We had the best experience at cookout in king, nc today. The food was hot, yummy and delicious! Lacy took out quickly and was so nice. She made sure we had everything we had ordered and that we were satisfied with our lunch. Any employer would be lucky to have Lacy on their team. She rocks!Kid-friendliness: The dining area is large enough to make room for families.

This is a sorry excuse for a regular and a Big Double Cheeseburger. Cutting a thin patty in half doesn't make it a double.All of the burgers were cold with dry buns and soggy lettuce. Even the "fresh" one they remade. But that's par for the course with this store.This Cook Out has steadily gone downhill over the last 7 months. This was the final straw. Every single customer that came in while we were there, had issues with their orders.

Cook out is a GREAT place to eat! My first time visiting and if I ever come back to N.C. I will be sure to eat here again. I had 'walking tacos', 'cajun fries' and a chocolate milkshake. The Cajun fries were great, however, a little spicy for my liking. But that's what Cajun is, right? The walking tacos were AWESOME! They actually came in a Doritos bag. I've NVR had them before so maybe that's wat they're suppose to come in. The restaurant was big, nice and empty to my surprise. The menu looked so good that I figured more people would be dining there. Let's not forget how southern hospitality was on point here. Everyone that worked here were all very friendly. And the restroom was very clean. That's what I like to see. Well 'Cook Out' gets a 5⭐.Parking: There's plenty of parking space at this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This would DEFINATELY be a place to bring children. They would love the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheel chair accessible entrance.

I got a chicken quesadilla tray and they didn’t give me any chicken on it. filed a complaint with corporate and they were nice. another downside was the wait for the food was very long and it took a few minutes just to ask for ketchup. if u can’t focus on both inside and drive thru of the restaurant u need to close the inside. the lady who handed out my milkshake was kind of rude as well. if ur in a rush i suggest the drive thru because they could care less about the inside area.about a month ago as well i went inside to get an application at 9 (i know the dining room was closed but why still have the doors unlocked?) i went in because that was all i was going to ask for and right when i went in i got yelled at by an employee saying the inside was closed. when i told him that i wanted to apply he said it wasn’t a good time and to just come back later. come back later? u literally could have just said to wait a few minutes. i live 30 MINUTES AWAY there was no way i could have just “came back later.”

A DINE-IN COOK OUT!I always forget how cheap this place is. Always go to Cook Out. I’d you’re even thinking about going… just go.Very clean and very new, with a very friendly staff. Probably the best Cook Out I’ve been to in NC. Food was made quick and fresh, exactly as ordered. I was even recommended a new combo item from the cashier and they delivered it out to our table for me to try. Wonderful experience!

Extremely satisfied with food and service at this location!Update: 07/24/23Absolute worst quality of food I’ve ever had to pay for my entire life my four chicken nuggets as a side, completely cold no sauce at all for my nuggets. My quesadilla was so so greasy and messy that it was coming out of the foil, wrapper and the Carolina style burger look like someone had stomped on it after they wrapped it absolutely disgusting.

The person taking our order cut us off midway through before we could finish. After our lengthy wait not a single order of four were right. No napkins, no salt or pepper, no sauces.Two stars because it's better than starving.

Cookout in King nc is the best hands down only one that has a sit in and awesome amazing customer service this is the only one I go to compared to the others locally king nc is the only place I'll eat fast food now service there is no competition keep up the amazing work

We were on our way back from a long trip from Iowa when we stopped into this cookout. I got a double cheeseburger and I got a banana shake and my wife got an eggnog shake and those shakes are just as delicious there as they are at the other cookouts I have ever been to which is fantastic and I'm going to tell you what, that double cheeseburger was awesome

The new location looks nice. Line went fast and staff were friendly. Order was accurate but I took off a star because I only got 4 onion rings and the fries were soggy. Burgers and milkshakes were great though.UPDATE 9/25/2022After 2 years this Cookout is now a disappointment. I mostly come here after 9pm and i do believe this is a late night issue with Cookout. I order a double burger tray and the patties aren't even whole patties, sometimes I only get two half patties. Consistently missing toppings, today they forgot the bacon and onions. Sides tend to be hard and dry like they've been sitting around a while. After midnight there aren't a lot of places to order food so I keep coming back but my order is wrong every time and the quality is lacking.

Update**. Wife went for a milkshake post pregnancy to sooth herself and this is what they gave her. This place is a pathetic cesspool. Not to mention their cups are always filthy!I love Cookout…just not this one. If you have the time just go to the one in Mt Airy, they load your tray. King is apparently trying to save money

I paid 4$ for the smallest burger I've ever seen with absolutely nothing on it with a miniscule amount of fries. Never come to this place!!!!Edit: I came back, big mistake. They could not get my order right for the life of them.

We usually drive through. I have eaten at a few different cookouts, one in Cross Lanes WV and a few different ones on the way to Myrtle Beach. This one is my favorite. They are fast, the food is always hot and juicy. My favorite is the peanut butter milk shake 😋The cheese curds are my favorite, hot and juicy too.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, cheese bits, hot dogs, sm hamburgers, walking tacos, chicken fingers, and chicken bits.. and of course, every kids favorite million flavors of ice creamWheelchair accessibility: Store is ground level. No stairs

I ordered a 1/4lb burger tray only to receive a raw burger with it. This is not the first time I have received raw food from this location.UPDATE- 2 years later they still can’t seem to get it right. Just got a tray from there and both of my quesadillas were burnt.

Yum!! Our first time having Cook Out and the food was delicious! The restaurant was clean & the staff friendly. Our food was brought to the table quickly - the nuggets were perfect for our 15 months old.My one complaint would be that the shake (vanilla) was on the thicker side, but that's personal preference!

I'll give 3 stars because Cookout corporate is sending me a refund.Used my lunch break to go here to pick up food, only to discover I didn't get what I ordered. So now not only did waste my lunch break for something I don't even eat, but also wasted $10, gas and I'll be hungry.Tried calling but no one answered the phone.Order #: 2079Aug 31, 6:44pm.That's the order you lost this customer on.It's always something with every Cookout I have ever been too.

I don’t usually write reviews but I thought this was necessary. I got a barbecue plate. The barbecue was very dry and tasted a week old, even the color was strange. One bite and I was done. The coleslaw was tasteless and dry. The hush puppies and fries were good. That’s why I gave it two stars. I’ve always liked Cook Out and was very disappointed with this meal.

It’s amazing, never a hit or miss always a hit. Chicken quesadilla is always my go too. Nice well rounded place love the BBQ sauce. Great appearance and all, it looks so sexy.

If I could give zero I would. Went through the drive-thru, ordered a low carb burger with bacon and cheese for my husband and a regular burger for me. I had to repeat myself 4 different times when it come down to the low carb order. (All well and good) come to the window and confirmed with the cashier that it was indeed a low carb burger. ( of course he states yes.) We get home just to find out both of our orders are messed up. My burger is burnt to a crisp nothing I ordered was on it. And the (LOW CARB) burger has bread. (At least they did get the bacon and cheese part right.) I don’t think I’ll ever be returning to this location. Super slow, don’t listen to your order even after being told multiple times. And will mess your order completely up. If you want good service/food I wouldn’t recommend this place!

Pathetic excuse for a Cookout Restaurant. Service was horrible, employee at drive-thru was absolutely incompetent and rude. She has no business dealing with people. Contacted the Manager and I can see why the employee acted the way she did. He could have cared less about the incident. Contacted the corporate office and received no response as well. At least everyone at Cookout is consistent!

Staff was nice, our order and one of the other orders in our party took a very long time to prepare, and portion sizes are terrible.. with a tray you get 2 x sides and just simply stated the portion sizes were embarrassing... I get the "Biden" effect on pricing.. but 4 "crumb" size cheese bites as a side.. come on man.. you can do better..
