A couple of people working in the deli where you order hot food to go, I question. They are there to serve, even if people get in their nerves. It can make it break business.The last time I was there, a female made my plate. I couldn't believe it, but she was skimpy with the serving, whereas, prior to, I saw male servers pile food on your to-go plate. Maybe she didn't like me for whatever reason, in which I say, it's a shame.Customer service needs improving. Be fair to everyone whether you like them or not.

Bought some chicken breast here in a larger value pack for $3.99/lb. They didn’t have London broil so I drove down to the other location on M.L.K. next to dollar tree. They had the same exact chicken for $2.99/lb! It’s not a big deal but I will never go to this location again and just drive 2min further to the nicer one (older sign).

Just your typical IGA supermarket, independently owned and operated. But they do the best provide the best that the only game in town is still freshly cuts meat, that the only game in town that you can order a whole pig or half a pig. And looking at the pictures they must have come into a big water money cuz I've never seen your meat cases so full. Stores always need and clean a little bit crowded but that's because they're trying to stock as much product for the customer and a small footprint. Prices have gone up, example 1/2 gal of milk $2.49 Walmart $1.87

Great to know they keep butchers on hand, that all of the big chains have done away with and made them all meat stokers slowly becoming a dying skill, for the love of money. This is what I done with the meat. 7/8/22The meat prices are way up now, and they are keeping the meat case so full now.

Hi went into the store to purchase ribs. The store was neat and clean. The ribs were on sale which made my day as well. Overall good service at the register as well. If you need good service and great deals give Piggly Wiggly a try. You will be glad you did.

It’s about what you would expect. Outdated, small, and overpriced. It’s at least clean and no expired dates on products that I could see. Serves hot meals and great selections on raw meats. Don’t expect good customer service; just be glad you’ll find someone that’s working a register. They never seem to have anyone working customer service counter. I normally go there when I’m grabbing just a few things. I don’t hate it but not a go to for grocery shopping.

This store the moral is awful the cashier's an some of the people in front it's like they have no personality no smiles no laugher no cheerfulness. It made me an my husband absolutely depressed feeling when we were there.their is a black gentleman in the deli that wears a gold cross necklace an glasses he's always so kind an professional. We just love speaking to him when he serves us our food.thank you so much

If you left the house in a hurry for work and forgot to have breakfast stop by their breakfast is awesome multiple things to choose from hot and fresh. They also do lunch same deal hot and fresh store made. I've never had anything from their hot Deli that I did not like.

This place is amazing. The manager mr. Danny is very very helpful. He is very knowledgeable about what is in his store where it is at. He will go and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. Evidently he is a great judge of character because all his employees are very nice they will also go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. He makes that an amazing experience to shop as long as I'm in the New Bern area I will never shop at another grocery store in this case the price doesn't matter the service is outstanding I love this store is is my go-to for everything food and the deli section is amazing

They definitely are the meat 🍖 store. Has a butcher on had to cut any meat that you need sliced or cut. Any meat you are looking for can be found here!

Edit to add- they close at 9 now on weekdays not 10. I love how they walk you to your car and assist with putting your groceries in your car. I have used their check cashing service, without issue, many times. They have the best meat selection around and a great selection of produce. I suggest joining their loyalty program to earn rewards and to get your receipt digitally.

I understand that food prices are ridiculously high but I was disappointed with my visit on this particular date.The Pick $25 (formerly known as Pic $20) section was literally 5 feet long in the meat department. When someone goes out of their way to savings that aren't there..... Tsk tsk tsk.

If you watch their weekly flyer, they have some really great deals on their meat. The shelves are always stocked well and the store associates are very friendly. They even are more than willing to carry your parcels to your car.

Hey its still a favorite for quick groceries. Friendly staff, huge meat selection, good pricing... (And when I say huge meat selection, I mean huge. When everyone else is down to a few packs of whatever... this place still has it falling off the shelves and cheaper too.) What's not to love. I'll keep going and never think twice about it.

Far prefer the outstanding service, even if I have to spend a few cents more to get it. They actually bag your groceries and take them to your vehicle for you instead of shuttling you to a self-service aisle. My new permanent grocery shopping venue...

I enjoy shopping the piggly wiggly. The butchers are very knowledgeable and more than willing to assist in fulfilling your desired cut of meat order. They are not the only employees and everyone in the store are very knowledgeable and courteous. They are trained for customer service by the owner. Danny has had over 30+ years in the grocery business and I can tell (you treat the customers as you would like to be treated).

My home store (Kroger) back in Indiana, could take a lesson. Piggly Wiggly, you were the high point of my trip!
