Bought some glow fish and tank setup for little girl a week ago, some died so had to replace them but the gentleman that helped me today not only got the fish i needed to replace but also provided me with HELPFUL knowledge about them I would recommend asking him for help if you are getting fish for the first time THANK YOU Aaron

For some reason there's a note on my grooming account from over a year ago that my dog is incompetent when he comes (this is not a true statement). When this note was added and after a very heated discussion with the grooming manager I told myself that I would not bring my dog back to this Petsmart because certain staff members have labeled him and appear to always have a negative comment about him. This was so long ago that I completely forgot about it. I was quickly reminded of my vow when Ashley asked me about the old note. She asked me was the note about my dog being incompetent an old note or was it from this visit (I'm sure there's a date/time stamp on the note and a history of the date of our last visit). My dog also left with blood oozing out of his right eye. None of the staff knew why his eye was bleeding. Thankfully the petsmart vet assisted me with getting my dog over to the hospital to be seen at no charge to me. I PROMISE that I will never bring my dog back to the petsmart in salisbury; all dogs are not treated equally. I must say that Lauren was nice and did a great job on the bath and brush. Ashley should learn to be more professional and value her customers. When we visited over a year ago I did not receive a report with feedback on how my dog did and the services he received (this is what started the heated conversation amongst other things). Please note that during this recent visit I STILL DID NOT receive a report or feedback on how my dog did and the services he received. We've been going to petsmart since my dog was born 9 years ago; no other petsmart in North Carolina treats us like this.

The associate i found for help at Petsmart knew her stuff, but they didn't have enough workers for the amount of business they were doing when i went in there. I went for a dog leash. 25 dollars but the same leash is in Walmart for 12. Recommend for fish, small pets, and to answer questions- but tools for the pets- like aquariums, pet leash, bowls, toys, everything but the pet...i suggest walmart or support your local pet store!! If in Salisbury or close to. Go to Mainstream Pets. They are nice, knowledgeable and will order stuff for you if they don't have it. But Petsmart is clean and stocked.

I bought a beta from this store and the next day it was dead and my son was very upset. So I took this fish back to get a new one and the manager was very RUDE! He kept saying it was my fault after I have taken care of many betas for many years who have lived years at my house. He then told me just go over there and someone will assist you in a very rude tone and cutting me off from explaining how I handled the fish the proper way. So when someone comes to assist me I go to pick out my sons new betta and there’s a dead on right there on the shelf and so I wanna know how it’s my fault over the fish dying when their fish are clearly not taken care of and very sickly appearing . All at the bottom of their cups and side ways. So here’s a picture of the dead fish on the shelf since the manager wants to be rude.

We went to check price's on deworming meds for our new puppy vs. the prices at Tractor Supply. It was nice people there were helpful but also pretty expensive and Tractor Supply had more variety and a lot cheaper.

If I could give 100+ stars I would! I had the best and most welcoming experience yesterday morning at this location. Ryan was so helpful, super friendly, and informative with all the things that I needed to buy for my sons new kitten. This is our first pet that we have ever had so I wanted to make sure I didn't leave the store without having everything she needed at home. Ryan is awesome and I appreciate him for being so nice and willing to help us. He walked around with us and showed us around while we shopped. He took his time and gave me great advice for the things to do with home care for cats as well. The lady who checked us out was awesome and nice as well. I am not sure what her name was, but this will be the location I go to for our kitty's needs!

Good supply of animal food at a reasonable price. Crickets and mealworm are a bit more expensive than others in the area but readily available. Dog and cat food cheaper at wm for similar brands. -Random rant- I'm consistently annoyed by the inappropriate housing for hermitcrabs, frogs, and crabs. (Please double the digging medium.) I purchased a $9 bag of variety sea shells for a single shell I thought my Hermitcrab would want to move into. Best $9. She's about 3 1/2 years old. Overall a good store I recommend going each month to check out new inventory.

Never walked through the store but Alyona shampooed and cut my cat's hair. She did great! We got a lions cut. He can be a bit grumpy but she did awesome! Even trimmed his nails. Reasonable price also! I will be doing this regularly! 😺

Oh man, this place is a whole terror maze, I was looking at the spider cage and noticed it wasn’t in there or at least I didn’t see it, then I kept walking around the store just looking at stuff when I noticed A LOT of cobwebs everywhere, I left the store convinced there was a spider crawling on me, and let me tell you, IT WAS NOT FUN.

we’ve been coming to this store for months with no problems at all, until today. We came in 10 minutes until closing due to the holiday and was told to get out while still shopping meanwhile we went in for one thing and we knew exactly where it was in the store. We were in the store for a solid 1-2 minutes. The cashier Ana was rude as can be and told us to get out and while checking us out, told us we can’t use our phone number for our rewards. worst encounter we’ve ever had.

I shop this store about 2-3 times each week and I have never had a bad experience. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked, clean, and organized.This is my favorite store to shop for my pets!

I’ve been taking my dog to this location for two years now for grooming. However, this was my first experience with Lani. She was rude and unprofessional, and I believe the L in her name stands for lazy. She welcomed him and then asked if he had fleas, I stated that he didn’t and she checked him after stating that he didn’t as well. She proceeded to ask if he had any problems being groomed and I replied no, but he does not like his nails rounded, however he will still allow her to trim them. She then stated that if my dog has fleas that she will not be able to complete his appointment, at that moment I felt as is she didn’t want to groom him. Not even 6 minutes after I left, I get a call stating that he has fleas and that he has been washed and is being dried? Long story short I felt as if she was lazy, unprofessional, and didn’t want to be bothered with the appointment. Mind you she lied about my dog having fleas, (my dog has never had a flea in his life). I picked up a wet dog because she was too lazy to groom him.

Dog has the PERFECT cut now.I had to change my review from a year or so ago, PS used to do great jobs on our pet but it seems like the new grooming staff has a shortage of patience and willingness. I will try to come back one or two more times, maybe they had a bad morning, but I will look for grooming and pet supplies somewhere else.
