I’ve been going to this bait shop since I was about 6 years old. Ol’ man mr Gus RIP has taught me a lot about fish hooks what to use during certain times of the season and what bait to use. He had a lot of knowledge I will always go to this bait shop. They have the healthiest red worms, nightcrawlers and wax worms when available. As a matter of fact they have the best worms in the entire city of Fayetteville and beyond don’t waste your money buying Walmart worms. Love this bait shop

It wasn't a big place , I was not sure about the place when I first drove up but glad I went in . The lady was super nice the prices were very good and had several items I haven't seen before wish I had gotten more stuff. My big recommendation is she needs better lights inside. The worms I got looked way better outside! If the light was better I would have definitely bought more !!!

Nice selection, more convenient for me than having to drive to the other side of town or paying mark up prices at big chains. Good selection of bait and tackle. They were open on Sunday thank the lord. Only downside is credit card machine can get hung up if somebody’s on the phone so make sure you have cash just in case. Great guy by the way

I just called inquiring about purchasing bloodworms from this "bait shop". The seasoned lady that answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!! Her response to me was, "Why would we sell those. We're inland not on the coast." she didn't offer any alternative, just her negative response. I won't be visiting this shop and I suggest everyone else that may be considering to proceed with caution.

Best bait shop in town and great lady. If you are a beginner or novice this lady has experience to offer to all. She even has live and frozen eels. Don't waste your time elsewhere, support small business/genuine people.

Gus's is a small, local, family owned bait shop. The owner is a very sweet older lady that is full of information about the items that she carries. At this time, this is the only place that minnows can be purchased on this side of town. I hope they remain open for many years to come!!!

Very nice place! I highly recommend going here if your in the area, you will find all your tackle and fishing gear. I stopped here from out of town and was given all the fishing spots to go to in the area this was very helpful especially being from out of town! Thanks again!

This is the place to go for your fishing needs.The employees are really cool and smart and will try their darndest to point u in the right direction to where u want to fish and help u find what u need for that location.THERE is only a few mom and pop stores left in this area and u should really shop there.
