I LOVE DQ but this was unacceptable. We ordered a 4pc bbq tender box and the chicken was completely RAW. We waited for our food for about 10 minutes which is fine because I love fresh hot food so I wasn’t expecting one of our meals to be raw. This could make us it somebody else sick. Please make sure you’re always fully cooking your chicken.

Amazing food, amazing people, I hate I forget this place exists. The fries were crispy instead of floppy like other places, the milk shake is to die for, and the burger the bun smells like fresh bread soft, perfect amount of ketchup to mustard ratiothe pickles are there all over instead of to the side or just the center. It's all around amazing.

This was the worst DQ I've ever gone to the drive-thru... The ice cream was horrible it tasted like instant mashed potatoes and the people behind the counter didn't care about what they were doing The ice cream cone was handed to me already melting and all over the place. If the owners really cared about the quality of their food they would hire better people.

Poor service, took nearly 10 minutes to make one thing. I was told that what I ordered wasn’t available because the ice cream was soupy? Not sure why considering it’s an ice cream place or an eating establishment in general. Also the sanitation rate was 93.5. I know it’s Statesville and the Dairy Queen has aged but it shouldn’t be open if it’s this difficult to get an icecream.

The drive thru was very busy and I understand that times are hard and places are short staffed but the drive thru person was very rude, I stopped at the speaker and no one answered so I headed towards the window and the man gave me a total and I said no one answered the speaker so I came here and he rudely said “why” and then proceeded to tell me to wait and then said yea your gonna have to go back around. I work fast food I just don’t see why it was so hard just to take my order at the window …. Learn better customer service

If I could give zero stars I would.. 8:00pm and they already had the doors locked but it says online and on their listed hours that they close at 9pm people were inside eating but the manager told them they closed at 8:30 and that they had to leave(the people told me when they exited) so the manager unlocked the door and let them out and locked the door behind them. BOTH open signs still lit saying they are opened so pulled up to the drive thru menu and was told they were closed. I told them their hours list them as open until 9pm and their open signs were still lit so someone went and turned off ONE of the two open signs, flipped me the bird and walked away! Super RUDE!

Why does this store have only one sofr serve machine that works and so they pre dispense the soft serve for sundaes and banana splits etc and put in a freezer until you order and then they put on the toppings. When you get it - its frozen rock hard and yellow and has turned from soft serve to some other form of something. I got this before and couldn't figure it out until today when I tried again in a lapse of judgement. I wonder how long that frozen substance haf been pre dispensed in a freezer? Please run this place competently or close it down..Please.

If I could do no stars I would the server Tamashia at the drive thru was too busy with her conversation with another employee to really pay any attention to us as the customer and when she did she rushed us thru our ordering and then was very rude and had a major adtude when I asked her to confirm that what she had on the screen was infact what we had ordered witch was correct but when we did finally get our order she basically thru it out the window at us and slammed it closed. And make things even worse the order wasn't even right. I don't know who is hiring these people but from the looks of the rest of your feedbacks drastic changes should be made fast

They were understaffed however the 2 gals were working real hard and they deserve acknowledgement nice job ladies. The soft serve ice cream however was not creamy and almost a ball of ice. I usually love DQ soft serve this one missed it for me however. If not for the 2 ladies working so hard I would have given it a 2 star.

Right off the bat at the drive thru speaker there was rude service. Ordered the bbq tossed tender basket and the new Rotisserie chicken and the receipt said it and we ordered ranch for both so in total there were 5 ranches on the receipt. We only received 4 and they argued with us. I mean they charge extra for sauce so we wanted what we paid for. Then the chicken tenders weren’t tossed in the bbq sauce and she acted like that was wrong and we didn’t order it and it was on the receipt. Her excuse was she can’t see the screen and that she didn’t hear us say we wanted it tossed. Okay if you didn’t hear it why punch in the tossed bbq on the screen. Overall I feel like the service was horrible. There was a family waiting and literally sat down because nobody was helping them. Mind you one of the ladies was on her phone across the counter not assisting the customers. And now we started eating and all the ranches are old and has chunks and it’s like gelatin. Gross! Don’t eat here.

This is quite possibly one of the worst experiences I've had. It's not just one occasion. There have been multiple occasions over multiple years. The service is terrible and the staff are rarely friendly. IF things are working you wait forever. I'm not impatient or one who has one bad experience and becomes a vicious vigilante with a keyboard. But the Statesville Dairy Queen is awful. Its sad because there aren't many options here so it has the potential to be great. The other day was the last straw and we will not be returning. It was going to be a 20 to 30 minute wait for ice cream at the ice cream place? We will drive 10 extra minutes out of town to receive better service from employees that are happy to be working.

Came here after dinner at 8:45. 15 minutes before close and were told "sorry were closed".. after they took the order from the car in front of us..what?? When we stated that we just wanted one blizzard and that was it. Than they turned off their drive-thru lights on us. Horrible customer service.Tried again yet today. November 3rd at 8 pm and the open sign is on yet no one there. Absolute joke. Won't be trying this store again.

The customer serviceat this location is horrible. They have such horrible attitudes. If you are a manager at this location your team really needs to be trained on customer service. Good customer service is a big deal and if it bothers anyone to answer simple questions or provide quality products you should really look for another job. I'm never rude actually very polite when I come to this location. No matter how nice and courteous I am I still get attitude. Team leaders and management please, this is not a good look for business. :/

Took my elderly handicapped mother in this store this evening. She sat down and then we were rudely greeted by a girl who worked there. She said NO NUH UH THE GATE IS CLOSED FOR A REASON!!!!!! We said excuse me, we walked in through the door? She was very rude and literally walked us out and locked the door behind us. I dont know who owns and manages this store but you need to get it together and manage your rude staff. The rudest worker weve ever encountered.

I have frequented this Dairy Queen on several occasions. The service was acceptable but nothing to remark about. However, the last time I visited on a weekday around 4 pm it was horrible!! 18 minutes at the drive thru. I was the third car in line and there were 10 cars behind me. It looked like someone was getting off their shift, and then apparently there wasn't any help inside. There was absolutely no movement in the store, and no one answered at the speaker. After 18 minutes, someone took an order of the first car at the speaker, and things moved somewhat normally -- which is still not very fast. The person at the speaker was rude as I have ever experienced. The order was given to me dripping and melting off the cone. with one napkin wrapped around the cone. I asked for additional napkins, as the one I was given was already soaked with melted ice cream. If I could give zero stars I would. Shameful. Their management needs to step up because this is unacceptable.

We ate here today. Got the $6 deal a double cheeseburger fries coke and a sundae. It was really good. Service was great also. I've never had anything but a blizzard from dairy queen but that burger was so good. We'll definitely be back!
