This place is amazing. I could spend all day talking to the owner and watching the fish. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what I needed and how to take care of my fish and axolotl. He has fresh and saltwater fish and plants. I will definitely be going here more.

They had a good selection of fish strange store not horrible but weird the owner followed us around like we were going to steal something which made my wife uncomfortable however he was very nice the little he spoke but well priced fish and mostly clean tanks the bettas had some fin rot but everything else looked pretty healthy but very reasonably priced fish with a wide variety

Locally owned and great Aquarium prices. This place is owner operated. The marine life are in excellent health. The water in his tanks are crystal clear. They take the time to explain care and maintenance of aquarium salt and freshwater a like.

Great place for the fish guy or gal. Ernest is probably the mist knowledgeable guy that I know in this field. I had them set up a 5t gallon cichlid tank at my office.

Ernest, his wife, and Pops were wonderful! While I’ve researched a fair amount on the trade, I am a complete novice and beginner. I came to browse and get an idea of where I wanted to start and Ernest was nice, personable, and knowledgeable! They are truly passionate about the trade and were constantly checking on the fish and corals. While I’m a novice, I’ve had beginner fish in the past and can tell that the fish and corals were very healthy and happy. There was no visible illness or physical injuries and none of the fish looked stressed. They had a very wide selection and prices were also VERY reasonable. I feel more comfortable and confident in the direction I want go in now and will definitely be back! Thank you for such wonderful customer service and welcoming experience!

Sooooo not happy about my last experience. The sad part is I have been buying fish from this store for years and now they have lost me. (I'm sure he doesn't care) anyway, I bought 3 small fish and a beta fish. The person that was helping me, I asked repeatedly if the beta could be with other fish or is it best to just keep him separate. (I don't know a lot about fish but I heard they were fighters) the worker assured me that they wouldn't be a problem and he beta would only fight other beta fish. The worker even showed me a video on his phone of his beta fish swimming around and minding his business. So I bought the fish thinking it's all good. Lesson learned! Now I'm down to only one fish! You guessed it, the beta! 🙄 I call the store and asked to speak to the owner because I don't want anyone else experiencing what I experienced. My grandbabies are upset behind this! As soon as I get on the phone speaking with the owner he immediately starts getti g defensive, over talking me to shut me up, talking aggressively, and basically bullied me over the phone saying that I took a chance putting him in the tank and he's not giving me any money back. (He stressed that twice) first off, I never asked for my money back. I simply wanted to tell him him to stop his worker from telling people the wrong information. He was horrible over the phone, and he is not a good person. Not sympathetic at all to customers for him to be such a Godly man, he's terrible! Good luck when you go there, you're going to need it.

A true “local fish store”. It is clear these people care. It is getting harder and harder to find a Fish store that isn’t just trying to push product or give customers things they don’t need / not ready for yet. These guys are hobbyists. If they don’t know, they will tell you and what they do know is profound and worth listening to. Definitely a business worth supporting.

Went there on Sunday 9-26 and got 2 Axolotos. One of them died Thursday 9-30. Called them and told them what happened the guy said to bring in a water simple so he can test but won't replace the fish. Mind you this fish was $60!! The fish didn't really eat the next day and wasn't thriving as good as the other. The fish shows no signs of being attacked by the other one. Those people are completely unprofessional. When I first went in a week prior to purchasing the fish I was told one price. When I went in a few days later I was told another. Gave them my info to contact me when they got 2 albino Axolotos they didn't. I had called in myself. The person told me they had 2 in. When I got there they did have 2 but one was way bigger than the other so I couldn't put them together and ended up getting a standard color one. DO NOT PURCHASE FISH FROM THIS PLACE!! THEY DON'T HAVE ANY GUARANTEE AND YOU WILL BE OUT OF YOUR MONEY!! $60 spent on ONE fish to live for only 4 days. Every other pet store had guarantee on expensive fish so go else where!!

To say they are knowledgeable is an understatement!!! Not only do they know what they are talking about, they are extremely passionate about it! Also passionate about the community and have great values!!! We stopped here today to possibly buy a fish, and ended up staying till passed closing time! I'm gonna say we spent about 2 hours mabie more, just gathering information buy 1 very knowledgeable guy!!! They both are!! Every question was answered, and just outstanding customer service. I'll go as far as to say that more than customer service, they are just incredibly genuinely nice people so it's not a "customer service " if it comes naturally. We stayed and enjoyed conversation with them well after closing and they were not trying to get rid of us!! Crazy how they made us feel like we had known them for a lifetime!! They definitely made 2 new customers today and we will happily drive an hour every time to go see them!! Outstanding business, and genuine hobbyists.

Happened upon this store while dropping DH at DMV and literally ran into the store as I live OOT & had been looking for a store like this. I have a RES (well, it’s my daughter’s but you know how that goes) and we’d just recently upgraded to a 65 gal. I was greeted by the owners who happily answered all of my questions and recommend solutions for the presented issues. I’d planned to return to pick up some aquatic plants but did not get the chance to return before my departure. Their knowledge is solid and they are very patient. You can tell they have a love for what they do and the staff they’ve hired reflect that as well. I finally felt confidence in the information I’d been given and it filled the gaps in my own independent research. Although I live several states away, I intend to become a repeat long distance customer. If you have saltwater or freshwater aquariums, or are interested in anything aquatic, I highly suggest you stop by.

Just went in today; we're new to the area and are setting up our fishtank. Earnest is so kind and knowledgeable! The staff seems great as well, but what really impressed me is how the other customers talk about him! They aren't all just customers... It seems have become friends as well.I will definitely be using Reef Architects for all my fish needs. HIGHLY recommend!!

My kids and I LOVE this store!! We have had so many fish that we got from commercial pet stores and they always die within 3 weeks. The the fish I got from this store have been alive 3 months and are thriving. They took time with us and taught us how to properly care for them. I will always go to Reef Architects.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, Lamar was an excellent help! This store has an good product selection! Corals, tropical fish, freshwater plants, pumps, tanks, food, heaters, various solutions and more. Great atmosphere and beautiful store. Very clean as well!
