I was wondering through the store looking for something and one of the workers started following me and then showed me the item. She then hovered until a picked out the item, then took me immediately to the checkout. It was like she thought I was going to steal something. She also charged me twice for the item. I didn't realize til I got home, I'm not going to even bother going back in that store.

I'm so in love with this little store! They have a great selection of gardening, canning, and home things. They have a little of everything and the staff are so down home friendly and easy to talk to. They're also super helpful. Definitely worth a stop if you are hunting any canning, gardening, or lawn care stuff. My little plants I picked up are doing great!

Great home town store. I believe they have everything. You can even buy bags of nails… pet food, cast iron, clothes and boots. Big knife selection to 20 ton jacks. Come check this place out!!!

This is the first time that I have been to this Hardware Store. I was able to take my dog inside with me. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to both me and my dog. This store is easy to see from the road. It has a nice parking lot. I would recommend this store for anyone looking for what ever you may want

This is a fantastic hardware store....it's not a big box store and the owners are there everyday running the place. They carry serious work clothes and boots and have excellent prices. I guarantee you won't save enough to make the effort looking around. Best place I've ever found for Red Wing boots and Carhartt. Go see Mark.... he'll treat you like family.

Love this place. They have an awesome staff, they are very friendly. I get ALL of my fur babies (dog) supplies here, they recommended their Victor dog food to me when my rescued baby was losing his hair, he apparently was allergic to something in the first food I was feeding him. I took him with me to show the man that helped me (Can't remember his name) and he was very informative and knew EXACTLY what he was talking about, because since being on their brand of dog food (Victor) my dog has gained so much weight, he isn't missing anymore hair, and he is so happy and healthy, and spoiled lol. I get ALL of his supplies here because they are very helpful and will be honest. I'm so glad I went there, my dog is very well taken care of.... thanks to these people! I just love this place! I rescued him just before he was starved to death. The vet said he probably wouldn't have made it another day with the previous owners because they sat him out and abandoned him. He was skin and bones, and very weak. But thanks to fort Dobbs hardware, (and his vet) .... he's a big healthy boy now and I'm so blessed to have him.. so glad I found him just in time. And so glad I went to Fort Dobbs hardware looking for help and answers I was so lost with (he's my first rescue) and they just helped me so much, I'm so grateful to these people because they know exactly what they are talking about. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are amazing and they have a wide variety of different things they sell. They also have the nicest boots, and clothing I've found in this area. Thank you all for ALL of your help and hard work, at Fort Dobbs hardware. I'll be back soon... time for some more of that Victor dog food my big boy just loves. Oh and it's so nutritious too.... nothing but the best ingredients in that stuff!!!

Showed up at 5:50 looking for a particular boot, they treated me great! The lady sized my feet and we found a size that worked. They even threw in a bottle of boot Polish! Awsome people! I will be doing business with them from now on.

The guy was really nice and respectful. He helped me make a good decision on my boots by suggesting two different boots just to have a comparison. Also helped me get my shoe sizes. Really good service.

Very helpful and have almost anything you could be looking for from hardware, to winter wear, to ranch wear, to rodeo wear they have it all. They also have lots of gifts for women and men. Lots of kitchen supplies. Lots of carhart. Decent stock of case knives. They even have canning supplies and pressure cooker parts which are hard to find. Can order almost anything they don't have in stock.

Had my first experience here today and this place is awesome! I got exactly what we needed to ride Hurricane Florence out at a fair price and I'll definitely be back again. They have a little bit of everything here. Cool place for sure.

The gentleman helping me was AMAZING. I had been to 3 other places who acted like I had grown an extra head. He looked at what I needed and spent 15 minutes piecing together a solution! Fantastic!!!!

Lived in Statesville for over 50 years first time a life and I visited fort Dodge hardware was today. We were quite impressed by the wide selection of items they had to offer all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be returning on a regular basis.

I went to Ft Dobbs Hardware to do some Xmas shopping. I was really surprised. They have a great selection of gift items as well any hardware item, tool, gardening item you might need. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also carry Yeti products.
