Today was my first time getting my German Shepherd groomed successfully in over three years! After dropping her off at other groomers I would always get a call to come pick her up because she’s too aggressive. Thank you Samantha for being patient with my girl and doing a wonderful job on her! Will definitely be back and I highly recommend, this establishment for your dog!

First time we leave our dog for boarding not knowing how it works. A little scared to trust someone with our dog. He stood for 7days while we were on vacation. First we called a couple of days into our vacation to see how he was doing being away from home and at first they didn't know who he was and told us that he wasn't there. My husband had to let them know it was for boarding and it took 30 min to find out. Then they called us a day before pick up that he was ready to be picked up and ended up getting confused with another dog. On the day we dropped him off we had asked for them to bathe him before pick up and was told he was scheduled for 8am and that we can pick him up after. We got a call at 9am the day he was getting picked up to see if we wanted them to bathe him before we picked him up. We assumed it was already done. They did it in less than 30 min and we went right away to get him. The bandana that we put on him when we dropped him off wasn't on him. When we asked for it they were stalling trying to look for it. After 10min they came out telling us they threw it away when they bathed him cause our dog had ripped it. We know that is not true cause he loves bandanas and hates when we take . They did replace it with a different one for free. We brought him home and he has been sleeping for hours and doesn't want his favorite treat.Grooming wasn't a problem. We took him before to get his nails cut and they were great. When we went to pick him up it wasn't the same people that was there when we dropped him off for boarding. . The staff was great when we dropped him off. They were super busy but took the time to listen to us and take care of the transition in leaving him for a week.

Love the place! Our Aussie left happy and clean! We asked them to trim his butt hairs and they did great. I’m always nervous about trusting groomers because I never want them to shave my dog (I’ve heard horror stories)… We trust them and will definitely be back!

This was our first time trying Muddy Paws and we won’t be going back. Took both our dogs to get groomed, and from the moment the groomer came out to greet us, he gave me a bad feeling. He picked my small dog up by her leash when she was too scared to get on the scale, yelled at another dog who was there in a crate for barking, and shoved my larger dog roughly into a crate, all while I was standing there watching. He was irritated when I interjected. I should have just taken my dogs and left at that point- honestly not sure what possessed me to do otherwise. Both our dogs came back with cuts from grooming- our small dog has a cut that is deep and swollen. We’ve been getting our dogs groomed for years elsewhere and have never once had these issues- we only tried Muddy Paws because their pricing is more reasonable and their reviews were good. I’ll happily pay the higher price for good treatment and not look back. Only highlight is that the receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the grooming and bathing job looks good, but that doesn’t mean much when your pets aren’t treated well.

I had a great experience at this establishment. I did not have an appointment; I was a walk-in, and they were super kind, friendly, and really professional. After they were done, they texted me to let me know my dog was ready for pick up. I absolutely love their work and how my dog looked after the service. Thank you so much. Very nice staff! Every time I bring my dogs I leave impressed, they do a great job. My goldendoodle got his first haircut and he went from looking like a mop to a handsome good boy. Definitely recommend this place!

My dog, Jackson, enjoyed Muddy Paws and Fernando as well as the other employees since we moved to North Carolina. He received the best cut and shaves of his life!Muddy Paws is an excellent service! Seriously the best money I’ve spent on my dog. I took him in for a wash and it ended up being a spa day. They were SO thorough and really cared about his comfort. They had attention to detail and took care of things that I wouldn’t have even thought of. 10/10 will be going back.

I brought my new adopted puppy here. Muddy Paws did such a great job! They even had time to squeeze in my big boy for a nail trim. They were super friendly and you can tell they care about your furbaby. Oh and the have some awesome treats you can purchase, we got a doughnut and a slice of pizza. I will definitely be back!

Amazing service. Ms. Kelly did a beautiful job with our boy Tako. She was sensitive to our doggys shy temperament and didn't cut him til our 3rd visit so he would get used to the whole ordeal. When she did cut him he looked amazing and so handsome!! We are very happy and will be back!

After dropping the ball on our Sheepadoodle's Grooming for a month , she became matted to the point that one of the BIG pet stores refused to groom/shave her and even said that she may need to be sedated !!! Not the case at Muddy Paws !!! They did an excellent job of shaving our fur baby . We also noticed that she wasn't as anxious as she typically is at the other groomers. Well its needless to say we now have a new groomer !!!

Horrible customer service. I’ve been gong to them for awhile now. This will be my last time. I recently just called to make an appt and they had me on hold and hung up on me. I immediately called back, and the girl who answered was so rude. I brought my dogs up there and one of my dogs came out with a scratch from one of the groomers. I was not informed until my husband called up there. DO NOT recommend. Never going back to them again. I can see now why they are rated so poorly.

This was the crustest.dustest. place I have ever taken my dog to my little dog is 8 months and he was TRAUMATIZED. The water was way to hot and we asked twice but still did not recieve shampoo, the room smelled like mold and had flies everywhere. I will not be returning.

My father in law took his shtzu to get him groomedHe came back with bruises and cuts all over his little body and for days he just sat and stared,didn't want lovens or to be touched.I do not recommend this business,if I could give them minus stars I would.Be careful who you trust your loves one with.

We took our golden doodle here, asked for a trim. We booked our cut with a female, ended up with a male. They kept our dog for 4.5 hours. When we called to check they said our dog hated being brushed and blow dried. He has been to four groomers, and no one has ever said a thing about having issues. We always have positive feedback. When my boyfriend was told it would take two more hours, he showed up at the two hour mark. They came out and said it would be an additional 30 minutes and left him standing in the front waiting for our dog who was behind a locked door. They charged an extra ten dollars because he was apparently too matted, which has never been an issue before. I’m not sure why they charge extra to get the mats out when all they did was shave my dog down to absolutely nothing. I am not pleased with the service, the way my dogs hair turned out, or the additional charge when they didn’t do a single thing we asked of them. We will never take our dog back. He has razor burn on his hind knee and stomach as well. We looked at reviews before, they have decent ones but when looking back at the reviews to look at the pictures, all of the dogs leave the place shaved down to nothing, wish I had noticed prior to the visit. I have attached before and after pictures, the before was from two week prior to haircut. We regularly bathe and brush our dog. Still unsure why he needed to be completely shaved down

I absolutely would recommend this groomer to anyone. I take my handsome boy here every month. They are patient whenever he gets nervous. He comes home so clean and smelling great. Definitely helps with his shedding too. I would give it 6 stars if I was able too. Great staff as well.

Love the self serve dog wash here! The staff is always friendly, and if I need the girls' nails done, it doesn't take long at all, AND they're done extremely well. Plus, the price is easily the best around! The tub is big enough to fit my 130lb great Dane and my 50lb pit bull TOGETHER. Love this place :)

Muddy Paws have been great to us. They are always able to get our dogs in fast for a bath and nail trim. My only complaint is the last time we were there they forgot to trim one whole paw of my dogs nails.

The staff at Muddy Paws are incredibly professional and nice at the same time. I took our fiesty 12 year old Chihuahua in today as a walk in for a nail trim. We were out within fifteen minutes.

I will never take my maltese there again. I asked for his ears to be trimmed and when l picked him up all his hair on his ears was shaved off. When l asked what happened, the receptionist just said she must have misunderstood. No apology and did not ask if l would like to speak to someone. This was the second time they got what l asked wrong, and this time it can not be over looked. She acted as if she could care less. I have been going to them for years, but the last two times they act like they only care about getting your money, they started asking for payment when you drop your dog off not when you pick up, not what kind of job they do. If l could give less than one star l would. 🤒🤒😔😭

Used the self wash dog station. Room reeked of filth with mold all throughout. Water came out much to hot for dog safety and most of the functions wouldn’t work on the machine. If this is what they let customers see I can’t imagine what the dogs go through behind closed doors.

Took my shepherd in yesterday and she looks like a whole new dog! She was shedding her undercoat and was a giant fluff ball but she came back looking so much happier and more comfortable! They did an absolute incredible job. 100% recommend this place!

They did such ab amazing job on both my dogs nails. My dogs both have black and clear nails so it can be difficult to cut. Plus one is hard to cut his nails. They look awesome. Will be trying their spa here soon.I also used the self service dog wash it's not bad. It is $10 for 10 minutes. Bring your own towel but it does have a blow dryer to use during the 10 minutes. You can also add time it takes cash and card.
