Visited my Tractor Supply in Hickory, NC today for the 1st time and I think is a fantastic store. They had everything I needed and made notes for next time since they have exactly what I need for my next 2 projects. They had a great selection of bird seed and suet for all of my bird feeders I use in my yard. The selection of hanging ferns was nice as well and the quality of the plants was outstanding. /they were well watered and looked very healthy. I will surely be back with in a few weeks to get my next batch of items i need. Highly recommend....the employees were quite helpful as well today helping me get what I need and to point out exactly where to go.

Bought 10x10 cover top for my dog and I did not signup for phone number or email as my family and I are not a regular customer. We have live here for over 20+ years and have been here 3 times. I needed my top replace since it tore down the middle and it’s been less than a year. First time I called, the man was very helpful and found my receipt in 10 mins and said he would leave it at the front desk. I couldn’t come in until a few days later and the receipt was no longer there.Based on the sku # that I gave for the cover top, it shouldn’t have been a big deal to find it. I can’t imagine them selling over 20 cover tops in the last 6 months but they couldn’t find it. I remember I bought weed barrier with the cover too and they found the receipt based on the weed barrier sku#. The lady at the front desk was rude and kept pushing me to sign up for store promotions and give my phone number to make this easier. Said that they don’t have time to normally to do this.I admit it was my fault for not being able to remember when I bought the cover top and which card I used, but who does? That’s why I called in the first place.

Specifically drove to the Newton store even though it’s not the closest specifically because they have a dog washing station. It will be my one and only trip there for that. There are 2 tubs in the room, one was out of order and the room was disgustingly dirty. All the brushes and scrubber tools were covered in dog hair. It said they provide waterproof aprons but there were none to be found. The floor was so dirty, our dog’s feet were muddy leaving the room. Will not go back there.

Come here to groom and wash my small dog. Paid my 10.00 and brought my own clippers. Then a lady walked in and said no clipping dogs. Just wash. Done this before here. No issues till today. I will never return. This is own there websitestations?Your wash includes the use of our professional grade grooming equipment and supplies, including: elevated wash bays, grooming tables, specialty shampoos, brushes combs and towels, professional grade dryers and a waterproof apron for use (for the inevitable post-wash shake!)

WOW! I JUST SAVED $22 TODAY (compared to Lowe's) ON THIS 50' ROLL OF GREEN VINYL-COATED 2x3" WIRE FENCING!!! That's a lot of lettuce for just one item! They had it on sale for 15% off. Regular Price was still $10 less! I also bought two strings of Christmas lights with 150 LED multi-colored bulbs on each one for just $19. They look great . . . I got it because my dog had colitis and constipation from cheaper dog food. He's much improved already in just 5 days!Also picked up a 16' pole pruner for tree trimming, a heavy red and black flannel shirt, and some pants (both on sale for 20% off). I normally have very positive experiences with TSC, but usually do business at another location. I went in with a mower belt that needed replaced and the "gentleman" that I first encountered didn't have a "measuring tape" to help determine the length of the belt and was in no way inclined to try to locate one. I have bought replacement belts at other locations and have been able to do so without a problem as long as I had the belt with me.

Won’t be back, weekly I bring dogs to be washed. Been well over a year and only 1 tub works, tables are falling apart, and it’s always a wreck. Usually have to sweep before I can use it. Go to Lenior or drive across the state before wasting your time here.

Super disappointed in RX online pet med helpline. One word, rude. Just cancelled my order. Will go somewhere else. Also, we need some American made items in our so called American farm store. Cute clothes but literally everything China made. :(

I bought a trailer to pull my mower for my business and the trailer after only a month it was defective. Without hesitation, tractor supply was there for me. They replaced my trailer with a new one and had me back mowing in no time. Catherine the manager was very helpful and was there for us when we needed her, she is an asset to the company and should be promoted for her stellar customer service. I recommend tractor supply to anyone who is looking for anything and I want to say thank you to Catherine and to the company for having their customers backs.

We went to pick up some fencing and Holly helped us out, she even got us through the issue when her register quit working. Thank goodness she was there, she saved the day to get us out of there timely and loaded up. This was on a busy Saturday, 4/16/22 around 5 pm.

We went to the store at last minute as they were closing, needing two houses for our dogs because the cold got worse and we wanted to have a better solution. They allowed us to enter and make the purchase and helped us during the process. Both houses didn’t fit in my Jeep, so I had to take one first and return to pick up the other one. The employees stayed there with my brother until I went back for the second house. It was an adventure and I appreciate that they made it possible for us. As soon as I saw on their website that the price was much cheaper than other local stores, we decided to go. Go to this store and you will see that you will save more money, you will receive a better customer service. We have chosen to come to this store on several occasions, and we have bought things much cheaper than the competitors.

Excellent customer service. Employees are readily available to help customers find what they need. They offer a variety of products from lawn care & gardening to pet & farm supplies, hunting & fishing products to camping & grilling products, automotive & tools, flashlights, knives, clothing, books, toys, and more!! Store is very neat and clean. It is also well-organized. They also have vaccinations for your pets and a veterinary clinic on Saturdays!! Really neat place...

The young girl at the front desk was great. The rest was a joke. My husband called three hours ago and they promised they would put the fencing back we needed. It didn’t get put back and we only got half or less of what we needed. It also took 15 minutes or more just to get that information and to get the last bundle of fence they had.

I really enjoy going to tractor supply but for the life of me I don't understand why they never have enough cashier's scheduled for the weekends. Also why is it that the male employees don't want to help out with the registersThe lady at the register is so patient and nice. I am a good customer and continue to go hoping that it might be better. I really don't want to go to another store

My girlfriend ordered a Black & Decker cordless leaf blower/string trimmer combo online.She later received a notification that her order was at the store and ready to pick up. Her account was debited at this time.When we got to the store, they did not have her item. They told her it was available in Lenoir (a 30 minute drive, minimum) and that she was welcome to drive there and get it.She asked for a refund.The lady then attempted to tell her that the money is not taken until the item is picked up. Since we can read a bank statement, we knew this to be incorrect.Then the lady claimed the refund would be issued by end of day. This turned out to be false as well.So we called back today and spoke to the manager. He informed her that she was mistaken and none of the above had happened.So we called the bank to stop payment and strangely enough, the banker had the same experience.So to recap:A store is missing 2 units at $90 from inventory and the manager says it is not his fault.My girlfriend is out $90 until her bank can process the stop payment.Tractor supply employees and managers are not aware of their own policies or procedures.And finally, any company that would suggest a customer can drive themselves to a store in another county rather than offering to have the item brought to that store needs to go under.

This past weekend, my family and I were at a lake house on Lake Lookout for the weekend and at 8:30pm on a Saturday night—our trailer axle broke for our boat at a public access boat ramp. We live an hour away, had no family close by and this store was the only place remotely close with trailer axles. Conveniently, our GPS said we would get there 5 minutes after closing time. We called in desperate need of the axle they had in stock and all but begged for them to stay open an extra 5 minutes. The manager and her young male employee (I didn’t even catch names in such a tizzy) stayed for us to scramble around to find some bolts and the right axle and we are so grateful they did! They were a blessing to us in a crazy mess of a night! Customer service is what keeps customers and they had it that night!! Great work, and thanks again!

Went to the newton location. Cashier was very friendly. Was very easy to find what we were looking for. After we checked out he helped us load our feed bags into the car and even took the cart back for us. We go there for propane as well, they are the cheapest place i think, there is always someone available to fill up your tank & you never feel like your inconvenienceing them.

I have visited three times in the past few weeks spending a total of $989.75 on fencing supplies. On my 1st visit they tried to give me an extra bundle of 6' T post (loaded it into my vehicle, then had to see my recent because he thought i was wrong for being honest), and I didn't receive any clips to go with the post. On my next visit I purchased 2 rolls of 350' 4" goat wire, the guy only loaded one than said have a good day. I said "I purchased 2 rolls here is my receipt" he didn't even look at it and loaded another one on my trailer. On my 3rd visit I purchased a 6' gate. They looked at my receipt and loaded it. I get home to find out they had given me an 8' gate..... I hate to see how much money these employees are costing the company...

Employees were kind and courteous. I wanted some fertilizer that the website said was in stock. The employee said didn't have the item and don't know why it showed in stock. Didn't bother to check the computer but figured he must have known because he seemed knowledgeable.

Walked around the store for 10 minutes trying to find someone other than the cashier because she had 8 people in line waiting. No one else in the store to help at all! This location definitely needs a better manager with some scheduling skills!

I made a order online for a shielded cylinder cause it was $40 cheaper then the ones thay had there I went to pick it up the guy behind the counter was very rude and seemed like it was a inconvenience because of the online order but if thay would have carried the product in the store I wouldn't have had to order in ONLINE! I was buying all my feed and propane and welding and torch supplies from there till this point now southern states down the road will be selling me feed and propane and as fare as my welding/torch supplies go there's a northern tool the next light from them thats going to be getting all that
