This Dollar General location is clean, well lit and stays fully stocked with a wide variety of items to meet your day to day needs.It has a wide enough range of groceries to keep us from having to drive to Jacksonville when we're in a pinch for dinner. It's certainly convenient for folks living in the area and the staff is generally friendly and helpful.The store is packed tight which causes some congestion in the isles but that's hard to avoid in a busy, well stocked store. And they do have one employee who apparently has no filter which makes shopping there somewhere between interesting and awkward at times.Aside from that it's a fine place to shop with reasonable prices.I'll certainly continue shopping there on a regular basis and would recommend it to anyone living nearby or just passing through.

When this store opened on March 20, 2018, A New Manager ( China woman) was here until she retired in 2022.She kept thing in order and decent. Now the store has a new manager and sometimes the merchandise are few on the shelves to purchase, but I go to Walmart on Yopp Road in Jacksonville and the on New Bern Hwy(17 North) to shop during the winter ❄️ fall, and Summer year on my bicycle traveling 18 miles. I even shop on or after Christmas ⛄ season!!!

I stopped at Dollar General #18666, located at 15575 NC HWY 53E, MAPLE HILL, NC. on Monday afternoon (5:45 pm), 06-12-2023, on my way home from Wake Forest after a heartbreaking weekend due to my 3 y/o grandson falling and breaking his femur bone. Being stressed and very melancholy, I was surprised by the spirited “Welcome to Dollar General!” from Customer Service Representative Twanna and a sweet customer as I walked in. My purpose for stopping was to purchase the old-school Chick-O- Sticks. Twanna was immediately helping me look for Log Cabin candy after telling me that the store didn’t carry the Chick-O-Sticks. Twanna and the lovely customer didn’t give up and I felt like they truly cared about me finding what was basically intended to be comfort food.Twanna was kind and very professional; her willingness to go beyond what others may have offered was greatly appreciated. Twanna’s an excellent representative of your organization and I hope that you reach out to her and let her know that her genuineness was noticed, she actually lightened my mood before I made it home.

Please "like" our reviews. Wheelchair accessible (except for a couple areas.) The aisles can get tight along the wall. There are so many products. If you need anything, this store probably has it. It does sell out of beach gear, so if you plan on stopping for infaltables, it may or not be sold out here. The staff was courteous and hard working. The store was busy but they handled the lines pretty quickly. There is only one private room bathroom available here and a key is needed. When it gets busy, so does their single room bathroom. Other than this, everything seemed organized, plentiful and courteous, efficient staff.

I enjoy the staff's friendliness . It's nice to stop on my frequent trips to Watha to visit my grandkids. DG also has great buys and offers coupons via the DG app.

Not sure what happened in this store, but it is never stocked, there's always so many carts and boxes you can barely walk down the aisle, there's never more than one employee and you always feel so sorry for them. Like they are drowning in product and can't effectively do their job. It's been like this for months.

Very cheap place I love it when they had the penny sales very nice Christmas ornament better than what you would pay and Walmart for another shopping store very beautiful decorations for the price very friendly environment and they're always willing to lend a hand to help find what you want and asked if you're satisfied

I Love going to Dollar General, because I go to charge my phone there and buy potatoe chips, phone service plans, or batteries for my Radio size D,Or my latern size AA. Great place to shop and I don't have to travel to Walmart in Burgaw or Jacksonville. Sometime I buy my mother Doris a cell phone TracFone card for phone also.

An employee not wearing a mask speaking to me spitting over my products and when I ask him about the mask he gets upset and tries to throw me out of the store because I took a picture of him.but at least the store manager who was wearing a mask came out and took control of the situation. No one should be serving you in a public store without a mask that is now a state requirement.

Great place to buy toilet paper, Ranch dressing, harpoons, and look at spookies. They have a great parking lot. 5/5 Stars, would eat here again.
