Traveling out of state is never easy when you need to board your pup, but A Dog's Dream had been an excellent choice for us. They made sure our dog, Journey had a good week, paying her lots of attention because she obviously missed her human family. Roxanne especially was knowledgeable and was great in answering my daily checking in on Journey. She was the best! Even checking out was a breeze with friendly people. All in all they made our vacation and hers less stressful and enjoyable. We will be sure to come back again and have recommended A Dog's Dream to local friends.

Love this place! ❤️This is the only place I will go to when I travel from New York to visit.Dan the owner, Laura & the rest of the staff are very kind hearted people who truly care about the dogs.Highly recommend bringing your dogs here! We have a mini golden doddle and yesterday was his first time going to A Dogs Dream. Manny did an excellent job on his cut! everyone was so nice and we could not be more happy with our experience. The place was nice and clean as well.Jax and his parents thank you all so much!

Boarding my pup overnight was a breeze. They did a good job of bathing her. It wasn’t that expensive either. I will definitely be returning when I need to again. Had an easy experience with a shy but hyper doggy.

We are currently at a pet industry show in Vegas and while visiting a booth my Bulldog noticed a man holding a giant orange monkey toy. I asked the booth rep how we could get one of the monkeys as my dog was staring intensely at the gentleman holding it. She told us it was the last one but she could send one with our order. The gentleman walked over and gave it to my dog. I looked at his name tag and it was the owner of A Dog’s Dream. Dan, thank you for making my dogs day. He loves the toy and your kindness means so much. I can tell you the owner of this company really loves dogs to give up such an awesome toy that I’m sure his dogs would have loved to make my little Bulldog so happy.

I love this place! My puppy goes there everyday of the week while I work. The staff is always nice and they know my pup by name. I trust them because he is happy going in and wags his tail and is excited to see the staff. When it is time to come home he is so tired from a day of fun. He has a chance to play with other pups his size. I can tell he has had a great time and they spend time with him as well and I feel he is safe. I remember when I decided to sign him up there and they did a meet and greet just to make sure he would be able to get a long with other dogs which means they care about everyone's pet and their well-being. I don't know what I would do without them, thank you for taking care of my fur baby.

My husband and I absolutely love A Dog’s Dream! We can go to work and have full faith and confidence that our dog is being taken care of. The people at A Dog’s Dream are so friendly, welcoming, and truly care about our dog’s well-being. They are always extremely accommodating. There is no other Day Care that we would take him to! Update: I’ve talked with several staff members regarding the situation and they have done absolutely everything possible to remedy the situation. They insisted on a full refund even after I told them it was not necessary. They even got in contact with my vet to cover any possible expenses. One staff member in particular reached out today for an update on how she’s doing and that was really appreciated.Really wanted to love this place but after the last two boarding sessions I’m just not happy. I boarded for Father’s Day and she had a large scratch on her front leg and I was told they didn’t realize another dog had extremely sharp nails and it happened while they were playing. Okay not a huge deal I’ll book her again. I picked my pup up after boarding for 5 days yesterday and she has had green pus coming out of her eye (I’m sure some sort of infection) since they brought her from the back to me. I was also asked if I wanted to book an exit bath and I said yes because my pup likes to swim in their pool. I go to pick her up yesterday and find out she got her bath the previous day and she had been back in the day play area and got back in the pool. I get it but why did I pay for a bath for her to smell worse leaving than she did when I dropped her off.

A great place to leave your pups. My girls always have a good time when they're here. The employees even follow the special introductions I give them pertaining to my dogs. It means a lot to know that the employees actually play with your dogs. I'll gladly use them again.

Brought my shepherd while I was on vacation and was very impressed with A Dog's Dream. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They even went as far as pampering Sonia with a bath and groom. Definitely suggest going there!

**update**I am changing my review to 5 stars! I received a phone call to personally apologize for the mishap with Daisy’s daycare package expiring and A Dogs Dream more than made it right. Owners explained it was a software issue and they gave me my pre purchased days back. And assured me the days will not expire in the future. Thank you Laura for your professionalism!We purchased multiple days for our dog to stay while we work and were satisfied with the service. Daisy developed Kennel Cough and the vet said not to take her back for a while. When we carry her back after getting better and getting fixed we are told her days had expired. I don’t understand how days you have paid for expire. Package buyer beware!

Everyone is really friendly and attentive to all the dogs that come and play, or stay over night, or need a bath so I would recommend them to anyone. I really enjoy the dog washing station outside even if my dog doesn’t. It’s really convenient and not expensive.

Poor communication, as with many understaffed. The groomer I met sounded great. Dropped the dog off 8a went back around 12. Not groomed yet. Let go of that groomer and fortunately they had a step in. Bath and ok puppy cut. Mini poodle

A Dog’s Dreamed turned into my dogs nightmare. He came home after being boarded for 5 days with worms, kennel cough, and a UTI. $300 later at the vet we are on the road to getting better. I spent $250 to have him boarded. I expected him to be safe and taken care of. All of these things he has could be prevented if there were better sanitation methods put into place to ensure dogs are protected. Never again will I let my dog step foot into this place.

My boyfriend and I love a dogs dream. Our dog absolutely loves coming here and i swear he never wants to leave. Pirate is always so excited to arrive and always smiling when I pick him up. I can tell the staff is loving and caring because pirate never leaves without wanting to be told bye. The staff is also helping with reinforcing a couple basic training techniques which has helped with training. I would recommend this daycare to anyone for boarding or daycare.

I boarded two of my pups here. One is great with daycare and boarding but the other dog gets scared. He was severely abused before I got him and has major trust issues with people/animals he doesn't know. The few times he's had to be boarded, he's scared and almost reverts back when I pick him up. When I picked him up from A Dog's Dream, he was in the arms of a staff member (this is HUGE), smiling, and his tail was wagging. I wish this place were on Raleigh so I could take them there every time I needed boarding but they definitely will go there next time I'm in the New Bern area. I highly recommend this place!!!

We left “the girls” here for four day cares, grooming, and one overnight while we dealt with all things house shopping includes. The dogs cheerfully returned everyday and even jumped up on the gate to be let into the back!The staff members were always cheerful and helpful.The groomer did an excellent job on both dogs (70lb shaggy Labradoodles)We will use A Dog’s Dream every time we return to New Bern-and when we finally move here for good!

My dog absolutely loves going to daycare here! With his bad separation anxiety, it was awful everytime me and my boyfriend had to go to work and worry about him at home. Now, I feel relieved knowing he's being taken care of wonderfully and is having tons of fun playing with other dogs. I researched all the doggy daycares around the area and I'm so happy this is the one I choose for my dog. He always comes home tired from playing all day and he seems to really love the staff there. Staff is always very friendly when he gets dropped off! I would recommend their doggy daycare to anyone who wants their baby in a safe and fun place

I can't say enough good things about A Dog's Dream for boarding. My dogs LOVED spending a long weekend there. I received a super fantastic caring service at a reasonable price. I loved being able to see my dogs on the webcams while they were out at play. It really helped to ease my anxiety thinking my dogs would be stressed out and depressed away from home-- it was very much the opposite. When I picked them up they were happy and exhausted from all the fun they had!! My dogs will be returning and I will be passing on my wonderful experience to everyone I know with dogs!

The employees at this puppy day care are absolutely the best! They love my dog (and all of the others) and treat him as if he were their own. I travel a lot and have no worries or concerns that he will be well taken care of, and he is bathed when I pick him up. Love, love, love!!!!

Very responsive owner and manager when we had some concerns about our dogs. We have been going here for almost 3 years and our dogs have loved going there. We have one dog that has some anxiety due to being a rescue and while we were on vacation he was having anxiety about being around the other dogs. The staff made sure he was safe and comfortable with our other dog. We were on vacation and did not see him on the camera and we got concerned. The staff were worried they would ruin our vacation by telling us that our dog was stressed. We felt there was something up and it all went south from there.We voiced our concerns and we were actually heard which is SO unusual! We are very thankful for being heard and that our dogs were safe and happy while we were away. We will always rely on A Dogs Dream for our doggy daycare. Thank You.

Picked my dog up from Day Play, asked how she did and got a response of “good”, nothing else. We got home and noticed two bite marks on her leg. I did not call “A Dog Dream” or confront them about it. I know and understand that dogs play and get in scuffles. What I don’t like is not being told my dog got in a fight and has puncture wounds that were still bleeding. I will not be using them again.

Wouldn't take my pup anywhere else!! The staff is AMAZING- always greeting my dog when she comes in and letting me know how her day was when I pick her up! My one year old golden falls asleep in the car every time I pick her up from daycare. She loves playing all day and swimming in the pool and I love that I can watch her on their cameras and shes not at home bored!Thanks A Dog's Dream!
