The store has an older design and set up but is clean. Prices on shampoo and stuff were higher than most places. But the pharmacy was very fast with my childs meds. Staff were friendly.

I will be filing a complaint against this store. I pulled up for a prescription, and they told me it be ready 30-45min for my child. I waited the time, and got inside to wait the remainder of the time. They saw me sitting and all, and finally I went up to the counter for the pharmacist to tell me they don’t have it in stock.That was unprofessional and rude to have my son sick waiting for them to tell me that when they’re supposed to tell me at the window when I checked in if they had it or not. I wasted an hour, and even then I had to look on my own for other pharmacies.

I used same day delivery for the first time... I was VERY SATISFIED with the Walgreens Pharmacy Associate Parker and the Door Dash delivery service drive Megan... They Showed Care to me when I needed it most as a customer who us injured, but recovering...THANK YOU

If I could give a negative, I would. Went in for a prescription prescribed for my son. The pharmacist told me that the dr ordered an over the counter eye drop and directed me to a holistic drug instead. This was on a Friday after hours, confused but with all going on I assumed I misheard our provider and purchased the OTC drops as pharmacist stated the doctor ordered. With ZERO improvements I contacted our pediatrician first thing on Monday to update that there was no change and the eye drops she prescribed were not working when she informed me that that was NOT what she had sent over. I contacted Walgreens and spoke with a floater that was on call that day and he said it was up to the discretion of the pharmacist on if they fulfill the medication or not. I asked to speak to a manager, I overheard him speaking to him but stated he was unavailable because he was not on shift at the time, even though again I could clearly hear their entire conversation. I asked when such manager, named Parker, was at work and was told Tuesday morning at 8. I was able to call Walgreens on Bragg Blvd and they fulfilled the eye drops prescribed on Friday, Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning there was no progress, contacted Parked and nothing was resolved other than voicing my concern of the blatant lie I was told that the original drops were what my provided sent over. Now Tuesday, had to pick up my son and go to an urgent care and now has infection and requires an oral treatment as well as ointment to the eye. Could this have been avoided if the proper medication that the doctor prescribed was delivered - we may never know. I do know I would not trust anyone at this pharmacy with anything involving my children or loved ones health again. Completely dissatisfied and disappointed when these are professionals we are supposed to trust.

I had an appointment made and no one had even acknowledged me standing at the desk of the pharmacy for the 15 minutes.Waited 55min to be seen. What’s the point of having an appointment…The people didn’t really seem to care to waste my time along with the other people here waiting.I will never come to a Walgreens again to get any vaccines I will always go to a CVS they’re more organized and have better customer service and time management.

Even though I had a 1 p.m. appointment for my flu vaccine, I had to wait an hour and twenty minutes past my appointment time. I wish someone would have told me about the lengthy weight. I had just picked up a hot lunch and iced smoothie that was waiting for me in my van. I could have eaten my lunch and drank my smoothie in the parking lot while I waited. Instead, my food was cold and my smoothie melted and warm when I finally got out. At least I got my flu vaccine.That's not the only issue I've had with this Walgreens. Not long ago I waited in the pharmacy line with a bunch of other vehicles. I was stuck with vehicles behind me and in front of me. Turns out the pharmacy had a computer issue and closed for the day. While the person they were serving was still waiting in the drive-thru! So we waited hours before enough people drove on so I could get out of the drive-through. The pharmacy did not tell anyone or post an update on the window. I go to Walmart for my prescriptions now. I assume I have to do that for my vaccinations too.

This pharmacy could be a lot faster, but I understand in this new world things have changed. However, Mia sure made my evening easy and was so pleasant on the phone. It was nice to have great customer service (all businesses included) thanks to her.

First, I understand the stress this team is under at this time. With sick and impatient people inside waiting and 2 lanes outside to the road waiting. My sick Autistic sister walks in ( I’m waiting in the car with a napping 3 year old) was told it would be ready in another hour. Ok. Understandable. I drive through (waiting over an hour) to be told another 30 minutes. The lady was very professional and offered apologies and repeated it’s just not ready. She said come inside in 30 minutes, straight to the counter and ask for her. No waiting in line. I said thank you. I would’ve given more stars…… IF it hadn’t of been for the other pharmacist looking out the window glaring at me with her obvious attitude. She has no idea how UGLY that was.

I always have a good experience here. The pharmacist care about the people, they are always friendly and kind. I wouldn’t want to go to another pharmacy. Through the pandemic I saw so many pharmacy techs and pharmacist work urgently to get medicine filled for people in need. Their work is commendable.

Parker is very hard working and easy to deal with, other than him this is an awful pharmacy. Waited over 1.5 hours in line (there was only 6 people in front of me) just to drop off my prescription, then was told the pharmacy can't figure out how to insert pills into a bottle until tomorrow at 10am and they can't blame insurance or anything else because I'm paying cash. This location is open for another 4 hours and opens again at 7am. You mean you can't put pills in a bottle in under 7 hours??

Absolutely horrible experience every single time we try to pick up our prescriptions. Be prepared to wait an hour or more in line no matter what time of the day you go. The staff isn't knowledgeable, they make constant mistakes when filling prescriptions, and (I can't stress this enough) the wait times are so long that it seems like they're actually doing it on purpose. It just isn't possible to need over an hour to assist the 4 customers you have in your line.

I waited through the drive though for over 30 minutes, just to have them tell me that my daughters meds still aren't ready (told me they would be ready the day before.) I tired to call when I left to have them transfer the prescription because I needed the meds. I waited on hold for 27 minutes to get hung up on. This Walgreens is ridiculous.

Amazing that after 14 months of Covid vaccinations they just can’t seem to get it right! Understaffed for sure, made appointment and still had to wait for an hour. I would definitely not recommend them for any vaccines. They only had one cashier and one line for processing routine prescriptions and Covid testing/ vaccines during the lunch rush hour. Really poorly managed operation…and let’s not talk about how unkempt and unsanitary the pharmacy area looks !!!😡

This is the worst Pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my life. I’ve continually had trouble here. I scheduled a COVID shot for 1030 and it took me over an hour to get my shot and I arrived 10 minutes early! Not only that they continually mess up my prescription saying they don’t have after watching my Dr send it in personally! Never come here if you don’t want to be stressed or annoyed. The customer service is terrible to!

Took an hour to get through the drive through the first time I visited. Only 5 cars ahead of me. Went inside and it took over 36 minutes at the pharmacy just to speak with an associate. People were crowded into the corner area of the store either waiting in line or for Covid testing. After six days of waiting for a prescription, I went through the drive through again, and it took just over an hour with four cars ahead. The woman blurted out my name and address, along with allergies over the speaker while the cars beside and behind me had their windows down. What happened to patient privacy? While inside the pharmacy the visit prior, I was able to hear the conversation between three different patients and the employees. I do not recommend going to this place if you value confidentiality because they are no longer discreet regarding your information.

No wonder this store is rated 2.2! This is my first time writing a review because it’s ridiculous!! I just wanted to drop my packages and had to went in line but the guy wanted me to wait until he’s done with all the costumers paying and kept ringing everyone coming in after me. All he has to do is scan my packages. I waited in line like everybody else so I can get the service I need but nope he wanted to just accommodate the rest because they are BUYING something!!!

Signed up for Covid vaccinations and the first scheduled appointments were canceled due to system issues which was not allowing them to process transactions. I received a call and was told to go to the other location by the post office but I had to be there by 6pm. I was unable to make that work so I rescheduled. Today when we arrived, we were told the same thing. This time I didn't receive a call and our appointments were for a time after 6pm. I do not recommend this location as they are unable to communicate.

Waited for an hour in the drive through for a prescription and before that an hour just to talk to an associate to ask a question about my prescription! Something needs to change drastically, I will be taking my prescriptions to hopefully a more organized Walgreens, this is so uncalled especially since there are 2 other Walgreens on the same road. Not okay Walgreens!

Pharmacy only - Customer Service is non-existent. They are rude and treat you like they are doing you a favor. EVERYONE in there is slow and doesn't do anything with expedition. There are too many people and no one will do anyone else's job. If you say anything, they will be even more rude the next time. Walgreens unfortunately is the only one who takes tri care. Trust me go anywhere else but here

DON'T USE THE PHARMACY! You will wait all day or days then get told to come back and they will have your Rx ready. By no surprise and on numerous occasions it will not be ready. You will wait 40 mins in the line outside, same inside. And most of the time with them being short staffed, your going to get attitude from the employees. I absolutely hate this place. Support the small business pharmacist in town.I have transferred and enjoying their business much more. Believe me, I'm trying to save you from having a headache!

This is the worst Phamacy in Sanford. You better have all day if you plan to do bussiness there. If you go down the road to 1050 horner, the service is so much better. They need to fire everyone at 1956 horner and start over. Its ridiculous and they do not care about the customer at all.Ok, now this is a month later than the original post. So yesterday I get a text that all my prescriptions are ready. When I went up there, they told me they ould not find any and would have to refill. They were not very friendly when they told me this. They call me today and tell me one is ready, I ask when the other 2 would be ready, the lady who was very nasty, told me she didnt know, but would let me know. I will never use this store ever again, they do not care about people. Whoever is over this store needs to be fired, along with most of the ones working in the pharmacy. The next walgreens at 1050 horner, are very professional and treat people great. This will be my store from now on. The other one needs to be shut down or replace everyone with better workers.

This place has 0 organization. I got prescriptions transferred here Wednesday, was told it would be a few hours. Came by the next morning and they hadn’t even filled them. They were still on their fax machine. Called later that day, still hadn’t been filled. Tried calling the next day and was on hold for forever so I gave up. Called today (Sunday) and lone behold, they have still not been filled because they’re not due when I’m overdue on almost all of my medications. Said this and now they will be ready “today” supposedly. Seriously the most frustrating thing. Also the line is absurdly slow.

Rude employee at the pharmacy section. I went in after my dad called telling me the girl was being rude. The employee was hispanic and wore glasses. She was being rude to my dad after my dad was trying to talk to her in spanish. She refused to speak spanish and gave a nasty attitude. Seriously walgreens. Get better employees….

Had an appointment at 11:20am waited over 45 minutes past my appointment time. Why make appointments when you are not even close to what time was set. I will not even get into how horrible it was to even make the appointment through the app. Will never return to this Walgreens for anything and let everyone I know avoid this location

I’d give a zero star but it’s not an option. I dropped off a prescription at 8:30 pm was told it would be ready at 8 am. Called at 8 am was told it would be ready by 11 am. Drove all the way over and only one is ready and then I’m told I have to wait two hours? Unacceptable!!! Happens EVERY TIME I try to use this sorry excuse for a pharmacy! Would NOT recommend!

Covid testing is Left lane only. Nothing indicates that clearly when you arrive the location. I was indicated to turn around and do the line again. More than a hour waiting in total. That’s very disappointing. Please put a sign telling that info for the benefit of others. When you are sick you barely can do a long line, how do you think people could do the line 2 times?

Had a flu shot appointment, waited an hour and 5 minutes. Went to window pharmacist Parker was so rude said it would be another 45 minutes. This is the worst customer service and Walgreens that I have been to.
