I really like this sporting goods store at Cleveland Mall at Shelby. They have a good selection of hunting equipment, targets, bows and guns. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They have an external entrance as well as a mall side entrance.

Very poor customer service. I'm usually in the store for over 30 minutes and I have never gotten a greeting from an associate or manager. Very dismal and dead feeling in the stores atmosphere. No enthusiasm to wanna shop. Plus they don't have hardly anything in the store. Looks like a liquidation or going out of business sale.

If you love shopping without the staff "bothering" you, then this is the place to be. The main issue with the ghost town nature of this store is the clothing sections are not organized.So when looking for a specific item in these sections, you better be good at scavenger hunting.It is clear that the main concern of this store is it's hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports sections as they were immaculate!

Terrible place to shop. I have issues every time I come here. Will not return. Because they had an item in the wrong place I had 20 minutes of my time wasted for a price check, had to show them the where I got the item on the other side of the store and was told that the item had been stocked in the wrong place and that they couldn’t change the price for me. Note this was a clearanced item placed on a clearanced rack but apparently not the right rack so the price was higher than the rack was labeled. They were very rude to us as though we had inconvenienced them yet they were the ones who’d stocked items in the wrong area.

What a horrible experience. Checked online to make sure a specific gun was in stock in Shelby. Website said it was in stock. Drove an hour and then was told it was out of stock. Okay, strike one. Call another store in Lenoir and was told that there was one in stock. Made sure to tell them to hold it. Drove another hour and a half to be told when I get there that they were mistaken. They don’t have it. Now, I’m livid. Ask to speak to manager and was told they could not do anything about it. There was another gun close to it but $300 more expensive. Still told they couldn’t help with the price unless the gun was damaged some way. Manager then says that we can have 25% off anything that wasn’t a fire arm or ammo. So my husband finds some stuff he needed anyways to make up the price a bit. THEN, manager says that she’ll only discount ONE item. Now, I’m beyond livid. So, husband purchased more expensive gun and was not allowed to look at it until it was purchased. Get it home and barrel is knicked. You’ve got to be joking! I will NEVER put my money into this corporation again and I’ll make sure to broadcast to anyone considering shopping here what a joke this company is.
