically stand in front of a window that will randomly open with a mediocre employee.They take forever to serve the shaved ice and I found the flavors to be incredibly sweet.Not recommended.

The absolute worst experience ever! One person in line in front of me. 29 minutes after I was already annoyed about the time it was taking, we finally 'just paid for our ice cream'. 37 minutes later we received. Sooooo, not worth it! And the employee could not have cared less!!!

I really do hate to do this as we do frequent this location, and talking with the "owner" after calling x2. I stopped by this location tonight, unfortunately 10 minutes before closing, open sign was still on, celebrating an eagles win. I stood at the window for 5 minutes, watching employees inside walk by the window laughing, my youngest even tried knocking on the window.I completely understand i was cutting it close, and thats why i do hate leaving a review of this sort, but lets be honest here your hours are until 8pm... the owner would like to make it up to me, i am not one for free handouts, i will gladly pay for my food. I manage a shop that does relay on customers. If i am open until a certain time, my doors stay open regardless of customers. I am unfortunately going to give this location a 2 star review over their customer service. I do hope they look into customer interaction moving forward. It was a real shame.

This is the place to be on a hot day when your trying to cool down on a budget. We go at least weekly. The kids here work hard, a lot of them this is their first work experience, so swing by and grab a treat, but don't forget to tip!!

Love this place! The employees are always so kind and attentive! Not to mention the snowballs are delicious!! If you’re in the area, don’t drive past Pelicans, treat your palate!!

This is the first google review I’ve ever posted but I feel compelled. I visit Pelican’s other locations frequently, but am just stopping through so I’ve never been to this one. She over charged me for adding cream, telling me it was a dollar when it is supposed to be 50 cents. Then put so much syrup on the ice it was inedible. When I took it up to the window to tell her it was way too syrupy and I couldn’t eat it she just said “Oh OK”. This is bottom tier Pelicans.

These are the best snowballs I've ever eaten. They don't get watered down and lose their flavor. Full of juice all the way to the last bite! Also great prices. Probably going today to get in one more visit before they close for winter. 😋

Everything about this place is great. Quick to take your order, and get it out. The atmosphere is so fun and summery. The flavors are insane. I live getting mine w cream and I love that you can get icecream w it as well. Love taking my out of town here.

The shaved ice is great, cheap, and perfect for a warm day. Downside is they are typically slower on the service end. I feel like there are changes in how they operate to get the speed better just not flushed out well. Hope they work that out and continue to stay around.

We were so impressed with the flavor choices!! The ice is nothing like a snow cone. This is like the softest snow!! I highly recommend getting the sour spray, if you enjoy sweet and sour/tart flavor!

I like a good snowcone. Pelican's is pretty great. I got a kiddie sized one and I almost couldn't finish it, so no problem with portion size. My only issue is syrup amount. Never consistent. Either way too much or not enough.

I'm glad they are in the Statesville area now! Great place for a cheap, but delicious, snow cones. They offer plenty of options! It can be relatively crowded, so expect to spend at least 10 minutes in line when they're busy.

As time have past they either watered down their syurp or switched brands.Because it just doesn't have the same taste. Don't get me wrong it's still good just not as great. Oh and parking sucks, when it's a crowd and so does the wait. I waited almost 30 mins one time.

Fantastic place I'm so glad 😁 there's finally something else here besides Dairy Queen!!! I moved here from Central New York 2 years ago and was disappointed that there's not a Soft Ice Cream stand on on every block

First you need to clean the place up.. next maybe a little paint.. if the outside looks bad what does the inside looks like .. maybe they have 100s on their grades but can't see me getting my kids snowballs here .. sorry
