I usually don’t ever complain about service but man this food lion have some really badcustomer service, you atleast spect the cashier to greet you or something and it’s alright if they don’t but to the point were you ask then how is their day and they don’t even answer that’s is rude and sad at the same time, this cashiers are not even busy anymore as everyone go to the self pay register, but recently all cashiers are rude and they don’t even tell you the total anymore they don’t even say at word at the time of the transaction, that is very poor customer service, definitely not going back to this food lion.

Their machines for customer service or lottery is always down and some of the staff Im guessing be h ing a bad day and have nasty attitudes,some are really rude ,shopping wise they always have everything I need in stock

Understaffed. Way too crowded. People don’t know how to work the customer service desk but yet they are staffed at that register. To have to wait 20 minutes to make a return for two items is beyond unacceptable. Guess this goes on the list of stores to avoid.

Went there needing something at the last minute, pulled up and there was a guy in uniform telling me they were closed, store hours says they close at 11:00 pm but it was 10:30 pm, needless to say I went to Walmart, this happened on 3-13-24

I go to Food Lion because they have everything I need. The customer service is very nice to me EVERYTIME I ask a question. I love the Salibar that already made. I ALWAY get a couple. The prices arn't to hi either.

This food lion particularly is one of the ones that I do enjoy coming to because it’s very neat and organized, it looks always so clean. The cashiers are actually nice and do ask us as the customer if we found everything that we were looking for and also ask about how is our day going. I have been to a couple of food lions were the cashiers don’t even look at you, i don’t know if is the lack of training or they just don’t care about their customers, but back to the review, 5 stars for this location and I hope some of the other food lions learn a little from this one. Keep up the good work guys and girls.

Received Great Customer service from the young lady working in the deli approximately 4pm. She was very polite and helpful. This location was clean and well lit. The lady at the cashier was friendly and nice as well. Thank you both for the good customer service. I would return to this location again.

Some of the freshest produce in town thanks to Food Lion's upgraded walk in chiller. Prices are good; only Walmart is less expensive, but you get much higher quality and shopping experience here. Store is clean and well organized. Staff is friendly and professional and turnover is low so that usually indicates solid management. Management is helpful and willing to help fulfill any request. I just wish they had pickup services there.

Having to edit my previous 5 star review. Not sure if there is a change in management, but the friendliness and great customer service is gone. Last night after 10 pm, I stopped in to pick up a few things before closing time. I went to checkout and it was SELF CHECK-OUT ONLY.Not a single register open. Plenty of staff. Just making people check themselves out. I left.

Found everything that I wanted to get everyone was very polite and courteous to me in the store didn't have a problem getting in and out of the aisles even though they were stocking it was a uneventful trip with a lot of special buys and sell items that I enjoyed purchasing but I always enjoy going to my food line on legion Road they're always very courteous polite and helpful to me and that's why I go there

I love this store - the employees are always friendly and helpful. I've been using the store for over two years and it's nice to see familiar faces when I go in to shop. I usually find everything I'm looking for, even things I didn't think I would find! It also helps being very conveniently located near my house so the commute isn't bad at all!

Food Lion is a great place! It's usually a fast paced checkout process even when it's really busy around the holidays. They have the freshest meats and produce of any local grocery store that I know! The staff is friendly and very helpful! I have never had a bad experience at Food Lion. The Deli has nice meats and cheeses and they even have an olive bar!!!!

Before reading, please take a look at my photo and past posts. Notice a pattern in my reviews? Good. Typically, I do my best to try and let certain things "slide" or look the other way if it shouldn't be a big deal. Unfortunately, this experience at this particular location bothered me to the point where I was thinking about it for hours after the incident occurred. I felt quite uncomfortable that the "red dyed" hair manager/supervisor deemed it appropriate to walk up to where I was & profiled me. She tried her best to not make it seem like I'm not the obvious reason she walked out from the back & ask the cashier who was working with me, "if she'd gone about checking my identity correctly."Why'd you come out for me but didn't come out to the white man who was being serviced & randomly asking individuals (including me) to use their phones after he sent a large amount of money? Did I seem like a needed assistance? Check your cameras at the customer service checkout for 2/20/2020 between 3:30-4:00pm just to see how everything was handled. When I asked "if everything was ok?" The red dyed lady "whispered" something that nobody would hear as they're walking away from you and gave me a smirk as if what had just transpired, was just "business as usual".

Good experiences most of time.Since starting wic I can’t use self checkout anymore.Being new to wic I do 2 transactions to make sure what I’m buying goes through. Not sure why the cashiers have an issue with that. Esp when my total order is less then 20 items.Without an attitude let me do separate transactions so I know what i am and what im not paying out of pocket for.I don’t understand why they can’t just ring it up separately. Stop being mad your at work and yes I know my wic card will separate from my other groceries but maybe I want to make sure im getting the correct items.Anyways never have issues here .

Food Lion's okay some deals they have are great I don't shop there because it's prices are way too high but if they have deals then I might check it out I went there that day to find air filters 20x20x1 they didn't have it and I went to another food Lion they didn't have it

They always give me a hard time with my coupons. But on a positive note I can always get good meat, for a good price. They put a blue sticker that says, "Manager Special" for older meats that have been out longer but there's still nothing wrong with it. These days you gotta find those deals. Just through it in the freezer and cook it the same day I thaw it. Store stays clean and always a good selection of produce.

So this Food Lion is the easiest for us to get to from home, and when HT and Wal-Mart are out of something or if you want to pick something up, and just don't have four hours to wait for the online shopper to work their magic, this is a great location to pop in and get what you need. They run good MVP specials, and the customer service people are helpful.

Great experience. Although they are running out of bags and are using boxes to put your groceries in, they accommodated me because I have a disabled shoulder and bagged all my groceries. I greatly appreciated that and even put all the groceries in my car for me. AWESOME!!!

The prices are great, I used to shop at Walmart bc of the free pickup but the cheaper store brand items became as expensive as the name brand stuff and I find that at food in lion even if the shelf tags are a little off in the price I still come out having more items for less.

They had some really good deals going on with the MVP card. Everything was stocked neatly and they had everything I went there for. The staff was nice and helpful also.

We received excellent service in the grocery section at the Food Lion on Legion Road from Michael today. As he was stocking groceries, Michael asked us if there was something we were looking for, and he stopped what he was doing and went to the back and brought us exactly what we needed.Michael saved us a second trip to another store and kept our business! He’s an excellent Ambassador for Food Lion, so we stopped and shared a compliment with the manager on duty. Hopefully she’ll share it with him too.
