I love going to 2nd & Charles. They may not always have what I want, although they did have this cute calendar. They also had other things that my family wanted. It's always clean and the employees are nice.

Great place to buy books and other items. I spent about $85, and had some books to sell. I was not offered to join the membership which would have given me $10 coupon. I asked and was told they will open a ticket and someone will call me. I had a few books I wanted to sell. Store was almost empty. Two people working on buying back books said they were busy with other items (not for people who were there) and asked me to wait. I waited about 20 minutes to be offered about two center per book. NO THANKS.

It's clean and when you do find an employee....they are nice, but the store is way over priced, doesn't have a good selection, categories not labeled well and if you plan on selling a book back to them.....well they start to tell you a list of books that they do not take. 🙄 I mean you either buy back or you don't. What a waste of a drive, I won't be doing business there.

I truly can never say enough good things about this store. The manager is wonderful and always goes above and beyond to help anyone who needs it. He also has such a passion for what he does that you just can’t help but get excited about all the cool stuff that’s in that store. I could spend hours….and have 😂

Love 2nd & Charles. I always stop with my granddaughters to have them pick up books. But this time, I was looking for law books in which the store didn't have any. First time I been disappointed. But my granddaughters did find books they liked. Get more law books, please.

Amazing I've loved all the visits I've made, wide range of genres, authors and stationary items. They also have guitars, record players and vinyl. Very well maintained. Pricing is also really good on their items.

Always spend a good chunk of time in this place. They get new stuff daily so ya never know what you'll find. Don't expect more than pennies on the dollar for sell back tho. I'll only use this place as a last resort from now on.

Jack is the owner and helped me himself! I was looking for a broad topic of books and he helped me find exactly what I was looking for and suggested some great reads! I'm a huge fan and will definitely be back!

I love this place. If you are into almost any kind of nerdom, this place is for you. Collectibles, retro games, board games and tabletop RPGs, vinyl records, CDs, manga, anime, blue-rays, DVDs. They always have some kind of clearance bins for of cool stuff. You can also trade in any of the things I listed above! It's a cool place to walk around and shop for a long time.

Love this store ... My boyfriend took me here last weekend and it's a book lovers Paradise. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Also, don't let the store fool you. There's movies and games. There are books and toys for kids. There's gaming stuff for the gamers. Sales and deals everywhere.

Poor customer service. Flipping through the comic book bargain bin, some books didn't have prices on them. When I asked the MGR, he quoted me cover price ($4.99/$5.99). Nothing wrong with selling modern books at cover price, but I shouldn't have to hunt through an unorganized bargain bin to find them. Also, one book was priced at $6 & the cashier flipped the book over & used a bar code on the back & bottom of the book for $21 / no apology or effort to negotiate the book for the trouble, just "you want me to take it off?". Bottom line, the store could be better managed and organized.

Its pretty awesome in there and they have lots of books and some cool paintings too. This place has so many thing to buy and I seen some cool guitars in there with a banjo. I love it here and I wanna keep coming back

It's pretty cool place you can bring stuff to trade in if you're over the age of 18 there's a lot of collectibles and old and new items in there they are sometimes a little overpriced but you get by it really quickly when you see the quality of them.

Awesome awesome place. My son and I went looking for vinyl records, and they had plenty of them! They also had used PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo games for sale and gaming systems as well! The only complaint I had and my son, he was about to fall out, it was so hot and humid in there. Kid at the register said the A/C had been out for 7 months and it was the hottest day of the year that late Saturday afternoon, but still. He couldn’t breathe so we paid and left. We didn’t explore the store like we wanted to.

I just wanna say this review would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for the A/C being out the last few times I have come here. We get days over 85 degrees in Jacksonville with almost 100% humidity. I love it here and will happily spend over an hour looking for books and browsing. I also will happily spend my money here. Jack is an amazing store manager who cares about his role in the store and is always super friendly when I come by. Bryson helped me today and he was a great help also, very friendly. It would be nice to come in and be able to spend the amount of time I like to spend in here without it being a health hazard.

This place is awesome! HUGE selection of comics, games, records, CDs, Funco, and so much more. The cashier that checked us out was very kind and helpful, thank you man it was the best part of the visit.They need to partner with a local coffee shop and places to read, also put in some gaming tables in the back for game nights!Cool stuff definitely check this place out!

They sell everything well over retail and selling things to them is ridiculous. They buy at 10% of the value if you want cash and 20% if you want store credit. So $800 of funkos was $80 cash, absolute rip off!

This place is so much more than we thought it would be. They have amazing, hard to find books and so much to look at. I assumed it was a book store, but they have music and games and other entertainment items as well. My husband and I had a great time scoping the store out

2nd and Charles is great. It's especially nice if you don't have a specific thing you are looking for. They get in new used items every day. So you never know what you are gonna find. Sadly I have burned out my wife on 2nC because I can spend a ton of time in there going through shelves.
