New customer here, and I see why the Fletcher branch has 2 stars🌟 on reviews.We arrived 4 min. before 7 pm when they close but the elderly man was very rude about us coming close to 7 to pick up prescriptions. Perhaps they need to hire someone who is faster pace so that customers will be served in a timelymanner without all the lip service. Heasked for the DOB 3 different times, which caused more of a delay.🙄 After all of the conversation, we find out our old pharmacy hasn't faxed over the prescriptions, so it was a lose lose situation. A text update would have been nice, so we wouldn't have rushed there in the firsts place.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The fact that I’ve seen in person, every employee ignore the phone and multiple customers standing in line. But also to be on hold currently for 16 MINUTES. If you can take the energy to ignore your phones and customers for 16 minutes, you can use the same energy to answer a question that takes 2 seconds. Extremely poor work ethic and customer service. And this is definitely the last time I’ll be using them to fill any prescription. Do yourself a favor and use somewhere else. These people have no care or drive for the business they’re working for.Edited to add I stayed on hold for over 30 minutes. My brother made it to CVS and waited in line and back to my job before I even hung up. Decided to call my doctor and have them transfer it to Walmart.

When ordering refills without RX number I press option 7 to speak with the pharmacist.I called them at end of December to refill a prescription I was on hold for over an hour and no one answered the phone.So I went into CVS and ordered the refill and I told them that I had called and was on the phone for over an hour and their response was “sorry we are too busy to answer the phone”.If they can’t answer the phone they should hire an employee and only let them answer the phone when someone calls.The pharmacist that was working that day was also rude when I was making the complaint. Instead of handling the complaint he just said that they can’t answer the phone and work at the same time and I am like if you guys hire a few people to only answer the phone calls yes you could do both.For the past year they have been very rude to me and my mom and we are no longer going to be having services with them.I work at Ingles on Airport Rd Arden NC so I am in the process of switching to Ingles instead of CVS.Poor service everyone avoid CVS for pharmacy services

Slowest service. Every time I have to pick up my prescription, there is always long wait. Sometimes more than 30 mins. When the doctor sends in RX, you’ll never get it on the same day! This store needs more help and the pharmacy workers are always short staffed.

Zero stars….The pharmacy is very difficult to get hold of on the phone. It takes over 10 minutes just to get to the part of calling the department to get a pharmacist. It continues to ring and no one ever picks up (after waiting for over 30 min!) And when I go to refill on the app, it takes forever to fill or they cancel it and not let me know why or notify me it was canceled! Or refill and it takes a week when it should not take that long. I went back onto the app and saw it was canceled. Negative stars!!

This CVS took NINE DAYS to fill a prescription that has taken me a few hours or less at other local CVS's, like the one a few miles north on Hendersonville Road or the one in North AVL (both of those are very good pharmacy-wise). I wanted to have enough medicine before leaving for vacation but had to make do with a sparse supply. I'm sure glad it wasn't for something urgent or life threatening.On the other hand, checkout employees are friendly and always say hello, even though I use the self-checkout.I don't want to totally ream this store on a single pharmacy experience, but that's pretty bad; and the other low reviews tell a similar story. OK for retail purchases but I'd avoid pharmacy at all costs.

Wish I read the reviews before choosing this pharmacy! There is always a line, last time I visited this cvs pharmacy I had to stand in line for 30 minutes and calling them is no better. After a month of trying to get my medication from them I switched to a different cvs and got it the same day. I do not recommend this CVS pharmacy

My doctor prescribed a medication that is apparently available OTC for $14.99 but instead of telling me that when I picked it up, they charged me $52 for the same medicine. This is very poor business practice!

CVS has really gone downhill since Covid. The pharmacy is always days late filling prescriptions and no one ever answers the phone. Making matters even worse, the same company (Aetna) is also my health insurance and they force me to only get 30 days of medicine at a time and I am often end up buying other things from this terrible company since I need to go to their store so often. I saw news headlines this morning that they are making record profits and employees are striking, time to invest in your pharmacy employees! After sitting on hold for 15 minutes I started browsing Aetna's list of other "in network" pharmacies and got a 'Search Failed' error from their website, wonder why fixing that isn't a priority..

Worst pharmacy experience ever.Their hours are extremely limited (10-7) and they close for lunch (1:30- 2)I’ve sent 2 family members here 3 times to pick up my Rx because of my medical issue and they both waited in line so long they had to leave. Currently there are 7 cars in the drive through line and I also came on my lunch break earlier today and that’s when I found out it wasn’t filled yet, and it was called in TWO DAY ago!CVS has lost me as a consumer because of this location specifically!

I can't speak on the pharmacy, but I'm pretty sure the older lady working in the front has some biases. I was purchasing allergy medication and intended on using the self-checkout. The lady noticed me and asked if I needed help. I told her I'd just use the self-checkout but she insisted on ringing me up because she thought I'd need ID for the Claritin. The Claritin that requires an ID is *only* sold in the pharmacy. She didn't need to "help" me. I think she just assumed I was stealing.

Every cvs I've had my meds filled at had done so in a very timely manner. This cvs gave me a really long estimate on when they could have it filled. I needed my medicine but I waited the length of time they had told me it would take but to my surprise ny medication took almost another hour to fill. I had to go on my lunch to pick up my meds so this made me look back to my employer. Really displeased right now.

I can’t believe I’ve used this CVS as long as I have. They always have issues with my prescriptions! I went today at 10:45am and was told to come back at 4 and it would be ready. I get there at 4:25 and by the time I get to the window, it’s 4:55. Dusty seemed to be so “helpful”. Told me it wasn’t ready but could be ready in 15-20 minutes, then proceeded to say “we don’t even have anyone filling prescriptions right now”. Which one is it? How can it be ready in 15 minutes if there isn’t staff there to fill it? This happens EVERY TIME I pick up my prescription. Today was my last straw. 30 minutes in the line with a screaming toddler past the time they said it’d be ready. I’ve given it so many chances and I’m disappointed every time.

I had a horrible experience waiting for a prescription. Had to wait almost a hour for some prescription burn cream from a huge wound and they took almost a hour, then they said they were going to expedite, after way over the time I walked in to see what’s taking so long and they had it ready for over 15 minutes. Thanks CVS letting me sit in excruciating because of your lack of caring. Will never go there again!!

Without a doubt the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Slow inefficient and just plain bad. They text you and tell you your meds are ready then when you get there, there's always one on hold. That's stupid. If they don't have them all finished why text you and tell you they're ready. Makes no sense at all. Even our doctor complains about CVS. As soon as we get our last prescriptions filled there we're changing pharmacies. I have talked to people who use other pharmacies and they don't have this problem. Just CVS. They are a joke when it comes to pharmacies and the joke isn't funny.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. But I gotta give props to the man with the white hair that’s typically at the drive through. I just love him and his dry sense of humor. This CVS should be shut down! They have no business allowing this joke of a pharmacy to continue. They are going to keep up their passive aggressive games until they cost a customer their life.Twice they have not had the prescription my family needed in stock and did NOT bother to inform us until we went to pick up the prescriptions. Today, the old guy in the pharmacy wouldn't help us find another pharmacy who had it in stock. So we began to call around. When we found another pharmacy chain who had it in stock, we called him back and asked him to transfer it. He said the 2nd pharmacy has to call him and request it. We called the 2nd pharmacist back and when they attempted to call cvs HE would not pick up the phone. Now, for a SECOND time my family has to wait until tomorrow to get medicine we went to urgent care for today.CLOSE THIS STORE. OR FIRE THE PHARMACY STAFF AND START OVER.

Every time I call, I wait a minimum of 10 minutes on the phone for someone to pick up. It’s gotten to the point where I press two and say I’m calling from a medical office, or else they just won’t pick up at all anymore. My doctor called in the same script 3x over the course of a month, and CVS kept telling me they never received my script. Yeah right! More like people just don’t want to do their jobs. No accountability. Horrible time management. Rude on the phone. A script at CVS costs $90 when it costs $13 at Publix. I’ll never come here again.

I went to have pictures taken from my phone of my great granson. The lady that was helping me knocked my phone off the counter and broke the screen. I mean cracked from top to bottom. Some lady called me and just started talking crazy about fixing it and I'm too old for that bs so im just buying another one and screw CVS.Be careful when shopping there.

I’ve been a patron of CVS for many years & have never had an issue until this location. I called in a refill for a morning sickness prescription. They have a new automated call in system. So my husband goes some hours later bc I really needed my refill today. They tell him they don’t even have a record of my call in nor do they have enough to give me for my entire refill. (I’m not sure why they hadn’t ordered more to begin with since they have customers that require it). So they offer to give 3 days worth. Fine. So he waits. They are taking their time so he leaves to go get his prescriptions at Walgreens and asks them about inquiring how I can switch to their pharmacy. He fills out form and they call CVS to get the transfer started. My husband gets back to CVS and the pharmacist begins acting rudely towards him. She tells the person at the register they’re not giving him the 3 day supply for free anymore bc of the transfer. Right in front of him. It’s not that much money, so he doesn’t mind paying it, but what a rude thing to do! And what a way to make sure you lose paying customers. It’s not so much having to pay as how she reacted to my husband needing to get this prescription filled for me! That’s why he asked Walgreens as CVS never seems to have this medication on hand. I miss the CVS locations in Florida, they were always very professional, unlike this location.

We have been to many CVS pharmacies and this is by far the worst! They are not friendly, take their frustrations out on the customer, don't put any effort into problem solving, and never hesitated to call and say WE needed to fix the problem when all pharmacies done those things in the past did for us.There is always a long wait and meds where never ready. They are way understaffed for the amount of people coming in as that is the only one in that area that Medicare approves for many. So having that said, I would look elsewhere if possible to get your meds if you need them monthly.

The older man who is a tech at this pharmacy should retire from this industry if all he is going to do is patronize at-risk individuals who are still trying to be careful DURING a pandemic. He is condescending and brazenly rude. I'm surprised he is allowed to "assist" customers with his attitude. Will definitely not return to this CVS.

Walked in at 5:45 on 4/6/2019 the pharmacy doesn't close until 6. The girls or employees were already shutting down. I tried to get my son's prescription filled cause we just came from urgent care. The pharmacist told me she didn't have the time to fill. I've been doing business here for years. To me you keep working until time to close. Or even long enough to help a customer. This is poor business and will take my business where a company cares about there customers. Will not shop at CVS again.

It is bad policy to do COVID tests at the drive thru for picking up prescriptions holding up the line!! Why can’t they be given what they need for Covid testing and pull aside and come back through or walk it over to the box!! I’m just about ready to change pharmacies. Some of the staff are very rude and short. I realize every business is short staffed these days but this place has gotten ridiculous!

If you want your prescriptions on time, you must actually talk to a staff member and not go through the automated pharmacy service. The automated service has messed up enough of my prescriptions to actually write this review. The staff is great though!
