I would definitely recommend going to this Walmart. Although the lines were long and once the staff acknowledged the unusually excessive length, they promptly sprang into action. Additional registers were swiftly opened, effectively managing the situation and ensuring swift passage for everyone. This proactive approach demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction, a gesture I found particularly commendable. I was genuinely grateful for their concerted efforts in ensuring a timely departure for all patrons.

I came late one night which I never do and as I parked ( very cold that night) a W/M got out of his car as I did. Except he stopped in front of my car. I felt very uneasy so when I excited the store, he was still at my car. So I went back in and asked a Walmart employee who was getting off work, to walk to my car with me. He didn’t have to help me, but graciously did!! I usually have a weapon with me, but not that night!!! Thank you Walmart!!! Your employer was super nice!!!

They have a decent selection of everything that I need for me, my kitty and family. Need to have more cashiers during the first of the month. Being a senior myself shopping then standing g in line forever to ring my stuff is a bit much.I can drive less than a mile to Food Lion and get more items for my kitty.

This Walmart is the grocery store version of the Walmart franchise. It's clean and products seem to be well organized. Shelves are fronted and there are large readable signs letting you know what row the item you are looking for may be on. For the most part the employees were helpful and pleasant to shop around. They give way if you are looking for something in particular where they are filling call in Orders. As with most businesses it's the younger generation of employees that do not smile and don't know their job. I felt that here today. But the older mire mature employees were too shelf in my book and their smiles made me smile. Thank you Walmart for making my shopping experience a good one. I highly recommend this store.P.S. I am a man with mental disabilities. The pharmacy here is so good at what they do. I have had prescription filled here from broken ribs. The on the scene doctor's really know their job and helped me with everything I needed In that store for blood pressure and heart conditions and the broken ribs down to just a simple cold. Great job pharmacy. You stand out in your field and I thank you all.

Most of the staff is rude, offensive and not very helpful. They like to harass people with their loss prevention who have never given any reason to follow them or stand in their way and blatantly lie that they aren't watching or blocking your shopping. If you have that many cameras then someone should be watching instead of stalking shoppers

The Best thing I can Say about the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Kings Mtn. Is that if you need a couple things it's really easy to go in and get out quickly. Other than Ingles the only Grocery Store here with self checkout. So you don't have to wait for a cashier. That's what I like what I don't like it's not a Supercenter it's only a Grocery Store no electronics here. No clothes. You go to Walmart for all the different things they have. And don't ever Grocery Shop at Walmart they aren't cheap you will spend to much. Grocery stores have better deals period.

I always enjoy shopping 🛍 at Wal-Mart...Today at Wal-Mart I had to pick up some items and get home 🏡.It was busy in the store this morning but I was able to pray for a cousin I have not seen in along time, we caught up and I finished my shopping 🛍 at Wal-Mart had a great time....

I thought the Shelby Walmart was the worst in the area. Now I’m not so sure. Other than two employees who work up front, I’ve found everyone here to be incredibly rude. And the prices and selection are horrible and laughable, even during ‘supply chain’ issues. How do you sell basics like milk for nearly twice the price of other local Walmart stores? I’m not going to pay $3.50 for a gallon when I can get it at the west Gastonia Walmart for $1.84 or a Kings Mountain Food Lion for $2.19. If your argument is that the store is between major distribution hubs I could see a small difference but not so much as nearly double. Milk’s only one example. Despite the convenient location to my home I believe I’m done with this store and will trumpet the experience to anyone who will listen. My money and time are simply spent better elsewhere.

Customer service is not big on there lists. If something is stocked in the incorrect spot (which has happened continuously) I should receive the item for that price! I picked up three packages of tuna and seen the price was incorrect when checking out. I showed the front end manager who is always rude, I think her name is Tammy, the item stocked on the shelf under the price. She said she could only give me one. I told her I spent my time shopping I shouldn’t have to pick out more items to accommodate there error!! She went and got another manager by the name of Travis. He said he could give me 10% off or one item at the price on the shelf because it was policy. When I asked to see the policy he said it was in back on the computer and didn’t have time to go get it. Maybe if they spent more time correctly stocking and training stockers instead of being rude and giving bad customer service this wouldn’t be a issue. Needless to say they lost 100$ (Walked out without purchasing my items) Over there $3.00 mistakes. I would rather go spend more money on items somewhere else than get treated bad at Kings Mountain Walmart.

It's so is pull up at the drive-thru and pick up your medication. And the people working there are very nice. But I have asked them to update information so I get notifications on my phone with prescriptions are ready? I shouldn't have to wait on a prescription that was called in on Monday when I come to pick it up on Thursday it should have already been ready. But I do think the lady at the window that did take the time to feel it where I did not have to wait.

Can’t even walk down the isles and shops without employees almost running over you with the grocery pickup carts. If your shopping or looking at something they huff like your in their way. They will pull the carts to the side and if you need something where there cart is good luck because they won’t move for you. Walmart grocery pick up is a good thing when customers don’t have time or for the elderly that can’t really walk around in the store. For the customers that come in the store to shop they don’t care. They are actually very rude to the customers that come in to shop.

It's clean, fresh, & bright! Everyone is SO helpful (even if when you've just asked the location of an item & they point it out right in front of you!) Definitely a good place to go.Only problem I've had was that they have only 2 electric carts and they're placed that you can't see them until you've walked from parking lot into store (& there's no bench convenient to sit & wait on). HOWEVER - there have been a couple times I've called in and an associate cheerfully brought one out to my car.

I usually have zero complaints about this Walmart but I went with my mom to take her grocery shopping today and had to stop by the pharmacy, the brown haired lady on the front register was very rude, scrunching her nose at the simple request of some over-the-counter insulin pens, conveniently her name-tag was covered.

My husband and I live in Shelby but drive to the KM Walmart because staff are friendly and they are rarely out of stock on items. Produce is fresh and selection for all other things are great. Clean restrooms too. Wish they opened more check outs but if my buggy is full they usually have someone help. And it is very clean.

I do not of my shopping here... Though they don't always have everything I need the prices are always the lowest around. Also their generic brand is very good! I would definitely recommend and they finally got call ahead ordering and delivery! Get the app and you can get it brought out to your car or house!

I go to Walmart only because I have to buy things for my job. The prices are to high for such a large company. With that said I find the overall freshness of their produce to be a 9 out of 10 and the overall cleanliness also a 9 out of 10. The employees have always been very helpful and friendly but not outgoing. You can tell that they are only there for the job to pay the bills. I have met only one or two employees that truly seem happy to be working for Walmart. Check out is bad, most of the time that they actually have a person checking you out it is a long line because all but one lane is self check out. I am paying a profit on my items so that employees can get paid not so they can put in another self checkout line.... Next the parking. The spaces are to small and lanes to narrow. With the lanes as narrow as they are a full size pickup or suv stick out of the parking spot into the lane and cause traffic problems.

So if I have to always ring up and bag all my own groceries I should get an employee discount. They never have someone when you need them. There have been at least 10 times where there wasn't anyone around when I went to check out (self check-out), I could have just grabbed my stuff and walked out and no one would have known.

It's a very clean store, and most all employees are great except one cashier I had, was questioning why I was buying so much and why it was all "healthy" foods. I was not comfortable with her and feel it is none of any cashier or employees business why I am buying what I am buying, and they should not be questioning me about anything unless there is a good reason. Also when I did explain to her I was changing the way I was eating due to medical reasons, she became nosey yet again about what I had and what it was she started asking me questions again. Other then that one cashier I have always had a good experience here.

overall it is clean, well stocked and the employees are great. The kiosk for propane out front has no convenient parking at it, so be prepared to carry your full tanks back to your vehicle. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love the location. Love that it's not a super store. Unfortunately, of the dozen or so cash registers, only two are run by associates. Why is that? I'm not a fan of the self service lines. It's okay if you have one or two items- but we actually buy a buggy full. I'm thinking that's how Amazon business is booming. The customer service part...

Not good! After doing the aisles the way they're set up for covid protection I was exhausted. I am disabled and going to the grocery store is painful. There was only one regular register open and just as I stepped up she closed down. So I had no choice but to do the self scan. By the time I had one bag filled someone opened another register. I messed up and the cashier over self scan had to come help me I explained to her that I needed help but she just walked off. It wouldn't have been so bad if she had acknowledged that I said something. So I do not plan to go back I guess the Walmart employees aren't aware of the disabled person laws!

It's so hard to judge which store is the best,some ladles get coupons thru the paper well I dont buy the paper and maybe I should,(lol) I got behind a lady that had alot of grocery plus coupons I wasn't in a big hurry like most people, but now I'll think twice about that notice, by the time the poor cashier got done keying the coupons it was 25muns, she had a bill of 345,and got them for three times less then what she would of paid, so if you see a lady WITH A BASKET OVER LOAD dont get behind her (LOL) but it's your choice,enjoy shopping .
