They were absolutely phenomenal! I had worries as my pup is use to a bath but this was his first time going to a professional groomer. Not only did they reassure me things would be fine, they kept me updated and the visit went very well! My pup's white fur coat was immaculately clean! Even I have trouble getting his fur back white. Overall, the best experience I have ever had with a groomer and this is now my new Dog Groomer! The customer service was also immaculate hands down!

I have a very non-social dog that freaks out whenever anyone tries to get near him. The owner got down on the floor, and in just a few minutes had Cooper in her arms and off to get his nails trimmed. Took him back a second time and same thing! I have to recommend these folks!!!

Slash & Dash always takes such exceptional care of my dog with every visit. He is always eager to head straight back and is in good spirits when I pick him up. The employees here are also top notch! I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees even when they’re super busy! They always greet their customers with a smile and take their time with each individual. Also a huge bonus when they give my pup an adorable bandana after some visits! Love it! I highly recommend Splash & Dash for your pup!

My dog had a great day at Splash and Dash. It was his first day there and I was worried to take him somewhere new because he use to be in a puppy mill. The lady at the Desk was very nice and she asked me how did I want his ears and hair like. When I came back He looked amazing and smelled great and I even got a discount for being a teacher. They Also have military discounts.

Splash-N-Dash there’s a really good job on my shadow. She comes back looking happy and clean every time I have taken her there. They are nice and friendly there. They greet every customer with a smile.

We love Splash and Dash. With a ~115 lb fluffy white doodle whose favorite activity is rolling in dirt, weekly baths are a must. This makes the monthly bathe and brush subscription indispensable for us. We’ve been taking him to Splash and Dash since he was about 10 weeks old. Over a year later, and he still goes in and comes out tail wagging. The staff has always been friendly and great with him. They take care of any requests I have, like shaving his nasty beard or paying special attention to cleaning his ears, and the discounted prices that come with the subscription are very reasonable. He always gets compliments on how great he looks. I also like their boutique area. They usually have $1 treats near the register that I give him regularly for being a good boy at his appointment, but they also have super cute seasonal and birthday cookies. When we eventually leave the area, we will be so sad to leave Splash and Dash!

Won't be back. Went to try them out for a special, which is great because not all groomers are created equal so it's nice to not be overly invested. Was told additional 39.99 for an impacted undercoat/deshed, but then I get my dog back within their original time frame. If deshed was needed, it would have taken longer to complete. I don't see a huge reduction in the amount of uncoat taken from her either which means additional 40 was a waste. I'm willing to pay it for proper service.She was dirty yes, and her hind quarters were grizzly from it. She was at a different groomer not long ago.I don't know, thanks for the clean dog. Grooming is hard work. Still gave a decent star rating.

Beautiful salon with the cutest treats, boutique front and excellent customer service.I've stopped in without an appointment for a quick nail trim (and they did great) and I've booked full grooming appointments for multiple dogs at once in advance and they were great.I docked 1 star because it's pricey. Service is 5/5. Quality is 5/5. However, it costs too much for me to use these services on a regular basis. If they implemented a rewards program or had regular discount specials, I would update to 5/5 and not go anywhere else!

Took my 8 year old Cocker Spaniel here to get groomed. I travel for my job so I'm always really leary of new places for grooming. My pup had a neck injury a couple years ago that I'm also always worried about. The ladies were nice and gentle with Dutch. He came out all smiles. Worn out but smelling fresh 🤣 His cut is short because I asked for it (he gets into way to much mischief to have a Cocker cut). I would definitely recommend.

I went to Splash and Dash today with my little Dashshund and had the worst experience. I discussed a bath, a trim and nails cut and the manager assured me no problem at all. She said 2-3 hours is standard. I left and waited that time and no call back and no updates on the text page to inform of progress. I finally called back and was told 3-4 hours is standard. I felt sorry for my dog just sitting in a cage without water. I didn’t know this was a factory line operation. I finally picked up my dog at 5:40 pm and you would never know she was groomed. Her nails are still long and clicking on the floor, no haircut at the ears as I requested. I am furious! My dog sat for hours for nothing. If you want a top groomer, go to Miss Belle’s in Aberdeen. One hour at the higher express rate but it is worth it. I couldn’t get in because they are that popular.

wanting to share my experience so people know better than to bring their dogs to this business or even be employed by these people. I was wrongly fired from this company, the day before the holiday season because I have a chronic illness. I was told by the owner, Allison, that I have created too many issues by being ill with the flu and had to miss a week. I also have a chronic illness and was fired because I had to take a break because I was not feeling well. save yourself the time and avoid this business and what they stand for. I am absolutely shocked that people could stoop this low and let someone go because of a health issue that they cannot help. If you try to call and talk to them they always say “our manager isn’t here”, knowing well that she is there and just doesn’t wanna deal with the consequences of her own mistakes. I wish I would have read the reviews before I let myself become employed here, then I would have known that this is not a good place to work.. which explains why they are so short staffed all the time. I’m sure this review will get deleted cause they don’t want people to know the truth. My mother in law called in to complain and when she tried to call back, they blocked her number. LOL. What a sad excuse for a “business”.

Very nice people and the place is really cute but I paid 66.00 for a nail and trim up for my Cooper. Barely noticeable trim...was expecting more than an eye and belly trim. They said he was an alligator for nipping...well yeah..he is a 9 month old terrier mix puppy...I am not crazy about muzzles but as a groomer I wouldn't hesitate to use if necessary. not sure if I would use again.

Our baby looked amazing after her grooming appointment! They knew just how I wanted her to look and they even saved it into their system to where they can do it again in the future. They seem to genuinely care about the pups and after being to may groomers, that makes the difference. They know how important it is to keep dogs there for as little time as possible so that they can get back to their homes and be with their people. My dog and I both are excited to go into Splash and Dash, Southern Pines, NC. :)

They did nails fast and cheap, and the shop was pleasant to be in. The only problem I had was my German shepherd gagging/hacking from the leash being too tight when they walked her out. She’s been hacking for hours since then. Also, my dog has anxiety issues and I feel like the lady just grabbed her too fast and brought her to the back. I love this place and it’s a great atmosphere, but I would love to see a little more care go into the comfortability of pups.

Just picked up my 10 yr old fur buddy, didn't notice till we got home, the $100.00 grooming was sub-par. I took her out for her walk and she was acting sore and refused to continue, I had to bring her back after walking only a short distance, completely out of character for her. At one point she almost fell from hip pain, never happened till today. Saddens me that what could be a good business is putting mass production over tenderness and honor.

MY 1ST REVIEW EVER ON GOOGLE! READ MEWe have had our Dog go to Splash and Dash for the past year. Recently when we have her hair cut, if there are some small knots; they have chose to just shave her completely without informing us they were going to do so. We have a mini-st berdoodle, it takes a long time for her to grow her hair out and that is the way we want her to be presented.This has happened recently again and I wrote a review of how upset we are because they do not bother with calling us or giving us the option to consider not shaving her for possible matting issues.The review was internal to them on their systems. I received no feedback for 3-4 weeks.I had bathe and brush service today. 30 mins before my dog's appointment, they rudely called my wife and told us we were dropped from services.They followed up within the hour with a pre-made email saying we are dropped.Real professional. Send us a polite email and then make a rude phone call.Its completely reasonable to inform the customer of what you are going to do; dont be lazy, dont be rude on the phone.Look at the other reviews, they do the same thing! just shave them and dont ask the owners. They are also kind when they do on here to keep appearances and professionalism.

We took our 11 month old puppy to Splash and Dash in Southern Pines for her first grooming. We were just having them give her a bath, brush, and nail clipping. We dropped her off and the lady told us that I would receive a text when she was done being groomed in 2-3 hours. 2.5 hours go by and I received a frantic call from a lady asking me if I would be able to pick up my dog immediately and that she had 'cut herself' on the inside of the kennel. She said that our puppy started to freak out in the kennel and that she cut herself. The story didn't really add up. If our puppy started to get a little anxious during her first grooming experience, why did they not call us earlier to come pick her up. When we arrived, they brought her out from the back with this big cut on her leg bleeding and she looked terrified and was limping. They said they didn't really know what happened but that she cut it on the kennel...what was so sharp inside the kennel that caused this? They proceeded to not apologize and charge us the full amount for the grooming. They said they are not accountable for mistakes like this because we signed a waiver that cuts like this could happen. Needless to say we immediately went to the emergency vet and have a pretty hefty bill as a result. We will never go to this business again and unfortunately our puppy I think will be a little traumatized to go to any groomer because of this in the future.

I had to cancel my dog's grooming appointment with her usual groomer because something came up last minute. I made another appointment but it is a few weeks out so I thought I would bring my mini labradoodle in for just a bath and brushing. I'm new to this breed and she is only 7 months old so I don't have a ton of experience with groomers.. It was relatively easy to schedule the appointment. I did so online. I looked over all the options, and faqs before scheduling. I received a confirmation email with details of what to expect when I arrived. I brought all her medical paperwork with me because I know vaccinations are required. Once I entered the building I checked in at the desk. I was getting out my pups paperwork and the girl grabbed a comb and said first she needs to check her for matted hair. I told her that she has a couple of small mats. She immediately stopped walking and said they can't bathe her if she has any mats and then proceeded to say that they didn't have time to do a full grooming so I would have to reschedule. I declined the re-schedule and simply left. My husband, angry about the situation, called and spoke to the manager. She barely allowed him to speak, only offering excuses, including three groomers called in sick today. She also said that if they were small or by the ears it would have been no problem. I guess she didn't train her front desk employee well enough on that because she didn't even check for herself or ask any questions. She just immediately went the - we can't help you - route. Sounds like they were just looking for an excuse to turn clients away. After coming home and reading some of these negative reviews, looks like I dodged a bullet. Save yourself some grief (and wasted time) look elsewhere.

For a dog that had been abused, our new, little fellow allowed the groomer to handle him without being afraid at all. He was as happy as could be. It was amazing to see such a great trim and new look too. Thanks to our groomer and the staff at Splash and Dash! We will be back!
