I went into the store looking for a specific foreign coin, not knowing this was not their business focus. The two employees took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Even though this isn't what they sell, the owner located a bag of foreign coins and spent about 15 minutes looking for the coin I was interested in. In the end, he found one and ending up giving it to me. The coin isn't particularly valuable but the fact that he spent the time to help me is very much appreciated!

The great little shop what's even better is they treat you fair, you get a fair price if you're selling you get a fair market value for it. These type of businesses don't exist out there and it was a pleasure to find one

I went to Carolina Coins to get an appraisal of my dad’s coin collection for his estate. Brad and Matt were very knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. I felt very comfortable there and enjoyed learning about the value of coins. I returned months later to sell the collection and received a fair price. I would definitely go there for any gold or silver valuation needs in the future!! You can’t trust everyone in this kind of business, but I believe them to be quite trustworthy!

Great Find!!This place is an hour away from where I live, but it was sure worth the drive, regardless of the outcome. Staff is professional and straightforward. I was relaxed the entire time, learned some new things and was very happy and satisfied with the offer I received with what I was selling. When I was searching online where to go to sell my stuff, this place came up first, even though I live far away. If the need arises, I will definitely be back here again to do business with them. Brad and his team are SPOT on with no pun intended with both pricing and customer service. Brad took a lot of time with us and explained the market and details of the value of silver. It was my first purchase for a large quantity, so I wasn't 100% sure about making the investment. I highly doubt you'll get better pricing and service anywhere in the Carolinas. Top Notch!!

Very nice shop. They carry slabbed, BU, and circulated coinage, the prices are competitive. I'm a big fan of the 'house' gold & silver (four 9s for both metals); the Carolina Coins 5 oz. silver bar is perfect for anyone looking to put a percentage of their paycheck into physical silver. Stack on!

As far as coins are concerned, this place has the best prices I’ve came across in comparison to Wilmington, Jacksonville and Raleigh. When the spot price of silver was just under $26 I was charged only $29 per 1oz Buffalo bar. Hands down the best prices I’ve come across so far.

Said my idem was not silver but two other pawn shops said it was Tiffany .999 silver and Pawned it for me for $260.00 for a cup with long stem weight was 5.5 Oz's they made some and I was happy since I found it silver spot price was 21 dollars a gram... 32 grams I'n a Oz Thats over 150 grams My cup weighs 5.5 Oz I'm happy with 260 plus I can get it back and I will next month...

i been buying silver from that placr from a guy thats most of the time is there but today friday was an older guy im a newbie to silver and he sold me 5 ounces of junk silver at 18$ an ounce were i find out that junk silver is worth 13$ an ounce i feel scam i dont recomend going there when the older guy is there he wants to tell stuff way over its value
