Always love to stop to pick up odd items. The staff are always helpful and professional but the one thing I hate about this place is that they have the worst cell phone reception of any store I've ever been in. They really need to improve this so I don't recommend this store if you are on standby.

I have been a shopper of this store for a few years now. I needed to make a return on a dollar general item that was bought from a different dollar general. Right away the cashier asked me to wait while she got the manager, which is standard. The manager looked like he just walked in off the street. I didn’t even see a name badge. Not professional at all. He doesn’t even give me a chance to speak to him about the item and right away says I have to go to the store I bought it from.No where did I find this and the return policy. And I have never been to a store, where you couldn’t return an item that the store sales with a receipt. I had to ask the manager to repeat himself because he just mumbled it out.They just lost my business.

Rude staff. Nothing is ever in stock. Employees couldn’t be bothered to do their job.This store has really gone downhill over the past couple of years. I used to love shopping here it’s close to home and convenient but unfortunately now I dread having to ever stop at this store. I rather drive to Walmart which is 20 mins from my house compared to this which is only 5. Very disappointed. I will not be returning.

This store is literally the worst of all dollar generals in the area. They always have empty shelves everywhere. But what's absolutely disgusting about this store is the manager who either doesn't have a mask at all or it's hanging down below his mustache. Today I saw him turn a girl away for cigarettes because her ID Expired2 days ago.I guess he only enforces certain rules. This place really needs some corporate intervention. What a joke.

Staff is nice....but not much more to say about this location. Store is in chaos at the moment. The shelfs are nearly empty. Carts with merchandise all around the store blocking your view and restricting movement. But the Christmas section is out just in time for Thanksgiving. 😁

It's Dollar General, you're not going there to designer clothing. But it's great for basic household products. As well as snacks or a gallon of milk, shampoo (because you forgot it at the big box store), laundry detergent, a picture frame ( because the kids are coming for a visit and the grandbabies latest picture is still on the coffee table, lol). Only downside is depending on the store location you have 7 people in line to check out and there is only one cashier. The stores have always been clean, are stocked well, and staff/employees are friendly and helpful.

My family lives in the western part of Rowan County, and a number of years ago, they decided to build a Family Dollar out in this direction. honestly, I think it's kind of been a bit of a game changer. Instead of having to drive all the way to downtown if you need to grab something, most things can be found at this Family Dollar on 150.Other than covid really wiping out their inventory, they generally tend to be fully stocked with everything the shelves could hold.

I've been going to that Dollar General ever since it opened up I was going there at least one to two times a week but not anymore it's Under New Management the past couple months and that store has gone downhill ever since. the employees are too busy outside smoking then to be in there helping their customers or checking their customers out. the store is an unorganized mess now I decided after my last trip there I will never go back to that Dollar General again ever!

Just left here, got lost in all the mess and the cashier wasn't very friendly. You can't walk down the aisles due to stacks of boxes amd carts. Its 3:33 pm and I wouldn't be surprised if this store closed due to lack of customer service.

I put this way the dollar general off of 29 going toward China grove got shut down by the fire dept because the store is a mess you can't even get through the isle!! FIRE HAZARD! Thank you Salisbury fire department

I am rating it 3 stars because they have several items in the store that say buy $20 worth of different things and receive $5 off now. Also they had buy 4 kleenex or scott products and get $2 off. I bought both and didnt receive neither neither off.

This DG store has gone down so terrible. The new MGR is trying very hard to get this store cleaned up arranged n hopefully keep it that way. It’s not the Mgrs fault it is the clientele that shops in here kids running around messing store up whileParents do whatever. Idk I have reported that this storeNeeds serious help. I’ve seen ppl come in here to shop that barely have clothes on. Nasty is all I can say.

Not all the items are stock. The cashier even through she seen me waiting to pay continue to adjust items then when she finished or came to a stoping point finally acknowledge me and charge me..

Have not seen lesser employees except in Danville Illinois. Rap music, not muzak, on personal stereo. Asked about an items location. "Look back there" was my entire service experience.

Found everything I needed. The clerk was really nice. Once in my car, the clerk ran out holding a bag that I had accidentally almost left behind,. How cool was that!!

I like shopping there but is always junky.. but I know it is pretty busy there and it's really hard to run the cash register and stock.. but the staff is always really nice

A big mess. Dollar General as a whole are looking messier every time I visit one. They've become a convience store, and this is the only reason to shop there. One star because I found what I needed, although I settled for a lesser value.

Friendly staff that is helpful. Stocking issues aren't their fault and I can usually find what I go to purchase or at least find a substitute.

They had no bathrooms and they didn't not have thing that I wanted. Also I saw stuff spilled on the floor and it was blue and it looked absolutely disgusting.

Awesome you can get just about anything you need there new management has taken over and I am sure there will be some changes for the good be sure to go to the Dollar Tree

**** Dollar General the management is rude the cashiers were rude the store was dirty there is merchandising laying in the aisles it was a complete mess maybe they should get some better Management in there but they got cheap stuff that I like so three stars but if I could go somewhere else and get what I like cheaper I totally would I don't know what the problem was with everybody in there that day I would a nice guy but they were totally rude they were rude to the sweet older woman in front of me to very unprofessional

The company plans to dot thousands of towns with dozens of stores, thus closing a lot of grocery stores or preventing grocery stores to be viable to build in certain neighborhoods.
