Was very excited to make this review. Came here last year when I was in town visiting, and absolutely fell in love! Such a great atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Live music, lots of games, wonderful menu. Love that the locals keep their favorite mug on the wall. Great little find !!❤️

I love coffee and this is the best coffee I've had so far in town. Everything single time. And the espresso drinks are a price that doesn't break the bank. Lots of coffee gives me jitters and this coffee only gives me life.Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful owners and staff. Amazing and fresh quiches and baked goods. My husband and I have already made friends just by hanging out here.Easy parking in the back, free wifi, live music on the weekends.It's a little dark when you first step inside and you might think "what am I getting myself into" especially if you come on trivia night and it's packed and loud, but come on in and you'll be happy. Or come on a Tuesday during the day and you'll have a nice couch to sit on for hours while drinking you amazing coffee and using great free wifi.This place will sorely be missed if it ever closes, if you are are local and have never come in, please come check it out, there is something here for absolutely everyone.Vegetarian options: Entirely vegetarianKid-friendliness: Lots of boardgames and couches and floor space for kids, especially during the day

I love this spot! If I were local, this would be my go-to spot for coffee. I had an Irish Cream today which I highly recommend but didn’t think to snap a photo till it was already gone. Very cool local hang.

I'd give this place a 5 star on atmosphere alone but then I had a coffee and it was damn tasty as well.I don't drink beer but it sure looked like they had to a good selection.There was a small performance area. I can only imagine how nice this place must be with the right musical act paint there.This place definitely stirred some memories of my favorite hangouts from when I lived overseas.Whoever runs the Rathskeller has done a great job with this place.

Cool, little bar/coffee bar tucked away on the backside of the main st in Franklin. We needed a little pick me up before hitting the road to get back home and the lattes we had were very good. The people are kind and warming. The atmosphere was chill, local, and laid back. They usually always have live music, this guy that prop lives there playing guitar and singing lol. It stays busy here so be warned there maybe a line to order but its worth the wait.

Their traditional European coffees are great quality. The ambiance is a perfect little cozy cave and it livens up when they have local bands play. Prices are reasonable and all their baked goods are homemade. This is definitely one of my new favorite places in Franklin.

Stopped in on a quiet Thursday noontime. Dined outside with our dog. Tasty veggie burger that was more like a sloppy joe. Super friendly staff. Nice selection of beer.

Never been to Franklin before and ended up at Rathskeller because it looked interesting. Was immediately put off by the “ski shop” smell upon walking in the door, probably because of being located in a basement, but overall a good coffee shop.

Tried out the garlic cheese bun - can’t tell you enough how amazing it is! They make them fresh in house. Chocked full of gooey delicious cheese!!!! These will be addicting XD Overall great spot with really chill vibes. Excellent place to meet up with friends for coffee!

The service here is great and the staff are friendly. Personally, I did not enjoy my visit too much but that is because of my preferences. The mood and atmosphere is calm, cool, and dim. I think it is an excellent pub that also has a full coffee bar. We ordered a steamer and a chocolate milkshake; both were quite good. There were multiple patrons there, and everyone was quite friendly. I wish we could have experienced the live music (there is a nice corner furnished with instruments). I appreciate that they have a large shelf with board games and books, alongside a Foosball table. The one couch they have is comfortable, but a little dirty and has a slight smell.
