This was a waste of time. I'm used to seeing high prices, but there's high prices and there's laughable. High prices on great items is one thing, but prices on some of these items just made me wonder, "WHY?!" I would have left with nothing if the entire store was 50% off.Looks like the business may be for sale.

Many of the items are over priced. They do not negotiate on the spot. The lady that runs the shop is not the owner of the items. This is a consignment shop but she is always willing to take your number and call the owners for you. I would give it 5 stars too if they would be more realistic with the pricing. Maybe let the owners of the goods know that they need to come down and give them some negotiating room. I have had my eye on a piece for over a year and they still won't haggle with me. I even pulled up same items on eBay to show them it's over priced. They would rather it sit there for years. They have some really cool stuff though. They wanted $17 for this fire king dish I posted a photo of. It's worth about $8 because of the condition.

There were many beautiful vintage and antique items but all were way overpriced. My husband is always looking at and some times for cast iron pieces, mostly cookware made by BSR, Griswold, and Wagner but not limited to. He is not an expert but he deals with a few and knows a good bit himself. He found several items that according to cast iron experts/serious collectors should have costed far less especially given the shape they were in. Pieces that were rusted and heavily pitted were costing between $125-200 when anybody who knows this stuff knows it goes for $40-60 in its best condition unless it is an extremely rare piece which there aren't many of. It's a place to visit but not shop. I would give it five stars if you just want to look.

Wonderful jumbly, mixed up place to poke around in, with some real treasures hidden here and there. The saleslady was quite knowledgable. Prices posted are NOT bargains. I didn't buy anything. I might if they're willing to negotiate. I would definitely go again just for the experience...I like looking at old stuff.
