Wow I am so impressed with the pet shop- I had been dealing with several others in the area and each time something comes up and they stop carrying my dog food I buy. I have been using Stella Chewy raw chicken small patties. I looked on the Stella Chewy website to find another place that sells this food. I got there before the store opened and waited till 10am. Doors opened right at 10 to a very pleasant young lady- Britney. Greeted us and asked how can she help. I wasn't the 1st thru the door so a few others went before and I looked around the store...clean and neat and didn't smell at all. All animals looked healthy and clean with food and water in one's that have it consistently. When it was my turn she was so VERY helpful. I brought an empty bag of what I buy for my pup and she eased my mind that they carry this and order Mondays and get it by Thursday. She also informed me that they will call when it arrives in the store. What FABULOUS customer service. ( I work at Lowes foods in cape Carteret and customer service is what we strive for) Britney was very helpful and took care of my order in a very timely manner.I want who ever owns this shop that you have a great employee. Thank you for easing my mind and making this as easy as can be. A new satisfied customer!! My pup and I are happy!!😊🐶

The pets here are well cared for. The store is clean and doesn't have that overpowering smell that some small petshops have. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their animals. They have the supplies you need at reasonable prices. I would much rather shop local than a big box store. So far this year, I've bought 3 finches from them and a lionhead bunny with all the necessary supplies.

A very cute, and very friendly place to get a pet, or just get some supplies. They're the only petstore near me who sells bunnies, so it was the ideal stop for me to get my baby lionhead. The store is neat, clean, and the staff is very helpful should you have any questions.

Our first time there today. They've got a good selection of different animals and a ton of pet supplies! Didn't plan on taking home another pet today, but we saw this gorgeous hairless female fancy rat and I could not pass her up!

The only place in the area that sells the goat milk my dog loves! The employees are always nice and help me with any questions I may have. I also like how they have the rewards program for the goat milk I buy (it gives you one free goat milk after a couple of bottles).

The staff is very knowledgeable about the foods and products available. They are willing to special order items for you. They do have dogs for sale which usually isn't a good sign of reputable breeding, but the staff assures us they are not puppy mill breeders... That is a decision you will have to make for yourself. Overall I've always had a good experience at Bill's and will continue to use them for my in town needs.

It’s hard to support this local business when my presence feels like an inconvenience to the employees. Majority of the staff is beyond rude, except for the lady who tends to the fish and the assistant manager. The staff who regularly works the cash registers are always on their phones, talking to friends who visit the store or aren’t paying attention to the customers. Honestly they can all use a class on customer service. Bare minimum care to the animals. Feels like a puppy mill. I’d rather drive to a different pet store than ever go to this store again.

Everyone here has been fairly pleasant and helpful. I go in enough that we chat from time to time. They have clipped my bird’s nails and done a good job.They do sell puppies which is never a good thing to see at a pet store. They assure folks that they are not from puppy mill’s but they very clearly are. This comes from someone who breeds health tested, AKC registered dogs. They are definitely puppy mill dogs from uncertain backgrounds.Not sure where their kittens come from.Other than that it’s a fine store.

I go to this store weekly and all of the employees ive come in contact with, with the exception of Brandy, are very unpleasant. They make me feel like I am bothering them by simply being in the store. It's a shame because my dog loves some treats that I can only find there.

I'm a General Contractor. I brought my daughter in after work one day, naturally in work clothes, we were interested in buying a dog. I asked if we could see a puppy, and was told "no", that only people interested in purchasing the dogs could pet them.I did not see the point in arguing, as this doesn't seem to benefit the dogs in any way, and was it essentially implied that we appeared "too poor to purchase".

Great little pet shop! Very wide variety of animals, and most seem pretty healthy! There’s a few fish dead in the tanks, but other than that their fish selection is nice as well! I love stopping in here when I visit Havelock!

Nothing good to say. We were in line for crickets and the employee helped someone and walked away completely. The other employee helped the person behind us. No one want to help us. The prices for the bugs are outrageous. The reptiles were not happy or healthy and there was an Employee hitting the glass on the reptiles.

I’m a regular here for crickets and have been for some time. I absolutely love it here. It’s a clean environment and all staff in super nice. They have helped me with any questions I’ve had about my pets and are great. I’ll never stop going here!

Unfriendly bad customer service with low knowledge of animals they were selling. There were Dead fish floating in tanks with live ones. All animal habitats were nasty.

Another Great Bill's. The woman knew what she was talking about and showed clear love for the animals here. They have a great selection of toys too, a bit faster than the Bill's in New Bern.

It is really the only LFS in the area, so not like there is much of a choice of where else to go unless you want to drive over an hour. It's a good place to get supplies, but when it comes to saltwater they could have a better selection. I am not sure who it is I have talked to in there but she isn't that knowledgeable when it comes to saltwater fish. Also their coral selection is mostly dead or covered in aptaisa. I mainly use them for supplies if I cannot wait to order online.

First time customer here. My family was immediately greeted helped. The staff of 3 were very helpful & professional. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is the prices are a little high on aquarium accessories and large dog beds, but most other prices seemed fair. We will definitely shop there again!

This place has everything for your pets, the people there are so very helpful. I didn't know anything about setting up a fish tank. They instructed me on everything. I now bought a 55 gallon tank. I can't wait to get information for transferring my 20 gallon tank over to my 55 gallon tank. Thanks to everyone at the Bill's pet store. I buy all my pet needs from this place. They have puppies, parrots,snakes you name it.

I really love this place it has cute pets like bunnies cats and ferrets. I would love to apply here
