We were traveling from Raleigh to Knoxville and needed to fill up def and diesel. We don't have a commercial account so there's extra steps involved with the app and Samantha was so knowledgeable about the app that she knew right away why our code wouldn't scan. It really shows when you care about your job! She was friendly and professional and fast. Love it.

This place is nicer than most. Big parking lot, lots of pumps. However, the showers are terrible. I have been here 3 or 4 separate times now, and every time, it's low water pressure and sporadic hot water. It depends on a toilet flush for you to get any bit of hot water at all. May start parking here and walk across the street for a shower and see if theirs are any better.

By Far favorite location to stop in the state, I will go out of my way to stop here within reason. Large and Open parking, have never seen it full. A Pilot is across the street as well as a SpeedCo and a Blue Beacon.Staff is always very personable and on top of their game. Never meet an unfriendly employee yet. And when they are not super busy, people are cleaning. 99% of the time the place is spotless for a truck stop.Bathrooms are spacious and very clean. Showers are the smaller but typical size, gets the job done. Laundry room is always clean. And I have never not had toilet paper.Plenty of Diesel fuel islands. Please stop and give them your business.

The girls at the counter are like on point Samantha and Cherelle. They’re like they need more folks like that and these truckstops work in the box. Good job flying J.

I would give this location more than 1 star but me being otr...cleanliness, distance from other trucks in front of you while backing and a good washer is highly important. This is one of the nastier truck stops and do not use washer number 2, your clothes will still be soaked with water after they are done washing...I had to squeeze the rest of the water out by hand. Clearly the employees doesn't care about the cleanliness of this location. The only good thing about this location is ample parking but thats even tight when backing up as far as the space between you and the trucks in front of you. Clean showers. Food area looks clean. Washer doesn't clean clothes well at all...I've attached a picture of my shirt and I had to pay twice to dry my clothes completely.

Clerk 450 I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but I want to give a shout out. This is one of the best service I’ve gotten so far in N.C and in the whole flying j and pilot fuel stops experience. The cashier was polite, nice and caring about other people’s safety (good hygiene practice)when handling cash and food. Thank you. A big plus ++The parking lot is big and a lot of parking spaces.The shower was clean. The shower room was a bit small but it gets the job done. I would Most definitely be staying here next time I’m around this area.

There is a clerk/cashier named Samantha. I gave my phone number for my gas discount. She put it in wrong. She wrote it down and put it In wrong again. Put it in wrong along with another phone number (also punched in wrong). Again and again.It appeared she didn’t want me to have a discount. Be careful folks. Large white woman with black hair.

Don't waste your time stopping here if you are doing reset. Showers are bad, two laundry machines for drivers, but one is broken. The other is being used by employees to wash towels for shower. Leaving zero machines for drivers to wash clothes. Food same as every other Pilot/Flying J. Dried out wings, nasty pizza, microwave hamburgers.

Has dual gas slips for RVs and campers to gas up!! Has Denny's restaurant here also!! Clean and well kept gas station. Staff was very helpful and friendly!Macdaddy Approved!!

This place is clean and people super nice however the lady that came to get a glass figure out of the case asked with attitude like she was bothered we asked for assistance for something that is locked up. She then took off with the glass throwing her keys up in the air with attitude the whole time and did not get a box??!! Whoever this key holder was definitely needs an attitude adjustment or not to work in public.....smh but thanks to the cashier she was super nice!!!!

Not only is dennys hours wrong but flying j has no breakfast either. And its like 80 degrees in the showers. Good luck getting dry after. This place sucks. Poor girl at the counter deserves a raise though.

Had a driver that broke down on exit 152 right across from the Loves in Mabane, Nc. I called Loves and asked if they could assist but they were to swamped. I asked the gentleman at Loves if he knew of any other place that could help me and he told me the Flying J just around the corner. Spoke with Dustin at the Flying J and he got me straight in. He had to order a part so the trailer stayed over night. Next day the part came in and my driver was able to pick up the trailer and deliver. Thank you Dustin!!!!

We always look on the app for locations that are RV friendly, including RV fuel lanes and RV parking. We were able to fuel, however the marked RV parking was full of single vehicles (stacked as if being stored there) and a broken down motorhome.We had to go elsewhere for a sit down meal and will avoid this location in the future.

Went in to get diesel for RV. No diesel. After already parking, they had cones blocking to get out. The guy that was putting sealing down on ground was no help. Husband went in to find out why nothing was happening with pump and the person said, oh we are out of diesel. They should have pumps covered or something. Place sucks. We had to back up with a trailer attached. They all were rude as well.

if i could leave a zero stars i would. i come here often to get food, today i came to get some food and a soda , all their sodas were out but they didn’t have any sign up saying so. I purchased a large , went to my car & tasted it, it was very gross. I went back inside and asked if I could get a different flavor, but all of the sodas were coming out clear. I asked for a refund and the manager (didn’t catch his name but tall male white) caught an attitude with me and got very judgmental about me asking for a refund. Not that it matters but 1. i’m currently pregnant and i treat myself to one soda a day for my cravings and 2. I live on a day to day paycheck. That was literally the last of my money for the day. He refused to give me a refund stating it was because I had no receipt but he’s the one who rung me up in the first place. I will never be returning, wish I could do something to get my money back but oh whale

They don’t give a spot to leave a review for PJfresh….so I’ll put it here. I’m very thankful for pjfresh but today at this location the chicken strips were far from fresh. They were hard and dry. We asked for 5 strips and when we got to our truck there were 10… most of them not edible…..pics should follow. These pics are from 3 different strips. All but 2 were inedible. Good place for parking for the night though

I was having a pretty terrible morning today and stopped here to pick up a coffee around 10:30. The woman who cashed us out with the colorful mask was so nice and cheerful that it completely improved my mood. I don't think she even realized how much her kind attitude meant to me, but it made me have a little hope that good customer service isn't totally dead. Thank you thank you thank you for seriously making my day.

Super clean showers! Plenty of parking, and they have Denny's. The staff is super nice too... Edit: the Denny's here is awful! I called into order a burger and nobody answered the phone so I kept calling back and they finally answered the phone to put me on hold and then nobody came to take the order. I finally walked inside the place an order and there were eight people standing inside. There was no one around to take orders. This isn't the first time this has happened here.

The truck stop is fine HOWEVER 11/28/22.. bought a bag of ice , not READY ICE brand as I was told there was some issue but rather they had bagged it themselves in their own ice bags, most of it melted over night in my cooler and left behind was dirt, and small leaves, etc. which means the ice itself had dirt in it..

Always stop here for gas when we travel to the western side of the state. Store is always clean, and the bathrooms are clean. Great selection of food items. Employees have always been very friendly.
