Brandon was awesome . His attitude and energy was exactly the boost I needed after driving around trying to find something to do late on a Sunday. (Nothing was open) ..I have to come back down the end of May . Hopefully this time things will be open around town. But I know where I will be stopping. Hope to get that same welcoming and uplifting feeling.

This Sheetz advertises itself with billboards on the highway miles away but has a limited gas selection. There are no especially economic fuel mixtures sold here.Ethanol-free fuel is the only exceptional option, but this variety is more expensive and offers nothing to the average commuter or traveller. For those whose vehicles demand it, presumably it is of note.Expect the standard amenities of a Sheetz inside.

Absolutely disgusting.I've never seen a Sheetz this bad. The trash outside was overflowing and blowing around on the ground. Inside, the restrooms appeared to have not been serviced in quite a while. There was no tissue in either stall, paper and fecal matter on the floor, and what I hope was spit on the floor of the other stall.No hand towels, either.The floors in the main area were filthy, as was the entry carpet.Management should be ashamed.DO NOT eat at this location.

11-16-20 These video are 3 years old and i never showed these until today :) I been coming to this sheetz since 2017! Sheetz Carrys 3 Exclusive Mountain Dew Flavors in the Fountain machine that i am unable to get here in Jacksonville, Florida. (where i live) The flavor names are Mountain Dew Goji Citrus Strawberry, Mountain Dew Atomic Blue, And Mountain Dew Pitch Black! This store carrys all 3 and i manage to bring back home 30+ bottles back of these drinks :) I had to try the food because a lot of people said the food is good, and it way better then wawa. I tried the food and it is not bad, it is sorta the same level as wawa imo, However the food is still good! The staff at this location is nice!! they let me stay at the seat they have outside while i drink my sodas that they have inside the store :). Basically Sheetz is like a bar for me with my 3 Moutain Dew Flavors :)! If you like to try them out i suggest give it a try and this store is 1000000 Star Rating!!!

Nice location with decent gas prices but I’ve seen a significant drop in service level and cleanliness over the past 3 years. Examples: On the outside, garbage bins not emptied and none of the windshield cleaning buckets / cleaners have any liquid in them. They are now used by people to dump their garbage. On the inside, ordering food usually takes way too long and the people doing the cooking don’t have a sense of urgency. They are usually standing there with their back turned to you. Body language says, “I hate my job”. There’s more to say but you get the idea. In reading other poor reviews over the past 1-2 years, I see a generic response from Sheetz Owner saying “thanks for your feedback….” So does feedback help you improve things? I think not. This all comes down to poor management!

Love Sheetz! Stopped here on our way through to Virginia to get some fuel for us and our car. Their gas prices are always some of the best. Love that the stores are clean and well lit and they always seem to have just what you need to get on down the road.

As a frequent customer, I am utterly disgusted and disappointed with the lack of service. Food is constantly being prepared poorly and incorrectly and on top of that, the wait times are outlandish, resulting in all of the food being cold. Customer service is nonexistent and I am starting to feel that these individuals aren't even being trained.

Went there to get my free Vet. Day sub, drink and car wash.After I waited about 15 minutes I notice they only had 1 young lady working in the kitchen area. Now this was at lunch time. She kept her cool and was doing orders. Got my meal and it was great. That girl needs a promotion.

(21 minutes) from the time I ordered to the time I received my coffee. The lack of any urgency from any of the employees shows an issue with management that fails to inspire their employees to do the best every day and try to improve on it. And if that was the employees best, then they are better off employed elsewhere. The food industry is a fast paced world and those that can't keep up with that pace need to find something they can handle. If it was them who had to wait, the feelings would be the same.

Literally waited over 45 minutes TWICE when the food was already ready. Was simply waiting for the food to be handed over that was already paid for. Poor customer service and no adequate solutions to manage peak hours. Orders wrong, service wrong. 0/10.

I guess I'm going to have to find another place to get my fountain drinks and snacks during my break....1st drink out then was told I could use my cc #without the card then supervisor said no. Ok but what was the rudest thing when I asked how long would it take to change it the SUPERVISOR just walks away even the cashier was embarrassed.

This is the dirtiest Sheetz I have visited. Every trash can in the parking lot was full and overflowing at 9:30 in the morning. The inside was no better with the floors littered with trash and the bathroom trash was no better than the ones in the parking lot.

Gotta say it's very annoying to order a seasonal shake and it only comes in small size. Why can it not come in a large as well? I can only get a large if it's not a seasonal or special shake?

This store is not the Sheetz I know. We were traveling through the area on a road trip and saw this Sheetz on the map but when we saw the reviews we actually opted to stop here just to see if any of it was really true. Well... yes, the poor reviews are accurate. No toilet paper in the men's room (except what was on the floor), the store was dirty and trash was overflowing everywhere. Anyone who is a regular at Sheetz knows this is not the norm. Unsure if there is a staffing issue or management issue but Sheetz needs to step in and figure this one out.

I used to work for sheetz for 18 years in pa when stan and Steve rode stores frequently. Since they are somewhat out of the picture stores have gone waaaaaaaay down hill with cleanliness, attitudes, and just plain customer service. I loved my job and too bad it ended the way it did but the managers in the stores further out from corporate are a joke. Guess i was brought up with higher expectations! This store and especially the one in Rocky Mount North Carolina are terribly dirty and disgusting. The gm definitely isn't professional at all and needs some coaching from higher ups and not worry about her makeup and hairdos all day getting messed up

Waited in line for 20 min for just a grilled cheese and fries. No one even acknowledged us at the drive thru window. Line of cars behind us.. we ended up just driving off. We just left and it's 2343hrs now. So glad I didn't pay via the app. The workers are rude and inconsiderate. I realize they may be busy but they could have at least acknowledged the people in the drive thru. I'll be with you in a moment or something. the lady working the counter kept coming near the window to pick up cigarettes, it would have been nothing for her to at least wave to let us know she knows we were waiting and she was aware but she straight ignored the window.

I was going to stop here but looks like dirty reviews are a consistent theme. Passing this place up! Easy to maintain a clean place when employees care. Typically they care when paid a living wage and treated with dignity.

We stopped here on our way to SC on 12/10/21 at 1:15pm. We have stopped at many Sheetz over the years because we appreciate the options they offer while traveling. However, I can't say anything about the options at the one in Roanoke Rapids. Because, as usual, we pulled up to the gas pumps and planned to go in and order food. But when we pumped regular gas, which we have done FOR YEARS, and was charged a premium price, our plans changed. My husband went in and explained what happened to the manager who chose to hand us the customer service number and said there was nothing more she could do. Now, for us, it was an additional 8 or 9 dollars but I'm sure if this is a normal practice of the Sheetz in Roanoke Rapids, that store manager is really showing some profits on there gas sales. Merry Christmas, Scrooge!

I have to stop coming in the ghetto tail store. Shonta let 3 customers stand in line for 10 minutes. She didn't open her register until she saw somebody she knew. Very horrible le customer service but it always has been. Hire people who aren't jealous of other females and don't want to wait on them. Food help make ve hard to find but yall but definitely Sheetz need to do better.

I normally love Sheetz. We were traveling and went several miles out our our way to stop at this store. The store was dirty. No toilet paper or paper towels in bathroom other than the ones thrown on the floor. Drinks had been spilled on floor and not mopped up by the soda fountain. Food service was slow and they did not seem to be understaffed at the time, so not sure what the problem was.

The ladies in the MTO kitchen were very helpful. The fries were excellent. Brandon at checkout was fabulous. He greeted me when I came in and he was very sweet when I paid.

Second time this week I’ve gone to this place and they not had change. The first cashier didn’t even say anything, she just short changed me. Tonight the girl did say something but didn’t seem to understand how me paying more for something than I’m supposed to is stealing. Manager rather issue refund than to get the proper change. The customer service was already bottom off the barrel but now they’ve actually started stealing your change, as if the corporation isn’t rich enough...I really miss living in the city where convenience and good customer service were easier to experience. If you can, avoid shopping here.

Should have looked at the reviews before I stopped here while traveling. The restrooms were absolutely, disgustingly dirty. Then they did not have the correct change and cashier seemed confused as to what to do other than not give me any change. If there is a Sheetz in the area that is usually where I stop. but won't be stopping at this one in the future.

I usually love Sheetz, I spent years in field sales and always stopped at them because they always have clean bathrooms. This one was a mess. The manager came in and said they’d been in there 4 times in the last 4 hrs. Was gonna cut them a break on it. Then I ordered a smoothie and an iced coffee. When we paid the cashier seemed surprised to see the ticket. Then as I walked over to wait for it- someone else just said their computer wasn’t showing the order so they couldn’t do it and had to refund me. It had been less than a minute since I paid! They didn’t even try to figure out the order without the computer which they easily could have done. They also just gave me an even amount of cash with no receipt for the refund. Not even sure they gave me the right amount. Went to get one of the f’real smoothies instead- machine was broken. The trash at every single pump was overflowing. Even the trash cans walking into the store were overflowing

This is one of the dirtiest convenience stores I have ever been to. Food on the floors, counters dirty and your feet literally stick to the floor on the fountain drink area. This is not from 1 bad night, it is the same each time I stop there.

Me fiancee and I were traveling from PA to SC and figured we would stop in quick and get some food and gas since we have Sheetz back home in PA. Ordered the food perfectly fine. About 20 minutes after ordering they tell us they don't have some of the stuff we want and never offered a refund since this cost money. Finally after around 30 minutes we received our order, go to sit down in our car only to find out we were missing items from our order also. Needless to say a quick pit stop turned into about a 45 minute endevour and set us back on our trip also. Will not be returning to this location anytime soon.
