I had the pleasure to chat with owner Barry, who is extremely passionate about his business and has been doing it for decades. If you’re looking for an antique shop, collectibles, furniture, household items , this is the place to visit!!!! Check them out you will not be disappointed!!!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😃😃😃

The Flipping Rooster is a great place to buy furniture, antiques, odds and ends, etc., and just to simply browse. They have an ample stock of many different and quality items that are fairly and affordably priced. It's well organized, clean, pleasant and definitely worth the trip to their location of 4881 Gum Branch Road in Jacksonville, NC.

Must stop place if visiting or residing in Jacksonville NC. Home of the Marine! So much cool stuff inside. I enjoy exploring and finding cool things. BED BUGS! Bought a China cabinet and brought it home. As I was cleaning it, I found BED BUGS! Called this location to inform them of the situation. they were not helpful and very rude. I have bought dozens of antique furniture from other locations and never had this happen before.

Cool spot. Lots of things to see. Didn't notice any outrageous prices like some other area antique stores. The layout is a little weird so it'll take you a bit to make sure you see it all. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The a/c was kicking, and considering the Temps lately, that's a plus. Parking is adequate but larger vehicles may have issues. A few small vendors outside as well. Would go back.

I love this place! I go here all the time! Maintenance could be a little better, but there aren't many alternatives.

Friendly staff and good bargains for what i look for.. me and my brothers have managed to buy a lot of our gaming collection from here and everytime we go we are greeted with love.. they have household essentials as well

Honestly the best vendor market in this area. Wide variety of items from antiques and furniture to decor and pop culture items. The store is clean, staff is welcoming and overall a nice place to stroll and check out all the latest finds. Definitely will be returning.

The prices they offer for antique and vintage items when wanting to sell is absolutely insulting! I'm well aware that they have to make a profit also but if you're looking for a place to sell and buy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANTIQUE TO CHIC over this place any day!

Looks like if a store was going to shut down “indefinitely” they would post it on a public page. Drove a good deal out of my way to find that BOTH stores are closed indefinitely. I mentioned to someone there that they might want to make the public aware somehow, Facebook, message on their phone, any number of public forums that can be used. I was met with a blank stare. Pretty sketchy. I’ll never go back to see if they’ve reopened.

Prices for used and beat up furniture seemed very high and there wasn't a ton of selection. A lot of places in town sold similar things, a lot of military gear and uniform items, which isn't very useful to most people. I don't personally know of any military people who buy uniform items in this manner.

Hi Im the daughter of the buisness owner, i saw that there were some reviews on here saying that they are closed indefinitely. Loved this place, my husband and I found some great stuff. I am curious as to why they closed, I just noticed their big gorilla was gone which is how I found out they were no longer there
