This is your typical Fiod Lion grocery store. They are pretty much like all of the other Food Lions. They do have a small parking lot, so it's hard to find a available spaces. They just opened a thrift store next to Food Lion so it's even more difficult to find a space now. Once the newness of the thrift store wears off, it might get better as far as how busy the parking lot is.

Darrell Tetterton is the most helpful and professional manager. He serves you with a smile always. Great asset to the company and exceptional customer service. He goes the extra mile to assist you in finding what you need in the store. If it's not on the shelf, he goes to the back to try and locate what you need.

This Food Lion has basically everything you need, and it's in a prime location. I've never had a bad experience here, if you need groceries, go check it out.

Although this store was recently updated, this particular location does not have an expanded product line like some of their other locations in the area. This is also a very congested area, and customers tend to park in the fire lane, which is totally annoying.

The store is almost all done with the remodeling, well stocked with many choices , Hot Asian and chicken bar, olive bar, fresh seafood , fresh sushi and fruit. always have your choices for self check out but they always have cashiers ready to check you out, or place your order and have it brought to your car..

Things were a bit hectic upon arrival at the store.I had trouble finding a cart that didn't have it's wheels locked up.I had to go into the parking lot to find one that worked. The store was clean but was depleted in some sections,I'm guessing because of the impending storm. There were only a couple of check out lanes open,which seems to be the norm anymore at stores. The cashier that waited on me was friendly and effecient in her job. Overall a nice place to shop and I always like to see my savings with my MVP card.

Nothing like having to fake stealing $100 worth of stuff to get the sorry people working here to realize that I needed someone's code to be able to buy the items I needed. It took over five minutes of the child working there sitting on her phone ignoring everyone to come and put in her code the first time I needed her and then the second time she couldn't be bothered enough to come put her code in even though I had been standing there for five minutes again. It took my husband and I pretending to steal our stuff to get someone to finally come over and fix our problem.

I have been in this store several times and I have not had a bad experience until today. First off, it’s after 5pm and you have all these employees standing around and only one line is open aside from self check out. I finally get up there and the employee was super rude and nasty. She proceeds to move my items from the register and didn’t fully explain why and moved to another register telling me “you can stay there if you want to” “I’m out of money”. Okay… then proceeds to talk about the customers behind me in front my face. And blatantly said she doesn’t have time for this and y’all can go to the Foodlion down the Street. I understand it’s busy but I’m tired of people working in customer service when they clearly aren’t cut out for it. Just like we can go to another food lion, you can find another job. Thanks

A year ago, when I moved to this side of town, I was still driving to the Food Lion, on 10th Street, next door to Sheetz and Walmart. Because, this store was not up to the standards of the 10th Street store. Luckily, for my gas tank, (its 1 mile away, instead of 12 miles) this store has done an "about face" and now deserves all the business we can give it. Cleaned up the premises, much better kept shelves and stock, and great improvements to the staff, I'd almost swear even the lighting was improved. Front end staff is more than courteous and helpful.

I order my food online and pick it up every week. My shopper is usually Dajeane. She is fantastic. She finds the freshest produce and pick out perfect substitutions if something is out of stock. She's why I shop at Food Lion online. Thank you so much Dejeane.

The staff with help you bring everything to your car. The carts are all over the place though. Everything is easy and hard to find because it's not very well organized and random things would be on the shelf with other things. Be careful because sometimes there would be expired things. The staff is kind sometimes depends who is helping you.

They have the freshest vegetables and fruit. I mostly shop for that only. Their other items are expensive unless it's on the MVP card then I can get a good deal. Their prices are also different depending on store locations and I don't think that is fair. But props on their fruits and vegetables!!

So I came into the store on Saturday the 4th and it was hectic very busy. There was only one register open at that so I took my time shopping hoping that they would open more registors or the line would die down. Well about after an hour I make my way to the front noticing that the line is still very long and still only one cashier. There were other employees standing around ,talking , and goofing off. JUst were not taking their job seriously .Someone caught my attention and touched my heart with overall kindness and that would be the young lady on the register her name tag read Brittany . She deserves alot of Recognition and praise. A Pat on the back , a Raise, Bonus something. Not only was she fast ,efficient, bagging her own groceries she did it with an amazing smile and attitude .She was kind and very friendly her customers. Her customer service skills were through the roof . An irritated customer about 2 people in front of me was giving this young lady a hard time and just damn right rude and hateful . Butms brittany just kept a smile during the whole ordeal and responded in kind. I think her positive outlook and how she handled the situation changed the mean womans attitude. Who then apologized for her rudeness and to ms brittany. Every customer That was in line in front of me she was smiling at she was laughing she was trying to make them feel better apologizing for the wait ect . So the name was Brittney on her nametag , and my receipt said cashier 222 so I'm not sure how yall do things but I do know that young lady definitely went above and beyond with her customer service and And her overall kindness . With the hate in the world now a days she was a bust of fresh air and positive energy . I honestly hope that this reaches brittany and the bosses see that they have a valued Employee . BRITTANY WAY TO GO . KEEP UP THE Phenomenal work and know your Customer service is hard to come by and chicka let me tell you *YOU GOT IT *KEEP IT UP YOU WILL GO FARR.JMCCLAIN

Great location! Now sometimes some of their groceries can be slightly overpriced, but the staff and ability to ALWAYS be able to get in and out of this store with no long lines is refreshing. Always staff waiting to help. Their Deli and Meats are really good quality and VERY good pricing in these sections.

A quick in-and-out trip. Got everything I needed for a week's dinner and was out in a record 13 minutes. Lines moved quickly, store was clean, dates on all my purchases were fresh. A happy consumer!

This is my favorite Foodlion. There are few things that I wish I could change: the Hint water needs to be other flavors besides, watermelon and blackBerries. Who drinks that? I'd like to see crisp apple, cherry and peach flavors.

They seriously need to train their staff. IAfter shopping I went up to the cash register and the cashier said zero worked to me. Didn't get a "hello or your total is or have a nice day" But she had no problem carrying on a conversation with the employee bagging in the next laneHorrible customer service. The only reason I went in there is because Wal-Mart had not received it's truck yet. It's pretty funny how I have a way more pleasant shopping experience at Wal-Mart. Considering Food Lion was not busy.
