It's a great community stop for supplies. It's wheelchair accessible, there's a tremendous selection regardless of what your looking for regarding groceries. Employees and managers are always friendly and helpful. I only wished they opened before 7am.

This would be my local grocery store(weekly visits). Friendly staff but sometimes lines get long with only 2 registered for 10 plus customers. Great place for produce and great prices.

Cashier 0202 seemed to be having a terrible day for the second time this month. I understand hiring young associates, but if you're having a attitude and/or bad day please leave it at home. Overall store is always clean and like always stocked with the best priced items.

Absolutely love all Food Lions located in Laurinburg, Pembroke, Maxton, Lumberton(3 locations) and St. Pauls. Always clean, well stocked/organized and great customer service. My go to for ALL fresh vegetables, meats (steak, chicken, seafood), coffee, cereal & sodas.

Melissa is the manager of the store on 5th Street. She is absolutely wonderful, the sweetest and most friendly person that I have ever met, being in charge of a store. She always cares about the customers and willing to help. Always make a person feel like they are special it doesn't matter what their situation is, rich or poor she expects all her workers to treat every person who walks into Food Lion as if they were royalty. My family loves this special lady.

I was just in store. Older customer needed help with trac phone because she had just bought card to put minutes on phone. Cashier Ms. Celeste offered to help once she cleared everyone out of her line. Awesome service and clean store. Great job

This is like the 4th Food lion I've reviewed lately. My family & I have been traveling a little & have visited a few different cities & states the last few months. The thing we've come to realize is that in most every case if you've seen one you've seen them all, what's been an issue with this McDonald's has also been an issue with the other McDonald's in towns over. That's a good thing for food lion because we've not had any problems or any complaints for any of them in any town. They are all small enough for my antisocial, shy very introverted little family but just big enough to have all the name brand & the many different varieties we like. They have the best prices next to Walmart & nowhere near the crowd or extremely long lines I'd rather not stand in next to my 6year old son with the absolute worst adhd so for so many reasons food lion will always be my family's very first choice of grocery stores & we'll continue recommend it to anyone else we meet.

I love shopping at Pembroke's Food Lion. I can run in and get whatever I need quick. The employees are very courteous and friendly. I never mind using their bathroom because they are always tidy.

Clean meat area fresh do not stink is always being stocked ,the produce area is clean but now 1 thing about grapes arnt always the best I do miss that because the last gentleman that was the produce manager mad sure he kept the bags checked and removed ,and there deli is very clean don't ever go in there myself and have a problem with facing what I want sliced, and they have a better BIRTHDAY CAKE . THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE IS HAVING TO SEE THE LADIES HAVING.TO GO OUTSIDE AND GET BUGGIES WHEN THEY HAVE YOUNG MEN THAT CAN DO THAT.

It was the worst experience I have ever encountered The Dark skin assistant male manger was very rude to customers and disrespectful remarks towards towards older people when asked questions about fruit... He told them if you don't like the price then go to the Piggly Wiggly and go there if you don't like the prices of our fruit this manager was totally rude disrespectful very rude and professional

The fruit was literally molded or browning. The raspberries were covered in mold as well as the blue berries. The lettuce was rotting the grapes were browning and mushy. The ice cream coolers were not stocked. There were lots of blank spots on the shelves.
