I went in today thinking that I would be there waiting for about 4 hours, surprisingly I was only there about 2 hours and 40 minutes. My sales representative was a young knowledgeable woman by the name of Maddie, she kept me posted on the progress of my car. My technician was Heather who by they way did a wonderful job on my car. It feels like I’m driving a new car. These two young ladies were awesome!!!

Today, I did not have too much information about the tires required for my vehicle (4Runner). I was told something by the dealership but I wanted to know more about the real cost of all-terrain tires. Angela was extremely helpful in guiding me to make a decision. She was very knowledgeable and super polite in providing information. I will be setting an appointment for my new tires. Thank you again.

Had new tires installed yesterday they did excellent job on the installation. The balancing of the tires was excellent. I did a 3 Hour Rd. trip after the tires were installed no issues and the Cooper tires that they put on or some of the best tires I’ve ever had thanks to the whole team,

Even though it was near closing, everyone at the Fayetteville, NC PEP Boys (store 080)went above and beyond to take care of us after we hit debris from a accident on I-95 that caused our rear tire puncture. They all were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They all were very hospitable. Treated us like family. They could have as easily turned us away. Thanks again to all involved. Angela, Teresa, and the two service techs that worked on the tire. I apologize for not having their names.

Pep Boys helped me so much! I went to the Mazda dealership to see what was wrong with my car and it ended up just being the battery. Mazda was going to charge $358 to put the battery in and diagnose it as being a battery issue. Pep boys was right down the road, and they charged me $270 for a new battery, put it in for me, and gave me a battery protector. They were so helpful and understanding, and I didn’t even have to make an appointment. I was helped by Maddie and Angela. 10/10 recommend!

4 hours for an alignment and balancing tires is crazy and the process for getting them to check on the status is frustrating. Dashcam footage shows the services were done and that the car was pulled around the front for pickup an hour and 30 minutes after I picked up my vehicle and it was a hassle getting the staff to actually check on the status, I was told if I hadn’t got a text then it wasn’t ready. It was the staff that failed to complete the appropriate paperwork and I was forced to wait for an already completed job because the staff didn't want to check on the paperwork.

What refreshing experience, they helped me in a emergency situation, car radiator leaking and pump broke, I had no appointment and they accepted my car and got it up and running reasonably quick and helped me with discounts as I wasn’t prepared for a large expense. Both the service advisors and technicians offered above and beyond service, I’m thankful and will be a loyal customer to Pep Boys!

The technician and manager were very nice and professional. The technician kept me informed on what was going on and advised me on everything that was needed. I needed to get my EV inspected for registration. They completed the inspection for a very fair price. I also asked them to rotate the tires and align the tires as well. My brother suggested that it would be a good idea for me to buy the lifetime alignment package. The guy at the register pointed me to a 30% discount on their website for lifetime alignment.Thank you!

I’m very skeptical about leaving my car with anybody as I’ve had issues with shops before, but he made sure I was comfortable and talked me through every detail of the situation! Bought new tires and rims were scratched during installation. They were scratched all the way through the paint to the metal. I was told I’d be contacted by someone to have them repaired and 3 days later still have not heard anything. All 4 rims were scratched to some degree however one was severely scratched.This is not the first set of tires on my vehicle that have been replaced. The first set was done by the dealership and they didn’t have an issue. Also I was allowed to book an appointment for tires that were not in stock. I ended up having to change the tires to another model just to get new tires.

On 04/24/2024, I saw that my tire was going flat aporoximately 5 minutes away from this store. By the time I got to PeP Boys, it was completely flat. Maddie greeted me with a smile and assisted me. When I stated that today was my birthday, she let me know that she would try to get me in ASAP and wished me a Happy Birthday. Usually, I'd be so frustrated but her calm, friendly demeanor is what I believe kept me calm as well!! Maddie let me know that the tire couldn't be patched and assisted me with purchasing a good brand equivalent to what I had. We had a great conversation while she continued to brief me on my purchase. Because of this positive experience, I will return to PeP Boys for the replacement of the other 3 tires. Mattie should be commended for providing EXCELLENT customer service!! Her kindness reassurred me that I would still have a great 48th birthday!! I commend Chris as well!! He was also very friendly and helpful while processing my checkout!!

This has been by far the slowest place I have ever had work done. Called 3 different garages to see if I could have a state inspection done, decided to go with Pepboys because it’s well known instead of the small shops. They told me it would be 10-15 minutes for the inspection. I have been here for 2.5 hours and it still is not done yet. I called the two other garages and they said they could have it done (including wait time) in 30 minutes or less. I should have just gone literally anywhere else- do not waste your time going here.

Came to get my work van serviced and get my tire checked out through fleet and everything went great they were able to identify the nail in my tire and got it taken care of quick! I can tell their were some new guys in training tryna to learn the way around but Jorge made sure everything went smoothly and didn’t let the new guys make any mistakes big shout out to Jorge!

Went in to Pep Boys for an alignment and tires yesterday. They mounted and balanced the tires fine but somehow my alignment went from pulling to the left to now pulling all the way to the right. The tech who worked on my car was Bobby M who I doubt test drove the car after aligning it, and if he did, he didn’t care to fix his mistake. I would take the car back but I don’t have faith that they’ll do a good job at all and on top of that, they aren’t polite.

When I go in I always try to see Jorge! He is knowledgeable, pleasant, and will take time to explain things to everyone! Great personality, and always willing to take the extra time to make sure customer is satisfied! Recommend him and Pep Boys to anyone!!!!

Last minute brake service and tire rotation they accommodated me after 5 pm did an overall assessment of my car by 7:15 I was out with new brakes rotors and tire rotation. You guys have exceeded my expectations so very happy and thank you to the lady at the front for offering me a cinnamon bun... Great customer service

They got my vehicle in for a tire service and found them to have some good prices. Normally, I go to Blacks Tires, but after price checking... Pep-boys it was. I never heard of this brand, but it's not like i know it all. They got me 580 miles in a single day without any issues.

I usually really like Pep Boys, I've had work done there before and never had any issues. This time was different though, they replaced my front brakes and after having the car back I noticed that the front passenger side brakes were not wearing properly. I brought my vehicle back and they replaced the front brakes again. I was not charged for this rework. After having my vehicle for two weeks I noticed that the front passenger side brakes were now not wearing evenly. I brought the vehicle back to have it looked at and this time they charged me $330.00 for replacing the brakes for work that was done incorrectly or the parts were defective. Either way.....I don't feel I should have been charged for work that they were performing for the second time in as many weeks.Update: The store reached out to me and corrected the issue. Turns out, the mistake was made because of shift change. Great staff!

I went to PepBoys in September 2023 and got a complete brake job, pads and rotors changed. 6 months later, my vehicle sounds horrible and is scrubbing very bad. I only drive to work and home most days. And I despise hard braking so I know I wasn’t rough on them. I’m no mechanic but I don’t feel like within 6 months of spending a good bit of money to get my vehicle brakes right that I should be having to do it again.

Busy place, intake tech was pleasant enough but didn't seem to be to concerned. The place was very busy on s Saturday. After 2 1/2 hours and bring told the car was next still n no one had check it. When I questioned I was told the car was 3rd in line. I told the person that one of the in take people had called and said it was next. So I questioned it and the mechanic from the back got an attitude grabbed the white up walked outside to the Jeep turned around went inside and said nothing they could do. So I told the to go ahead out a new tire on it. The garage tech was an absolutely rude individual. All of this on top of losing a family member and another being deathly sick it's more than I can take I would never use this place again

First of all, the lady at the front is very rude. I have booked an appointment online yesterday, 09/05 at 7:30pm and when I came in at the shop, she told me that they don’t accept customers after 7pm and that there is a glitch in the system. I was given a 5pm appointment today, I came in for a flat tire repair, I showed the technician the puncture on the rear right side, the technician looked at it and said that it needs to be replaced. I agreed to that and had to wait an hour until its done. When they told me its done, they had replaced the wrong tire(rear left). They told me that its the left one that is leaking, when in fact, I have checked the tire pressures yesterday coz I have my own portable compressor. When the indicator light on my car shows that the tire needs air, I always check the tire pressure of all four tires and all other three tires have good pressure except the rear right. So I ended up paying $315 for two tires that are replaced instead of one and even though I came in for that flat tire repair only. I was not able to raise a complaint to the manager because I’m in a hurry. I have my kid who really wants to go home and I had to fetch my wife from work. I am just wondering if this normally happens to customers like me and that I have to pay a lot for that kind of service. I would not recommend this place.Update: I have raised this concern last Sept. 7, sent an email to customer relations as advised. Until now, Sept. 19, the case has not been resolved. There is no attempt on your end to make contact with me. Still not recommending 0/10. Poor customer service.

I recently had a less-than-satisfactory experience with the customer service representative at Pep Boys on Skibo Rd. My scheduled appointment was at 5 PM, an hour before their closing time at 6 PM. However, it seemed like my appointment didn't matter much to the representative.Upon arrival, I was met with an indifferent attitude as if my business was an inconvenience. The representative informed me that it would take a while before the technician could attend to my vehicle. While I understand that it was close to closing time, it was frustrating to feel like my appointment was an afterthought.The lack of professionalism and enthusiasm left me feeling unappreciated as a customer. I had expected a more attentive and customer-centric approach, especially since I made an effort to book an appointment in advance.It's disheartening to encounter such subpar customer service, as it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. I hope Pep Boys on Skibo Rd takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for future customers. A positive and welcoming customer service experience can go a long way in retaining loyal patrons and attracting new ones.

I received an alignment at this location which took 2hrs to complete. This is not due to the high volume of customers, but due to the lack of professional service. During my wait I watched Desk Associates and Service Associates play around as if they had nothing to do or as if customers were not waiting on their vehicles. I find it extremely disrespectful to waste someone’s time because you want to play at work instead of completing our service needs to get us out the door.(Desk Agent was rude at the end and threw my key on the counter instead of handing them to me.)
