I was in the Dollar General in Oriental, NC last night about 8:00pm on 1-14-24 Sunday, when myself and my family witnessed a young girl at the register and an older lady. The older lady was talking down to the young girl and brought her to tears. I myself do not care to see something like that in the store. That was very unprofessional of the older woman, If I happen to visit that store again and that older woman is there I will more than likely turn back around and walk out. That lady needs training in not to do something like that in front of costumers.

I love having Dollar General fairly close by. They have a wide variety of merchandise which is always changing. The employees are friendly and helpful. It is so nice and convenient to be able to buy a loaf of bread, cleaning products, greeting cards, and many other items, without having to drive farther. Parking is convenient as it is directly in front of the store. I highly recommend Dollar General in Oriental.

The manager & great staff are very pleasant to everyone. They always greet you with a smile & are very helpful .. unlike other dollar generals I've been to. Just wish they would carry gallons of spring water & more stuff for a new home. Towels dishes etc.

I feel I was scammed by an advertisement for $5 off of $25, which is a coupon I use regularly at DG. however, the fine print said you could only use it for very minimal amount of certain cleaning items. So I drove there, basically, for nothing, which is very frustrating. I don't like to feel tricked.

Patiently waited on a customer in front of me buying groceries, when finally finished the clerk running the register walks away and starts a conversation with someone in the store, customer service a thing of the past, always treated far better in the Grantsboro store anyway , so I'll just take my money there from now on. Corporate needs to train Oriental stores clerks on how to treat a customer....

The Dollar General in Arapahoe is neat and usually well stocked. The staff is pleasant and helpful.
