The lady was nice , but for my Yorkie weight is 6 pounds and has absolutely no problem with bathing him or trimming him he will sit and let you do whatever you need to do with no problem. The price of $70 for a trim and nails clipped and bath that's very pricey and I will not be back there and their trimming was not at all good he had long spurs of hair and I feel I was taken advantage of, had he been ALOT of trouble to handle I MIGHT could understand the price BUT that is absolutely not the case . I personally could have done a much better job. But unfortunately I was not able to do it due to health reasons at this time . I wish them all the best in their business but it's definitely not worth the high price for me ..

Worst groomer I have been to in 60 years! Spent soooo much time explaining how I wanted my doodle to look. I understand that he was very matted in places and that the body would be trimmed very short. No problem with the body hair removal. I was perfectly clear to leave the face and ears alone...just cut out the mats themselves, even if it looked choppy. They completely cut the whiskers and chin hairs off! I didn't even recognize my own dog. Every dog that goes there seems to come out looking like a poodle, no matter what the client wants. Check out their Facebook photos. It would seem that the trimmers only showed up on the days they taught Poodle cuts, and skipped the rest. Yes, it will grow back, but for 135.00 for a grooming, I would expect that the client be listened to. Run, don't walk away from this horrible place!!!!!!Now, to respond to Groomingdale's response:1. I spent 20 minutes with Devin explaining that I knew the coat was matted (due to my 2 knee surgeries in three months). I told him to cut it short but "not like a sheep". They did it just like a sheep, maybe an eighth of an inch long...all pink skin showing. The hair was not that matted, and could have been left a little longer....it was just easier for you to do a quick shave.2. I told him that the face should be left as intact as possible and that I didn't care about the look, just cut out what mats needed to be cut and leave the rest. I told him I didn't care about the holes, just the Doodle look. As for "humanity over vanity" I was the one who told you to just cut the mats out, and not try to brush them. I told you that holes or gaps were fine with me.3. I informed you that my dog was a drama queen and that I had sedated him with instructions by my vet. I don't think he has "fits". After the horrible grooming session with you, he will be even harder to groom in the future. Thanks a bunch.4. I gave you my phone number and told you to call me if you needed me or if there would be any changes. You decided you knew best and ignored my wishes. My dog looked absolutely horrible . ....not to mention the razor burns from cutting him so close to the skin.Instead of just accepting that you did not listen to the customer, and did what you wanted instead, you are trying to place the blame on the customer and the dog. One quick call if you had any problem could have prevented this problem, but you couldn't find the time or didn't want to make the call.You had a tough dog to groom and could not rise to the task. Just accept the fact that you failed the dog and the customer and quit making excuses.

I’m so pleased with how Groomingdales grooms my Australian Labradoodle! He’s a puppy and really enjoys going to the groomer. They take the time needed to do it right. I highly recommend their services!!

We love Groomingdales. They are so sensitive to the animals. Their groomers are top shelf and it’s easy to tell that they love their jobs. If I had 10 thumbs it would be 10 thumbs up!

My 9 year old Chihuahua/ Jack Russell mix has only been groomed once before. She is allergic to fleas and recently had a terrible allergic reaction. I brought her to Groomingdale's based on the website's promise of gentle care. I wish I had taken before and after photos- my long haired girl is now soft as butter. She came home smelling sweet and just adorable. I have been able to treat all her hot spots now and she looks and feels so much better. Thank you Sharon! We'll be back soon and will probably be signing up for the monthly program. I can't recommend them enough!

Very disappointing. First few grooming appointments went well. After that things went south pretty quickly. They have no administrative staff so no one is going to ever get back to you no matter how many messages you leave. At our last appointment we were very specific about how much to cut off of our dog. The night before we had brushed her thoroughly and discovered no matting or major knots. We show up after the appointment is finished to pick up our dog and they had shaved her down in the middle of winter and didn’t call us to give us a heads up or let us know or give us any options!! After that experience we tried calling many times to discuss what happened but no one called us back. We canceled all of our future appointments. And now they’re raising their prices! They need an administrative staff to help communicate. Don’t recommend. Go elsewhere.

I am so happy I found this place! There are a lot of options in town so it can be overwhelming. Groomingdales was the first place that answered the phone so that's who I went with.Devon and the other girls that work there are so sweet. Devon explains things well and always gives feedback on how my dog did during his services. She is clearly very knowledgable about different dog coats and offers helpful suggestions about what to do at each visit. The rare time there is a delay, she communicates and keeps me updated. My dog always looks and feels great after! He loves going and wags his tail constantly when he's inside. Highly recommend!

I moved here a few months ago from another state and I was looking for a groomer for my pure breed Maltese. When you walk in the salon, everything is wide open for you to see, no secrets there! I am feel so blessed to have found Devon the groomer here! She is so kind to my Teddy, I can see her love for animals and believe me that’s very important, this isn’t just a job to her and it shows. She also AMAZING at her job! My Teddy is a pure breed Maltese that requires a lot of skill to groom. He looked absolutely PERFECT. I highly recommend her and recommend the salon! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been taking my dog to Devon for over a year and she has always been a professional, loving and tremendously talented groomer. She adores her furry clients and treats them ALL like her own. I would highly recommend her and know that if you see a low rating, it is because it is either someone who would never give anyone a good rating or there MUST have been a misunderstanding! She is ALWAYS fair with pricing and ALWAYS grooms my baby boy well.

We have a great Pyrenees by the name of Daisy and we had her groomed here for the first time.The staff is very friendly and took great care of our Daisy. She looked beautiful when we picked her up. Her fur was super soft, they trimmed her coat exactly the way we requested and I couldn't have wished for a better outcome.I strongly recommend this groomer.

Not only do these guys do an EXCELLENT job on our dog (cut, shampoo, brush), but you can tell that they genuinely love and care about him, which means a LOT to us. We know that whenever we drop our little dude off, he’s going to be getting plenty of love and having a great time. He loves his spa days, and WE love how handsome he looks when he gets done with his appt!! 💕

From the minute Amanda answered the phone, I knew she was professional and a true animal lover. We needed our dog groomed last minute and not only was she able to fit our pup in for a bath, but she went above and beyond in caring for our fur baby. The worst communication and no call backs. My daughter has 2 dogs; shes not gotten any call backs as well and I now have a new pup...yall obviously don't want to keep your clients or get new ones. I'm sure the old owner is as disappointed as I am. Even as I left message of Lexi passing away to yall, no call back of concern; tried again to get my new rescue in...still no call back. Take down your SO SWEET CARING website cause your so NOT that at all.

Y'all, STAY AWAY from Groomingdales Pet Salon. They are liars and cheats. Unbelievable, horrible experience. They tried to increase the price from $55-$60 up to $80 when I picked my dog up and refused to let me take her for the $60. Insanity!! This morning they said she was in such great condition when I dropped her off, commented on how she wasn't matted. Y'all, I brush her regularly, brushed her last night. She didn't have a single mat or tangle. Unreal. Schisters. Literally, they took her to a back room and locked her up, refusing to let her go home unless I paid the $80. My dog was terrified and smells horrible from being so upset. Other dogs were yelping and squealing in pain while being groomed. The original owners were SO MUCH BETTER.#Bad Business#BadPeople

Will never go anywhere else!!! One of my friends told me about Groomingdales because they take their pure bred bichon there. My friend is very particular about who grooms their dog so I thought I must give them a try. I have to say amazing things about Devin. She is the only groomer who has been able to gain my dogs trust As she’s gentle and takes whatever time needed to make your dog feel safe. My dogs have never looked better. Devin you’re amazing and thank you so much for caring for animals the way you do – it shows!!

I’ve tried several groomers in the area and Groomingdales is the best. They are always willing to work with my crazy schedule. Groomers are wonderful with my dog and she always looks fantastic after a groom. People always ask where I get Maddie groomed. Devin is the best!

Brought my white maltese for grooming first appointment. Returned to me with a nicked tongue. By the time I got home she had blood all over her chest and legs. Her tongue was black and she was a mess. I had to bathe her again. Will never return to this place. Beware of Groomingdales. No excuse for injuring my dog.
