My boyfriend & I stopped here yesterday & we were extremely happy with our experience! We received great recommendations for food, treats, etc. for our dogs! They are different breeds & have completely different needs, & we received amazing knowledge from the staff for each dog. We will definitely be making weekly/bi-weekly stops here for treats for our dogs!

I have been buying the dogs’ food from CFC for over 3 years and could not be happier! Great products and great service. Just recently had a ‘glitch’ with their kibble. The issue was rectified in very short order!Highly recommend!!

Staff are very friendly and helpful every time I go.Just wish more tuff/durable toys for dogs that will last.But all n all I'm always greeted nicely and helped.Love the new Salmon and Other treats sticks for sure! Thank You...!

If you need it, they have it (or can get it for you). If you can’t even imagine it that’s fine too, cause they have that as well. The only downside is how easy it is to spoil my pup. Luckily, their huge selection and availability of healthy options keeps my Saint Bernard in great shape and my conscience clear. Thanks to the whole team for their effort and caring for our critters so we can too.

I truly love this shop. If they don't have what you need, they'll have it in a matter of days. The quality of the food they carry is amazing. Where else could you find dog food that's first ingredient is KANGAROO? My dog has been happier, healthier, and has so much more energy since I switched to the food Brianna recommended. My cats used to be picky about their food, but they'll eat anything I bring home from here!The quality of the hard goods they carry is great as well. I bought a 20-foot long line leash (edit: two years ago!!), and after daily use, it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it.Whenever I come home from Cared for Canine and Cat, both my dog AND two cats run up to sniff the bags because they can smell the delicious things I've brought them! I've been shopping here for two years now and couldn't see myself going anywhere else for my pets.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I adore the owner and her employees. They're kind, caring, and knowledgeable every time I go in. The products are constantly being updated to the newest, best supplies they can offer, and the employees are always available to offer a suggestion or just an ear to keep up with what's going on with your pets. I recommend Cared for Canine to every dog or cat owner who wants the best for their pet.

Love the owners & sales reps! Very friendly, great service, reasonably priced items & they allow leashed pets in here. Wayyy better than Petsmart(whom I think is over-priced & not very personable). I get my pups dog food here, a holistic brand that I can't find ANYWHERE ELSE in town. I highly recommend this store.

Best fur baby store around. Brianna is the best, she will research anything for you as she did for us. We needed a special dog food for our super allergic dog. Brianna found the perfect match for this girl. There is always a good stock of all foods, toys, beds, treats and whatever you need or want. If you aren’t sure what you need or want ask Brianna the owner, she will help!!

Went here for the first time as a recommendation from a friend. Was not disappointed. I have 2 German Shepherds who have to have grain free food. Normally I feed them Taste Of The Wild, but recently my dogs havent been wanting it. Decided to go here to look at their selection of Fromm, which they had a lot of.During my visit there were a few things to note:•very friendly staff, I was asked for help within a few minutes of browsing and the lady was very helpful and informative•very large selection of foods, especially Fromm•every 12th bag you get one bag free•competitive pricing•large selection of treats and bones•they will put in an order for you if they dont have it•Military discount, 10% offMy dogs loved the new food they got and I will be going back. 10/10 will recommend this place to friends, family, or anyone in the Southern Pines area who has a dog and care about the food they buy.

Great selection of quality food and treats for dogs and cats. Even carry a brand of dog food I fed my pups in Alaska which makes like easier not having to change. Will definitely frequent this place for their food and treats.

Great place to pickup healthy foods for your dog. They have toys too. Keep in mind that they will not be the least expensive pet food bc of the type of food carried.

This store has all of my favorite food companies, top of the line stuff. Prices are very fair and as expected. The staff has always been friendly. This is not my go to dog store because they don't opened earlier enough for when I am this direction (we go to the dog park very early) but if I happen to be around and they are open I do stop in and grab what I need.

I absolutely love this small business! They support the local rescues, employee a pet food nutritionist, and if there's any way possible, they specifically order food or items if they don't have them in stock when you go into the store! If you haven't visited this store yet and talked with the nutritionist, I really urge you to give it a try!
