I went to rescue business seafood with an expectation. I'm just getting a pound of shrimp. The owner and I talked like we knew each other for years. I walked away with a lot more knowledge of seafood and a new t-shirt for me and one for the wife. I will be back the next I am in the OBX.

I cannot give this place high enough praise. Friendly staff, truly fantastic steamed shrimp... 2 pounds of them! Order them Risky Style. We bought the last 27 oysters of the day and hung out by the water to shuck them and have a few beers. There's a learning curve to do it yourself, but a very fun experience and they were clearly fresh out of the water and untouched. Worth the drive.

There are only a couple seafood markets near the Hatteras Village and this place offers a pretty good selection. We got some sea scallops and shrimps, and the prices were reasonable. The owner was friendly and helpful.

We are not locals and stumbled across them next to our hotel. Their boiled Cajun shrimp was amazing. The smoked tuna dip is a must try and made in house. We went back before leaving for vacation and the employee was extremely helpful. Showed us which catch would keep on our drive and how to freeze when we get home. The fish looks amazing and the service was excellent.

They only cook shrimp on the spot but they do offer a cooler of assorted fresh seafood (frozen I think). Jerry Garcia photos and posters, with the dead playing on a radio. I ordered the big shrimp, two lbs worth. Peel and eat. Delicious. We shared them with a bunch of local regulars out front and drank some beers, while we watched fishermen cut up their catch. We will come back

Suggested by a friend who’s a local! Ordered a pound of shrimp, cooked spicy! Ready in 5 minutes and we sat down to eat and watched the guy cleaning fish by the dock. The shrimp was sooooo delicious and fresh and seasoned perfectly!! Going back tomorrow. Great place, hidden treasure!!

Small store located at docks. Purchased oysters and several kinds of fish. Everything was super fresh. They connected me with a crabber to pick up fresh caught blue crab which turned out great, inexpensive and fresh out of the water. It took me a couple days to find this store and get intel on crabs but was worth it, posting this review I hope helps the store.

We came here by chance for shrimp our first day on vacation and just got the shrimp….we then decided we hadn’t had enough! We came back all 3 days of our vacation! Shrimp is to die for, bacon wrapped scallops were amazing, can’t rave enough about the crab cakes!But the show stopper was the oysters!!! While they can’t shuck them for you they do sell shucking knives….best oysters i have ever had in my entire life….my mistake was only getting a dozen and a half!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. They'll answer any questions and give tips. Eg. We bought a container of tuna dip and we were advised to let it warm to room temp before trying to eat it with crackers because the cream cheese softens up and I'm glad they did. Always a decent selection of fish steaks/fillets, all wild caught. This is our go to for shrimp when visiting the island. Prices are reasonable but it's Very easy to spend money here if you love seafood!

Stopped in for some steamed shrimp and chatted with the owner about some bands we liked in common. Shrimp were awesome, we got the jumbo and they were plump and fresh, I'd highly recommend this place to get some seafood to take and cook. We will be back in October and I k ow I'll be stopping back.
