Very nice, clean place. Beds were very comfortable. Very reasonable price. Very clean. The young man that checked us in, David, was very helpful and super nice. We had a few good laughs with him. Would stay here again.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.

Very high priced and very low quality. Find a local Airbnb or stay in one of the close by cities. They are the only motel in town and they are priced very high, which would be OK but they are lacking in everything. This is such a great town with wonderful people. It is a shame that they take advantage of travelers. The town needs tourists and could really use more money being spent there. Please visit the town and support them but maybe find another option for overnight. I really hate giving a bad review. I love this town and the people are great (including everyone at this motel). I hope the owner will consider this review. I would love to upgrade it or delete it.Rooms: small and have no carpetNearby activities: Tale of the Dragon is close by. The Appalachian trail is close by. A beautiful lake and excellent camping are also close by. Cherokee Casino is close too.Food & drinks: Breakfast here is very limited and for the price kind of shameful.

A single waffle maker and yoghurt are not “free breakfast”, lukewarm-at-best shower, still $170/night. I stayed here for one night because the Deal’s Gap hotel was too booked on one of the nights of my stay. Bleh. The staff was friendly and the room was clean but I will never stay here again. They’re the only chain hotel in Robbinsville and it showed. If you have the option to stay somewhere else please act on it. Learn from my $170 mistake.Rooms: Clean, basic, lukewarm almost cool shower water even at maximum hot.Nearby activities: Deal’s Gap, Appalachian Trail, and Fontana AdamWalkability: Across the street from the grocery store and a short walk to the dollar store and fast food.Food & drinks: Terrible food options. They didn’t even have bananas in their ‘free breakfast’.

Stopped in for a two day stay. this hotel is located in a great place and the employees were great. my complaint is that there was no hot water to bath or shower in and after a long day of riding a hot shower is important. The carpet in room was terribly dirty and the channel availability was not that great. I made a complaint in regards to the rate paid for no hot water but, it falls on deaf ears because they are centrally located. do yourself a favor and find a mom and Pop stop or better yet Tapoco Resort is amazing. you'll thank me later.

We stayed here for 4 nights and never had maid service clean the room (and it was dirty when we checked in- pics of a chip on the floor next to bed and toilet paper on bathroom floor) we had to go to the desk to get towels every night. (So naturally towels piled up and trash cans in the room were full of empty water bottles) I was very disappointed in our stay for almost $200 a night we definitely expected better service. The air conditioner/heat unit had mold in it so we couldn’t use it as I have breathing issues.Disappointed!!!! Would give negative stars if I could.

I've stayed here so many times. It's a pretty even distance between the dragon and Bryson. Plenty of food and grocery options, plus they always have good movies playing on the TV in the lobby.Rooms: Redid the floors recently. Feels cleaner. Overall not bad. Beds are ok, highly recommend bring your own pillow.Nearby activities: The flippin DRAGON!!!!Safety: Elevator doesn't feel like it's going to fall out. ✔️Walkability: Ingles, Wendy's, Walgreens, and honestly a few other local restaurants.Food & drinks: Fine dining next door at Willow tree and home style lunch at Lynn's up the hill. Awesome simple breakfast at Southern Gals! All within walking distance if need be.Noteworthy details: Continental breakfast isn't awful. Plenty of food!

Please save your money and go to an AirBnB. Had to visit due to my father being diagnosed with cancer and had to drive 12hr from FL. Paid for the room the day "before" arrival and then got charge an additional $150 for not canceling the room even though I needed early check in because I drove overnight. A/C didn't work in room 303, TV didn't work, room wasn't turned down for 3 days and they wouldn't credit me anything or even call me. This place sucks but they're the only hotel in the area so they'll always be busy and don't care about the customers or the facility from what I've seen. That gym equipment needs to be returned back to the "used" section at the consignment shop next store, it's trash. Also fix the juice machine in the cafe with the money you stole from me because that's broken as well. Check your receipt, they use backwoods country math.

Melisa and Becky are very professional and accommodating. They answered all questions and made my stay well worth it. Melissa southern hospitality shines though her job. She is a huge asset to the company. Everyone I have seen interact with her are always smiling. The hotel was clean and not one complaint. We reserved 5 rooms for our friends and I to do the Smokey 500 on our dirt bikes. Everyone was happy and had no issues with the rooms. Breakfast is great options for a free breakfast.

TV kept buffering, walls are paper thin, no hot water in the morning for showers, wallpaper peeling off the walls in bathroom. Expected more for almost $200 a night.

One of the smallest rooms I've ever tried to stay for the rate I paid. The staff was ambivalent to our concerns or requests concerning the several construction workers cooking their evening meal in the parking lot or the two "ladies" who decided to fight in the parking lot. Never again will we stay in this motel. One night was one night too many.Rooms: Rooms are very, very small.

we stayed here the end of August 2021 while traveling on our motorcycles. Didn't expect too much from a Quality Inn but was proven wrong. The place smelled like it had just been cleaned and the women at the front desk was very helpful. The room was pretty nice. The bathroom can use some updating but it was clean. It had motorcycle parking out front and rags at the front door to wipe down your bikes. It's in a central location for a lot of the major rides in TN. we would stay again the next time we are in the area.

Not much for free breakfast here the following morning after we stayed the night . We had to get one on the road. But very cozy. Has fridge and microwave which other hotels don’t have anymore.

Becky the manager is the best. Front desk very helpful and housekeeping too. Recently renovated and very nice. The only thing is on weekends when Tail of the Dragon is getting car enthusiasts and motorcycle travelers ask for a room that is even numbered and on the end of the building, the 16 rooms like 216 to avoid possible noisy guests outside on the other end of the building. Other than that a perfect Quality Inn!

Hotel exceeded expectations. Hotel for the most part was very clean. The staff offered our dogs treats at checkin. Its only 20 minutes from the tail of the dragon!! Only reasons I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is that the hotel doors seem to slam so you can certainly hear people coming and going when they open and close their door. It was really odd. Also the bathroom appeared to have something leaking in the walls and ceiling because there was spots of mold (not sure?) On it. Otherwise it was nice. Id stay again

I stayed at this hotel during a funeral for my grandfather. The rooms were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, but was great, I recommend the strawberry waffles they're amazing!! My daughter spilt a drink all over our bed linens and when I took them down to the front desk and requested a clean set they quickly and with no hesitation gave me a clean set, however when I asked for more towels that morning the young lady (a different one from the night before) at the front desk wasn't very thrilled about having to fetch them for me, which is the only negative remark I have. Overall this hotel is very comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend.

Checked in, went to my room. When I pulled down the sheet and the blanket on my bed, I found that the bottom sheet had a large yellow stain on it. I don't know about anybody else, but to me that says either they put dirty sheets on a bed or they didn't bother changing the bed or they never washed the sheets. Of course there was no available staff to change the sheets, so I had to put them on the bed myself.

Family of 4. We stayed for a weekend. Was good until we found out they weren't serving eggs or biscuits for the breakfasts. When sleeping sounds from behind the building kept us up a little. Beds were comfortable and was clean. Internet fast of course. And the customer service is good but found out later [it's a dry county].....had to drive to the nearest towns to get any type of alcohol and the only place for BBQ was closed [the BBQ place is NOT open the weekend of the Cheoah River release].

Great hotel for the area. Very clean. No complaints. They have a fire pit, and seating area around it, in front of the hotel. Set up to be accommodating to motorcyclists, since that is a big tourist draw in the warmer months. Quite a few motorcycle-only parking spots right in front in a visible, well-lit area. There is a rack with towels on it by the front door, which I assume is for motorcyclists to use for wiping the dew off their bikes in the morning. Breakfast was bagels, fresh fruit, danishes, cereal. I think there was yogurt and waffles too. Walking distance to a grocery store, Subway, and some other places.

Updated and very clean. Lots of very soft pillows on comfortable beds. Quiet, even on Memorial Day weekend. Continental breakfast was ample (the coffee was very weak) and there's a waffle maker! Parking for motorcycles and room for trailers as hotel guests can use the parking lot in front of the business next door

Beautiful lobby and rooms. Wood look tile in pet friendly room I stayed in. Also was accessible room with large walk in shower with padded bathing bench inside. Breakfast room nice. No gravy and biscuits, but had boiled eggs and microwaveable sausage biscuit dual packets. A little short on parking spaces, but overall very nice, comfortable stay.

I booked a 2 night stay through choice hotels. I was supposed to receive a discount on the 2nd night but was charged the regular rate. Manager tried to fix the error but was unable to. Was told to call Choice hotels and see if I could get refunded. The tv was stuck on 1 channel both days and manager did not try to fix at all. 2 adults staying 2nights and were only given 3 bath towels. The 2nd day was given stained towels that were meant for motorcycle wipe downs.Have stayed at this hotel before and it was great. Hope this was a fluke, but a little disappointed.

I've worked for the hospitality industry for 10+ years (Hyatt, Caesar and Choice) and this is my perspective. This is a small town privately owned hotel who carries the Quality Inn flag, which it should be a EconoLodge (at the most) due to the amenities and operating mode presented. Hotel is well located and has recently (1-2yrs) been remodeled. Room was clean yet smelled like a locker room. Beds were comfortable (Choice standard). Poor shower water pressure yet comfortably hot. This place does not have enough parking spaces, it's ridiculous. I was told by Front Desk Clerk to park at the handicap parking spot of thrift shop next door because of it. 3-11 Front Desk Clerk was polite and friendly, but poorly trained and was constantly in the back room on her phone. Choice Privilege Rewards practices do not apply here. No special parking, complementary upgrades or welcoming amenities. It's almost November of 2021 and management is still taking advantage of COVID regulations and not serving a continental breakfast, only make it yourself waffles and ready to go items. Nothing here, but the location and lack of options, justifies the nearly $200 dollar per night on a standard double queen. This review is for customers, like myself, that don't want to be negatively surprised at check-in.To the FD Staff: Please don't bother to respond to this review with your copy and paste response model signed "Hotel Manager". That practice is offensive, shows disrespect for the customer as well as lack of desire and commitment on improving the quality of the product and service offered by your business. Just take that minute to reflect on and take action on applying better business practices.
