This Food Lion is well managed. It's clean, has friendly staff and a good selection. The beer and wine selection is really good. I do most of my grocery shopping here, and I appreciate the prices which are usually lower than Ingles.

I wish I had a Food Lion closer to my home. This Food Lion was impeccably clean, wide isles, fully stocked!! I can't say enough to stress how nice this store was. I wish I had taken photos, but I did not. Ingle's owners should take a stroll through a Food Lion sometime and take some bloody notes.

Kind staff, clean and well organized. I didn’t like Food Lion very much until we moved to Fairview and I started going into this one. Now we do most of our grocery shopping here! And the $2 pick up option is unbelievably helpful to avoid dragging kids along for the weekly shopping.

The cleanest and neatest grocery store in Buncombe County! I once shopped at all the Food Lion's in Black Mountain, Candler and River Ridge, but nothing else compares to the Fairview store. It is meticulously organized and the staff are friendly and eager to help you. Take a look for yourself and compare it to your local Ingles store.

This is without a doubt the cleanest, nicest and friendliest food Lion I have ever been in.All the workers were kind and very helpful. I never saw one sitting back and relaxing. They were all working and cleaning and providing a great service to all the patrons. The selection was top notch. The produce was amazing ironically as it's hard to find good produce in most of the change stores in my opinion.If ever I find myself in the area again I will definitely make this my go-to place for my grocery needs.

Very nice grocery store! It's great to have a Food Lion fairly close. However, the Asheville, NC area needs more of them like we used to have. Food Lion has the best prices of any grocery store here and is so much better and less expensive than Ingle's. This store was recently remodeled. It is extremely nice, very well stocked, and clean. The staff is very nice. There are typically cashiers at every checkout lane. Because of this, there is never hardly any wait time. The store always has lots of customers. Thankfully, they do not depend on customer's using self check out and doing their own bagging. Ingle's has a monopoly here in Asheville, which needs to be broken up. Ingle's is on every street corner.

I passed 4 Ingles on my way to get to this Food Lion. Food Lion has better prices, cleaner stores, and friendlier staff. Even though I pay more for gas on my drive, I still come out ahead because the prices on groceries are much lower. Why can't we have more food Lions in Asheville?

This is a great grocery store with great people working there. Always more than willing to help you with your needs. They have went back into back stock room and looked for product that I couldn't find on the floor at the time. They also have checked the warehouse for a product that I found in another state for me. A very enjoyable place to grocery shop!

Food Lion is a clean quiet store and convenient to run in and run out. Nice people. Also, the restroom is always clean. I have 1 complaint Food Lion uses 1ply toilet paper. Come on now! We can all do better than that. But it's clean!

One of cashier's out walking around not at post. So we got in nice ladies line. The young man came over after we were already in line said I CAN take you. Well why wait then appear. Food lion pays him to do a job not walk around. I told him no you won't. Should have been at his register not waltzing and ignoring.People this is poor customer service.Do the job hired to do not goof off.

I have always loved this Food Lion and the people who work here, but today they raised the bar. I went in looking to buy a box of envelopes as I needed to mail something next door at the post office. I couldn't find any on the shelf so I asked a young man whom I believe is a manager. He walked over to check the shelf and confirmed they were out of stock. He then walked to the office up front, grabbed four envelopes from the desk, and handed them to me. I told him that was very nice but I could just run down the road and get some at CVS. He insisted. Above and beyond!

This Food Lion is the best store out of all the others I have been too. It is a very clean store and is always well stocked with great deals and discounts happening every day. The MVP card always saves me between 5 to 10 dollars every time I shop which is a definite plus for everyone that shops there. The employees at this store are always friendly and willing to help anyway they can. I recommend this store highly to everyone who likes to save money on grocery shopping. Definite 5 stars
