Lady was helpful, but over charged us on the sticker price for our items. Lots to buy for Cruiser's like provisions, gear, fixes, souvenirs, games, books, lines, kitchenware, and maps/waterway guides. Masks were provided since we forgot ours.They also have a changing room if you need to try something on. Just check to make sure the receipt adds up equal to the tag price.

Want to know about the area? Come into this store and you'll find all your shopping needs but also a feel for the area. Boating needs, maps, recommendations on how to spend your day, some healthy grocery options, touristy gifts, a cubby with an explanation of why dragon imagery is throughout the town... I left with a much better idea of the area and where to spend my time in town. Friendly people shopping and working there. Oh there's also a book swap area in the back corner. It's great.

Great local shop for marine supplies and gear and other sundries. I was looking for good foul weather gear and only place in area with any in stock. Had what I was looking for.

I'm a sailor doing some work on my boat. This store is a huge asset. Not only do they have a great selection of items I need, the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I have come to rely on them for good advice about how to proceed on my projects. Their support is worth a huge amount and their camaraderie is priceless.

Female worker assaults customers with the entry door and shoves them out on the street, literally.Inland Provision mask "policy" is not law and assault is -in fact- illegal.Btw, Governor Cooper has included mask exemptions in all Executive Orders pertaining to masks. This store is failing to follow Cooper's guidelines.You are not "trespassing" until a law enforcement officer officially does the formality.CV cases are not going up in Pamlico County past the previous highs. Cases are very low and those could very easily be people who are vaccinated and totally symptom-free. See attached graph of NC DHHS most current data.If CV cases *were going up, it is not a retail employees job to FORCE medical devices onto people as they are not Healthcare professionals and should not provide medical advice to patients.What kind of world do we live in when we slam doors on people and allow incorrect data to ruin our lives with fear ?Click on GRAPH to see weekly cases.

On a quick visit to Oriental my family was near desperate for some gluten free pasta. Our Google search for GROCERY STORES did not inform us of the Inland Waterway Provision Company, but we were lucky to see it while driving past! Theresa was very helpful and eager to accommodate. We will be back, for sure!

I am continuously impressed at the selection they somehow manage to keep in this storespace. If they don't have it they will get it, and have been able to magically track down some really obscure parts for our French-made boat. The prices are competitive even with the online stores and the folks are friendly, even the dog is welcomed.

Great Shoppe. Was in town visiting my family. We stop by and were able to find some great Oriental NC souvenirs to take back to VA. They also have a grand selection of nautical gear for sea worthy vessels.😎👍👍

The store is fabulous. A bit of everything & it's all great quality. Groceries to boat parts & t-shirts, they have it all. This is the second dinghy we've purchased from them. As before, good deal, on time delivery and an absolutely fantastic staff. Cruiser or tourist, this is a great place to stop in. Got some fabulous fresh picked blueberries too.

The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They carry 3 brands of inflatable boats: AB, Achilles, and Highfield; and all three brands are excellent quality boats. The store itself offers a wide variety of provisions for boaters (boat parts, lines, some grocery items, etc. -- even beer!), as well as local souvenirs. It is a "must stop" location when visiting Oriental. I encourage all visitors to stop in and check it out!

A GREAT store in Oriental! We spent 6 months dealing with boat issues and COVID. The Provision Store provided ordered parts, boat stuff, local foods, meat and local knowledge. Service was professional. Staff was friendly. Laughs and smiles were plentiful. A GREAT shop in Oriental that deserves a Ten!

I gave this store a one-star review because I found the staff member working the counter rude and severely lacking customer service skills. It's unfortunate to see a small business owner treat a customer with such poor service after purchasing an item from their store.

Amazing waterfront store! Has various marine supplies (good selection, though not exhaustive), food items (staples plus esoteric things like curry powders and fancy olives), craft beers, and funny t-shirts and other tchotchkes. Incredibly friendly people who are full of advice and information for travelers.

So im a sailor and enjoy visiting small towns like this one. Last night i went to the tiki bar and met some great people. I asked about this store and was told to stay away if I have a problem wearing a mask. I took note to this and today, after having a great cup of coffee at the bean, decided i would test the waters and see how this store is. As soon as i went to walk in, I couldn't help but notice all the signs and warnings on wearing a mask. To be kind and respectful, I decided to use one of their masks that they provide because I don't carry one on me. I put the mask on as asked of me and started to shop. Even though I had my mask on, the lady asked me to please put it over my nose. I kindly responded that I can't breath with the mask over my nose and that I was kind enough to wear one in the first place. This lady decided that this was not good enough for her expectations and told me to leave and that I am trespassing. This was expected due to the locals advice I got the night before. It is so sad that a mask has divided us americans. I respect everyone's right to wear a mask, why can't people respect my right not to. Also , I put the mask on even though I don't believe in them and still was trying to be controlled by another human. So sad. Needless to say, I will not be spending any of my hard earned money at this establishment due to their neglect of respect of other peoples rights. Other than this place, oriental has shown me great hospitality and is a warm community of great people. Too bad this store does not follow suite.

My water heater decided to stop working and these folks helped me get a new one for a great price quick. Also really like that they enforced mask wearing back during peak covid. So many people coming and going in boats best to be safe by following scientific information.

This company is customer service oriented. Very friendly staff. Extremely helpful in finding what you need. If they don't have what you want on hand, they can have it in just a day or so. Their prices are competitive, and typically less than the other marine suppliers in the area.Located right next to the harbour. A short walk from the docks.

Mail Order Boats???They sold me a beautiful Highfield Inflatable at a great price and delivered it to Maryland. It included a Garmin GPS and all the paperwork to give me the Title etc.. Thank you so much!!

Neat little store that has all sorts of boating stuff, craft bears, consignment items, local souvenir stuff... The list goes on. If ya need something, you may just find it here. If you don't need anything, stop by anyways; you may just find something you couldn't live without.

Nice place to wander the shelves and find that thing you didn't know you needed. A small consignment area has bits and pieces that just might hold the solution for that problem that just sprung up!

I won’t shop here ever again! This pictures placed around the store and signs that say “put your damn mask on” was a little over the top for any business. Masked are required and priced at the door, we don’t need to see these signs placed ever three feet!
