8:20 am. Store is closed, the gentleman is stoking shelf’s. Sees me abs my child at the door, comes up slightly annoyed that his registers are down and can’t help me. Needed meds for my son that I was holding, instead of telling the truth that he may be short handed he used this excused. I will never spend a Dollar of my money at the corporation again. What a joke.

I absolutely love Dollar General... but with that being said, they never have exactly what I need or looking for at the time.. I always have to end up going to several different stores, & still didn't find what I wanted.. smh the stores are always clean and sanitary! Not long wait time for check out either.. pretty quick!

A really good supply of everyday household items, including frozen foods. Lots of soda, no toilet paper at the time I went. Lots of gift cards and gift bags and the items you need to get dressed in the morning. No hair dryer, which is what I was looking for, but seems they just don't stock that type of merchandise, now I know.

Dollar General has REALLY upgraded within the last few years. They have the cutest stuff now and you can't beat their prices. I used to go to Family Dollar every shopping trip for household essentials but I did recently switch to DG. Recommended by my Mother. She has always shopped with you guys.Keep up the good work! Your merchandise keeps getting better and better.

THIS IS FOR THE NEW DOLLAR GENERAL ON HWY 152Waitedfor 5 Minutes cashier to come back inside from talking to her friend to checked me out.Another visit I asked where the batteries were and I got a "fingerpoint"...not " oh they're right there"Never have gotten a thank you from any cashierOr a smileNeed to hire friendlier people who appreciate a job

We recently just moved into town and went to fo a little household supply shopping. We ended up at the most organized DG. This one was one of the best we've been to and the employees were awesome. Giving us assistance on locating items so we won't have to search around.- Thanks DG of Rockwell and employees

I give the Dollar Store 5 stars . They have built 2 Dollar General's Just right down the road where I live , I love the fact that It's convenient and the dollar isle is great also , you can always find neat things shopping with the General Dollar .

While we up towards Rockwell we stopped at the new Dollar General there at the intersection of 52 and I believe it's Organ St. They had nothing there at all. Just stuff put here and there and me and another customers kid had to use the bathroom and they said they didn't have one. I can use the one I always ship at in oakboro and Red Cross. It wasn't worth stopping at. Hopefully since they just opened up they can redeem their selves as they continue to stay open.

I work near this dollar general. The workers are very helpful and very nice. Vanna and Caleb have always been helpful when I'm looking for an item.

Although it's not shown on the map in street view yet, it is there i promise lol. It is only roughly 6ish miles away from the other DG on 152 twards 85 on the other side of the BP. Usually stocked with 2-3 people workin unless its stocking then they have a few more. They do try and help you when they can get the time tho.

This store in Rockwell is very dirty. I even offered to clean the parking lot and buggies but they said " It is A Corporate thing " They cant keep good associates all they want to do is play on their phone.

This location does not serve its entire community..I went in to pick up some ethnic products for my biracial child, and the associate told me this location does not sell ethnic products!! I’ve never been in a DG that does not serve to the ethnic community!! I’ve been to other locations that are in the “country” and they serve ethnic products. This is so sad! I will not shop at this location anymore.

Food is not as good as it use to be. I got the fish,it was OK but the slaw was dry and the hush puppies were hard as a rock
