The BEST grooming experience I have ever had. Katrina loves my babies as her own and takes her time to not only tend to my dogs but educate me on proper grooming techniques. i loved coming to this groomer prices were usually fair, i brought my dog here not too long ago, she had some matting on her ears because of playing with my other dog and i knew they were needing to be shaved down, but they ended up shaving her entire body down to her skin basically which was not matted, i had been brushing her. They have charged me $70 before to bathe, brush and trim, the last time i brought my dog they charged me $100 to not even try to brush her, they just shaved her completely, they didn’t even trim her nails. She had some matting inside her ears they refused to touch, i called my vet to see if they do that and they said the groomer should have done it. I’m disappointed and wont be bringing my dogs back here.

I honestly can’t say enough positives. The owner was so patient with my Daisy and took her time to educate me on proper grooming needs for her breed. She is kind and extremely knowledgeable about grooming (and dogs in general). I feel safe leaving my pup with her, which hasn’t been true for most groomers I’ve been to. I’m grateful to have found the Dog Room and highly recommend it to everyone!

Very unprofessional employer. Told someone I know if she wanted to work under her again to “get a slice of humble pie”, messaged her saying she’d report equipment stolen and slandered her ownership of dogs, said hopes her daughter “survived her”. Also stalked her on Facebook to critique her grooming photos from 2023!!. Very unbecoming of a business owner. I do not tolerate bullying. Would not recommend.Edit: Ma’am the fact that you didn’t keep my source’s identity private further shows your unprofessionalism. Going based off hearsay that equipment was stolen is not only immature but inaccurate. The criticism was based off employee treatment not employees personal lives.

My husband and I have been bringing our dog Millie to the Dog Room for nail trims for a while now! This is hands down best groomer we have been to for our baby. Millie is pretty anxious and scared of nail trims and Katrina is so patient and kind. Bonus - its such a cute shop. So happy we found her!

I am so thankful we found The Dog Room! our girl's hair was in bad shape and we were nervous to try out a new groomer. When we first walked in we were surprised with how calming the atmosphere of the salon was. Katrina greeted us and immediately put our worries at ease. She was so kind and understanding. You can tell she has a genuine love for dogs. When we picked up our girl Buddha she looked so healthy and beautiful. Awesome groomer and salon!!!

Katrina is the best groomer we have ever had. We have followed her around and now into her own place. No groomer is cleaner, kinder and more professional. Our puppy loves her and she always does an expectation job. If you want a groomer you can trust who cares about your dog and your well being this is the place to come. We know cause we have tried about 6 dog groomers in the jacksonville/hubert/ swansboro area and none even come close!!!

I have two dogs that use to go dog room to be groomed by a female, but what I have seen with my own eyes a couple times dogs walking around not in crates as she grooming other dogs on grooming table and dogs going up to other dogs in crates and I see this on September 29, 2023 in the afternoon and I’ve seen it many times before stupid me I kept on bringing my dogs back to her it would never happen again. I thought I would put this out on her website and I hope and pray that somebody reads this because what she is doing, is not professional as a groomer Also, she left dog on a grooming table unsupervised, as she went to go get my dog out of the crate to bring her to me

This business is very unprofessional, the owner had dogs all over the place unattended, she had dogs on the table unsupervised while taking care of other dogs and none of her employees are certified groomers. I would not recommend this business to anyone if you care about your animals!! I will not be returning.

Katrina is a wonderful groomer. She treats my pets as if they are hers. She is great with all animals. She has gone above and beyond expectations in continuing her training for those pet parents that want to have show quality grooming. She is exceptional in her work and love for the animals. I highly recommend her!

I have had my Sheperd/Malinois groomed a couple different places in town but none of them match The Dog Room. He has never felt so soft and clean after grooming. I have very high standards for my dog and they exceeded them. They were super friendly with me and my baby, who I’m sure pierced an ear drum with his howling. For sure will be returning regularly and am extremely grateful.

My dog was groomed at another place and they made a mess of his coat. A month later I called and had him regroomed at The Dog Room. I am elated with the job they did. My dog is so happy. They are very affordable and so pleasant to work with. We won't be going anywhere else.

This is the first time I have ever taken my pugs anywhere to get bathed ect... The Dog Room was super cute! Very Clean & Spacious. Katrina’s customer service was wonderful! It is evident she loves her job! Highly recommended! My pugs Bingo & Rolly were so happy ❤️ Thank you So very much!

I have a 3 month old Shih Tzu that has never been groomed before and I was nervous about just leaving her at a groomer who would put her in a crate until they were ready for her and then put her back in one until I could come and get her after they called me and said she was ready. Not to mention I was not sure how she was going to react and I did not want it to be made into a bad experience for her. Katrina had me bring my little girl over so she could meet her and just brushed her and let her hear the clippers and feel them so she could get a sense of how she would react and to my surprise the little thing that bites me when I try to wipe her feet off let Katrina do just about anything to her. Katrina is very patient and responsive to the animal. I will not take my little girl to anyone else! And my friends just rescued a Pomeranian that was so neglected that the poor thing was matted and its nails were so long it could hardly walk, I told them about Katrina and they called her, the before and after pictures of that dog are absolutely amazing! That dog is running around and actually smiling!Katrina is knowledgeable, kind and loves animals, this you can tell without a question.

Took my baby boy, Coco in for a nail trim. Tiny dogs just don't enjoy having their feet touched. Katrina is always so patient with him and does a wonderful job.
