*I did not visit this store* This review is purely based on how impressed my SISTER was on her visit to this location. I'm also very impressed based on her experience and photos of this location. Relocating from the Charlotte area, there weren't high expectations of the store going in. However, my sister said this location SMELLED GOOD (honestly, a first in our opinion), was clean, organized and had friendly service. She even stopped to share this with the manager and discovered how small the world actually is.Compare Foods is known for their diverse product selection and they didn't let my sister down! If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely stop by if there's a need.

They're nice people that run the place, it's just in the wrong place of Henderson. My father is a big man, drives a new black GMC Denali which attracts attention. He also carries but I still worry that something big will happen and worryPray for Henderson

Horrible customer service wanted to purchase some sugar with a debit card. sugar with tax ends up being $4 and you say I need to spend $5 to use my card. Ok the sugar will stay right where it is. That’s outrageous

This store is very clean and when you walk in you automatically know it. The prices are competitively lower the some of the larger chains and that includes Walmart. The fresh produce looks nice along with the meat and I tastes good.I would recommend this location for your shopping 🛒

I love this store because it brings me back to NY City, when my grandma would take me shopping at night at the grocery store. But today was even more special, I got to take my Mom there an she loves it also because it reminds her of when she grew up in Brooklyn.

I go there to get purchase small chicken wings because they are great and have a decent price. However, the owners were very rude!! When I gave him an $100.00 and asked for a receipt of my purchase, he began to say " You don't deserve a receipt!! Your money is fake!! And began to talk very loud to his Hispanic co workers.Of course, I demanded my receipt and walked out after he threw the receipt.I have always worked very hard for my money!! And I will certainly will not spend it there ever again!!!!.....FYI....IF IT WASN'T FOR YOUR CONSUMERS YOU WOULDN'T AN INCOME COMPARE FOOD.... HENDERSON,NC

I shop at Compare Foods for my meats only. This store is clean and their prices on meats are very competitive with the major grocery chains. The thing I like the most is that I can get normal size chicken legs, wings and thighs here. Most stores now have chicken legs so huge that they could pass for Turkey legs lol. The employees are courteous as well.

Love their select Mexican food us by far the best thing that has happened to henderson. The meat is beyond the cheapest in the whole town and the seafood is wonderful.

I love the store, clean cheap oh great deals especially in fruit and vegetables department, friendly people, also ready to help also have people to speak in English or Spanish, very nice ONLY PROBLEM is Compare Foods close too early, when we have to work late especially in summer time, leave work 7,8and 9 clock,Need to pick up items for supper and lunch next day and they are closed, really wish they could stay open at least till 10 PM.Thanks Compare Foods for your services you provide for your customers.😊😊

The store is clean and neat. Wide variety of Mexican food items as well as foods. Sell some items in bulk. Check dates on items before purchase. I did find a pack of tortilla wraps that where out dated.

Shopping wasn't bad at all.. it's the customer service at the register! Cashier didn't greet me or my daughter, didn't say have a nice day, didn't even attempt to make eye contact! I always put my groceries the way I want them bagged and SMH they was a mess even though I tried to tell them cans with cans , boxes with boxes! Need to train your cashiers n bag boys how to leave their problems at home and be friendly with paying customers and how to properly bag groceries. It's never ok to put bananas with can goods or can goods with boxes!

Great store, for groceries, especially produce,great prices very clean and in order very well stocked, friendly people eager to help, can pay bills phone, lights among other bills inside at their paystation and can send money thru Western Union and 💰 Money Gram. English and Spanish speaking people, also can do Money transfer and pay bills in either language English or Spanish. I love shopping there.

I shop at Compare once or twice a month, as a reward to myself. No, really! It's like a world bazaar in there to me. Lots of stuff I don't see elsewhere, and can't get anywhere else. I learned to love chili-powdered watermelon lollys, just because I'm always willing to try something different.You can cash a check or pay a bill at Compare, and they provide all kinds of service to the underbanked at reasonable rates.My dream for them is to convert the back corner of the store into a web studio, and do online cooking demos. They look at me like I am CRAZY every time I mention it, but I don't buy much meat at Compare because I don't know how to prepare it. I would really love to see local women learn to use Google Hangouts to demonstrate authentic Latin cooking methods online!The fruit and produce are fresh; the onions are smaller and more pungent than the chain gro-sto's offerings, and I love the little potatoes that cook up in no time at all! Every time I go to Compare, I try to pick up something I've never tried before. A little culinary adventure to spice things up, make life a little sweeter.
