Such a long story. Will try to make it short. Was in contact with owner for several weeks. I was looking for a male. He told me he had one, sent me pics , arranged for me to drive there to pick him up. We talked again and he told me that he didn’t feel comfortable selling me this particular pup because he had sand fleas and was being treated for them but he had another pup he agreed to sell to me . Asked him for pic , never received it but got text saying pup that had sand fleas was healed within a few day of previous text and after telling me that he wanted to treat him for 22 days with medication. My daughter and I drove their from Rhode Island, 11-12 hour drive. This poor little guy did not look good , lost fur, had spots on him that were also “being treated” and was never told about. Was told he was flea free . My daughter held him on her lap, we left and went down the street to get him settled in backseat for our road trip home. Her sweatshirt had at least 10 fleas on it. And truthfully, he did not look like a healthy puppy at all. We honestly were taking him because we felt so bad. But I have other dogs at home and has me stressed to Jim that I cannot pick that pup up if he has fleas and was told he absolutely was free of them…. Lies!! Needless to say, we took him back. Was told “ he didn’t have fleas this morning “. I could keep going but I’m sure I got the point across. I would never go back. Nor recommend this breeder to anyone!

Owner had communicated with us for 3 months following up until the puppies were ready to take home.Drove two hours to this location all for him to sell all of them by the time we showed up to pick up “our puppy”All along with two other families that drove 12+ hours with small children waiting to take their puppy home did the same thing with them.Texted us the entire way through.
