I was in this Food Lion earlier today, and these are the conditions that I saw one register open with lines literally going down the isles no bags on the bag racks the produce department was completely empty and what was left was picked over do better. The items that I was looking for where not on the shelf.

Excellent clean store! High quality meats and delicious bakery items. It always smells so good when you walk in that store! Employees are extremely friendly. Absolutely love it.

Only saw his name opened up a line and was very attentive to others as well he was really nice and bagged everything so neatly sometimes thats all you need to make your day. Thank you Justin D hope you are appreciated for all you do.

This store has a unique parking lot, but the inside of the store is a typical FL layout. Friendly employees and well-stocked shelves. Just avoid the hot bar by all means possible... Hot bar chicken, ribs, and cheese sticks among the driest and most overcooked food I’ve ever eaten. I skipped fast food because I thought this would satiate me during my daily commute. I was very incorrect about that. I'll do my grocery shopping here, but that's all.

New to area and Food Lion, the customer service today was great! I misread the “sale” item as BOGO and got $2 off. When I questioned what happened the young lady walked me back to check and I easily swapped items..: ended up getting >$5 back so yeah Savings!!! The young lady was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I appreciate this being my neighborhood store. Produce and Meat always on sale and fresh, clean store and shelves usually well stocked. Kudos Food Lion.

I went shopping one day when I wasn't feeling well. While shopping can be a struggle for handicap customers, I appreciate stores that strive to make shopping easier for us. Food Lion on South Fifth Street, is one of those stores. Each section was clean, fresh, and orderly. The cashier was friendly and Ms. LoAnn helped me to unload heavy items. Thanks Food Lion!

Produce section was absolutely disgusting. Watched the manger walk right through the section and not pick up anything to make it look presentable. Bagged lettuce was slimy looking. Bagged apples were brown. Based on that section alone I turned around and left the store.

Cashier was unfriendly and paid no attention to what he was doing. He messed up the transaction before mine. I asked for forty dollars back in cash. He gave me thirty instead. Customer Service told me they would have to pull his drawer and count it. I had a meeting to get and couldn’t wait the thirty minutes they said it would take. They basically stole ten dollars from me.

I haven't shopped here in over a year. Shelves are not completely. The meats were also need to fill in some major areas. Same with dairy. There were a lot of helpful employees on the floor. I think they were waiting on a truck. Much cleaner and organized than my last visit. I'm going to try again really soon.

Easy to navigate if you're used to Food Lion set up. Easy to find what you need. Didn't see any employees except the cashiers and a maintenance person who kept getting awfully close with the zamboni floor scrubber everywhere we went in produce. But our cashier was super sweet.

The website says the store opens at six, however, there are no cash registers that are working at 6 AM. I checked out at 7:04 AM and two self check out we’re set up and ready to go. So apparently they really open at seven.

The nice people at people at this store are the managers (I've ALWAYS had great interactions with them), deli associates and perhaps a handful of the floor staff. However, each time I come and ask for help, I'm made to feel as if my need for assistance is of some problem to some of the associates. Other than that, the store is great. Some of the individuals just need customer service training.

Prices marked on the shelves are not the same prices that are charged at the register, the register price is higher. After standing at customer service while 4 employees stood 10 feet away taking, with no one making an attempt to help me, I approached an employee for help and was told twice how busy everyone is, even though the group of employees were standing there talking. If the staff is too busy to assist customers it may be time to help them out by shopping somewhere else.

Not as dirty as some other food lines that I've been to and had a very good selection. Only thing that I think they could improve is their pre-made salad section because that's what I went here for and they didn't have much.

Staff is very friendly, the lines aren't usually long. Only place to buy Brookwood Farms vinegar based BBQ. Has great meat specials. Bakery is full of favorite goodies. Their cake donuts are to die for!

The employees are always so nice at this store. I met one of the store managers to pick up a special order and he too was very nice. After meeting the manager, I understand why the employees don't appear stressed. In my experience, stressed employees equal poor customer service. The customer service here is always on point.

I really like this Food Lion better than Hillsborough or Chapel Hill cause it’s so much cleaner and the layout and lighting is better. My only complaint is that the cashiers don’t pay attention and have neglected to give me all of the items I paid for. 3times I’ve had to return to get items they bagged but never put on shelf. I guess I’ll self check out to prevent this from happening again.

I just moved to this area and ran to this store as we were unpacking to get some items for lunch. I went to the deli to get some ham and the lady behind the counter got some deli meat for the woman in front of me as I was waiting for my turn. Then, she just walked away and began chit chatting with someone she worked with and never helped me. It's was so aggravating! I was disappointed since this is the closest store to me. I guess I will check out other grocery stores in the area. The store seemed nice, though.

It has changed, and for the better. If you've not shopped Food Lion in a while, you might give it another look. Most stores have had a face lift with a brighter look. I was surprised by the values being on a whole, better than the other local grocery stores. Milk and juice prices are much better.

Food lion went above and beyond for me today. I made a really unusual request for my grocery pickup order and they made it happen with not one issue. The shopper communicated with me the entire time even sending me pictures the whole time. I am absolutely impressed with the service I received. Thank you food lion! (I believe my shoppers name was Angel. She was amazing)

He took out time to not only check if the formula my son is on was in stock, but he offered to go and recheck to see what formulas were in stock. Management in this store needs to be changed. There are Never Enough cashiers to handle the customers, nor is there anyone available to help customers find items in the store. It would appear that the manager does not care to hire enough employees to take care of their customers. Frequently when I enter the store there are no grocery carts, which is very frustrating! It is obvious that the few cashiers that are in the store are trying their best, but do not have enough help!
