The employees were very helpful & friendly. The salesman I had, Stan, was very polite, listened to what I wanted and picked the perfect rv for me. I asked to look at several I saw online and he was more than happy to show them to me. In the end I purchased the one he picked for me.The finance department was great. I told them where I wanted my payment to be and they hit it on the nose. Iman was very patient with me asking questions and answered everything I asked.They made sure I knew what everything did on the camper. Don explained things very well and answered all my questions even the dumb ones!If I could rate them higher than a 5 star I would!!!

Working with the team at Camping World of Statesville was excellent. We’ve been looking at campers for 2 years. When we met Brady he did things differently. First he determined what most important to us individually for our camping trips. Then he narrowed down floor plans & RV features to meet those needs Before we ever set out to ‘look’, so it wasn’t just another overwhelming ‘lookey-lue’ day on another camper lot.We found an RV that after teaming up with Brady & the Sales manager, they were able to transport from an out-of-state lot. Brady was actively communicating with us, even on his days off to get this complete for us.Iman, the finance guy was easy and friendly to work with as well. Paperwork was easy, he explained the details well. And, Andrew took the time & patience to answer our many questions at the walk-through.We recommend the team at Camping World of Statesville! In our search for the right RV we decided to take drive to Statesville for narrow down our search since they have an array of RV’s to select from. We were greeted by the receptionists sitting right at the automatic doors and greeted with a smile. After a short wait (salespersons were with other customers), we were approached by Tony the parts specialist who advised us that he was going to be our “tour guide”. And boy are we glad he was, he shared with us the pros and cons of owning a RV, walked us through each one we wanted to see & pointed out the difference between each one. He was thorough and had the greatest personality but also was honest when he didn’t have the answers. He then introduced us to Issac who was just as amazing and actually was a salesperson & made us feel even more at ease! He wasn’t pushy but shown interest in what our desires was and our end goal! He took his time showing us what he thought would meet our needs over what we came for! Which left us feeling more confident in our purchase of a RV!Awesome and Amazing group of people at Camping World in Salisbury NC

In December 0f ’23 I bought a brand new 18’ Coleman Trailer at Camping World of Statesville NC. With a 400W solar, 2000Watt inverter and multiple batteries package. (Big, expensive stuff)Doing the obligatory post-purchase walk-through, the person doing it with me, by his own admission told me he knew nothing about the trailer, didn’t even know where the coax connector in the ceiling went to. (What?!)The walk-through only exposed that the electric tongue jack was faulty. So I waited until they changed it out and finally drove away. Immediately I realized the trailer brakes did not work, taking it back they “adjusted” them, and, seeing it made no difference, my salesman, Cody, told me they would adjust (fix) themselves after driving. I was driving home to Florida, and after 500plus miles, yep, the brakes still did NOT work. (so, WHO checked out this trailer before selling it?)So, I arrive back home in Florida, with a very complex solar/inverter system, that I know NOTHING about or its function, knowing absolutely nothing about the trailer, and pulling a trailer without any brakes. (nightmare?)So I contact Marcus’ office, you know, the CEO of Camping World that’s “Not happy unless YOU are happy”There I’m told to take it to Camping World of Fort Pierce, Florida for repair, where the current nightmare just increases 10 fold!! (THAT review forthcoming)PS. The extensive wiring that was done for the solar, etc. was a complex, confusing, spiderweb of wiring that was dangerously hanging below the trailer just 6 inches from the ground.Part 2:When buying the trailer (in December '23) I asked about my title (since I paid cash) and was told I'd get it in 2 to 3 weeks.So I wait... and wait... and wait- 3 months later ( March '24) I call to ask about my title, a very nice lady put me on hold for a bit then says: "Okay the paperwork is now done, you'll be receiving it in 2 to 3 weeks". HUH?I told her, 3 months ago it WAS 2 to 3 weeks.A couple of friends told me I was crazy for buying there, I now understand. Xavier

CW Statesville, NC, is a great team. Ashley is so nice and very helpful scheduling Also, prompt to respond! This Camping World is very well stocked. Unlike many Camping Worlds, their service department really seems to have their act together! Often overlooked, but service reputation is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing an RV.

I had the most incredible experience here! Thank you so much to Stan Smith!! he was the best and when I got the call back saying we got the camper my daughter and I were so excited! Thank you Don for walking me through my camper and showing me everything I need to know and to Iman with the best warranties and the wonderful young lady in the front who walked with me and my stepdad to show me what I needed she was very knowledgeable about what you may need for your camper without any pressure. Horrific customer service! After waiting a while for the salesman we were assigned to(young guy, dark hair), He showed up and led us to his office and asked us a whole bunch of questions including if we were prepared to make the purchase today. We told him no. We never buy anything as soon as we see it. We told him that we would do our due diligence and come back to make the purchase. He even asked us how he can tailor his presentation to us so that we might consider buying today! I am not there to help you get a sale buddy. I'm there to look at the product you have available. So I told him, "If you have what we want and are helpful, we will buy from you. But not today." Once we said that, he said ok, wait here, I'm going to use the bathroom and then we can go look at a few. He said it would be 5 minutes or so. Then we saw him slowly walking around the offices, not going to the bathroom, and we asked the ladies up front for a saleperson that was prepared to show us some travel trailers. The ladies up front were excellent and one of them wrangled up another saleperson for us. He was one of the "big guys" she said and would help us right away. At first, he tried to pass us off to the first guy, then we asked him if he could take us out on the lot. He wasn't happy about it. He rushed us through two or three models with a gruff artitude and said that was all he had. And we left. We drove from VA to Statesville, NC and saw a couple of trailers that did not come close to what we asked to see. We couldn't believe the horrible treatment. We can only imagine what the customer service would be like once we purchased a travel trailer from them. No way!Even the follow up email came from a girl named Breanna, but was signed with his name. So he didn't even take the time to do that. This was our third Camping World. The others were not as bad with customer service. We are preparing to purchase a high dollar, quality RV. For us this is a major purchase and we want to be sure we are getting all the information before buying. We got zero info here. We went to Camper's Inn in Mocksville and got excellent service and will likely buy from them. Arrogant jerks who don't want to work, and who have forgotten who puts the food on their table, do not deserve our business. RUN from this establishment!

We bought our used toy hauler in August and had to bring it in after 1 use at the beginning of September for a few repairs that were covered under warranty. Four months later, we got our camper back. We were told all problems had been fixed and and all water had been drained. WRONG! They returned it to us with more problems than they had fixed. This included frozen pipes they said had been drained. Broken slide wheels on the shower door. A full water heater and grey tanks we had been told were drained. Thank God my husband is thorough & mechanically inclined because our camper investment has turned into a money pit because of the lies told to us by this service department. We will avoid using them at all costs. There is more, but this should be enough.

They are not standing by their product the very first time We used the RV After purchase there was a water link under the sink there was a water leak in the toilet leaking out onto the floor.... And the toilet very slowly just continued to fill with water until it overflowed. We've been talking with them 42 weeks now no one will help with anything. And since we couldn't tell that there was water leaking under the sink for quite some time we're sure that it has ruined the floor since it is..... I feel as though they should give us another unit Definitely not Standing by there product and the unit was bought brand new! Horrible just unbelievable.

My wife and I had an impromptu urge to go check out some campers. We arrived, got checked in were offered free hotdogs and then met with a well informed sales person, Brady H. Brady stuck with us showing us multiple models for quite a while, never rushing us. Heck, we weren't going with the intent of buying, what sold us was the expert care and attention from the sales team. Cody(Sp?) The sales manager was around to help with any additional questions or advice as well. We ended up leaving after purchasing a fantastic camper that was recommended by Brady after figuring out what all we liked from models we had looked at. 5 star service and a heck of a deal with pretty awesome perks. The worst customer service that I have seen!!! I have not had my camper for a year and we haven’t had anything but problems! Every item that we have purchased from there has either been no good or didn’t last long. When you go in there and inquire about a problem they are so rude and don’t act like they want to help in any way! I will never go back to the camping world in Statesville if I can avoid it. Definitely take your business elsewhere because you will only find inexperienced and rude individuals! You have been warned the people do not care that they sale items with faulty equipment or faulty items period!
