Very convenient to I-95. A bit rustic for KOA, limited amenities and no staff at all. We called at 5:15 on a Saturday to advise that we would be arriving late and the office was closed with a simple message that we should call back during office hours. No after-hours contact or ability to leave a message. Closed on Sundays. We had made our reservation on the KOA app the same day we arrived and luckily there was an envelope with our name on it at the office when we arrived around 8pm. Simple pull-through site was unlevel and grass/gravel but did the trick for a one-night stopover. Dumped tanks and headed out around 10am the next day. Never saw any staff; was pretty empty on the weekend. Doubt anyone comes here except I-95 travelers stopping over (there were a few older trailers that appeared to be full time / long term residents in the back). It is less than 5 minutes from the expressway but very quiet. Couldn't hear the traffic at all. Definitely would consider as a stopover in the future. Halfway between NY/NJ and Florida so convenient for that.

We give this a 5 for convenience to I-95 and the office staff was really friendly. We decided to do a weekend getaway within an hour from home and picked this KOA. We also enjoyed taking daily walks and scenery...big pines, birds, etc. They also provide trash pickup. The overnight sites at the front are much more spacious than those at the rear of the campground. We were so close to our neighbors and septic hookups were really close to our front door. The playground could use some upgrades and they should offer some weekend activities since there is anything to do in Enfield. We would stay again and maybe when the pool is open to have a bit more to do on-site.

This is a nice campground easily located by 95 but that isn't great if you are tenting. The tent sites are located in the front of the campground and you hear the traffic noise. When we went to bed we played noise on our phone at full blast to try to drown out the noise from 95. Eventually we were able to go to sleep. The 24-hour laundry room was easily accessible while maintained and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the beautiful pool was not open due to some circumstances beyond their control, but hopefully should be open soon. The 10 sites are actually pretty nice and have picnic tables undercover and a hydrant in the middle of the temp sites. There's also a nice volleyball area and children's playground. They're quite a few camping sites for trailers with electric and water. The restrooms are clean and have an access code.

Located about 10-miles north of Rocky Mount, NC, offering a convenient location about a mile west of I-95. Nice campground and staff with mostly transient RVers stopping 1 to 2 nights. The front loops are level pull-through sites offering full hookups with perm sites in the loops behind the office. The amenities are okay but in desperate need of a major updating.Restrooms: Old and in desperate need of renovations. Same for the laundry room.Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly and while we don’t use dog parks, one was offered for those that do.

My husband and I rented a cabin there over thr weekend. We loved it, it was clean and everyone was very friendly. Lol we fed the camp kitty cat Friday nite and she seems to have taken a liking to us. She came back Saturday morning for breakfast and to sleep. She was super cuteAll and all we had a great experience and will definitely book the cabin again. 😊 😸 Definitely a 5 star 🌟 experience

This campground is upgrading so many features it is so great to see this small business occupy such a small rural town. It would be awesome if some Internet giant would provide much needed internet and cable service. This is a wonderful campground to get away from the hustle of the city! Staff is very friendly, especially the owner and as a woman, I am so proud that this "woman owned" business is a refreshing change of pace. Stacey Ashwood, husband Richard, father Mike are wonderful, courteous and very informative. Helpful as they can be, helping so many during the hurricane and storms, offering a refuge until so many could get back to their homes. Pet friendly, and happy to provide a home away from home. The grounds are clean and wonderfully kept, grass mowed and bathroom & showers are clean. Holidays and/or other special occasions are celebrated throughout the campground and no one is a stranger! Love this place!!!

Good place to stop if you’re on the road. Dog friendly. The sites are really close to each other even if you get the outside site. The middle sites kind of remind me of sitting in a middle seat on an airplane. The electric works. The water was spotty at best.

The owner “male subject” is a complete moron. He has no sense of customer service at all. Has the personality of a dead frog. Complete jack@ss. Stopped in to get propane tank filled he refused to fill it because it was 9:05 am and not 10:15 am. I almost told him how stupid he is to let a sale and an opportunity for customer service (which by the way is the business he has chosen). The only reason I left without uttering the truth is because I would have spouted out ALL the times he has been disrespectful and come across with a tone and words that are clearly disrespectful. He has done this over the years several times, I have overlooked it and continued to patronize this business, but never again will I spend my good money on this poor excuse of a human. Maybe he will learn something here. We shall see! I will most definitely pray for him. Not to mention his message on phone says they open at 9 am however his door says 9:05 and that’s time he opened. Great experience again. We stay here as a regular stop when camping along or through this part of the country. 2/22 we went through on our way south from PA and again 4/22 returning from two months in Florida. The staff is way easy to get along with, accommodating, friendly and engaging. Our site doesn't vary much - maintained gravel drives, pull through and adequate hookups. Never tried the pool or bathhouse. Our dog enjoys her areas. Nothing over the top fancy but value well received. Handy to travel and easy to be with meets our needs! Recommend.

Great staff. Nice quiet shaded space with easy on and off highway access. The restrooms could use a little updating but they were clean. I do think this park had better water pressure than any park I have been to. The showers 🚿 were great. They have a small store not a large selection of food but there’s plenty of 🍻beer and flavored 🍹malt beverage’s. They also provided a fire pit and sell fire wood in the camp store. 😉 Would recommend this park.

We were really happy with our overnight stay despite the frigid weather. The washrooms were toasty warm and the showers were excellent. What a nice change from the other campgrounds. We will be staying here again.

GREAT camp ground. we stayed 10/6/19 and throughly enjoyed it. Some sites do not have sewer but there is a dump station, plenty of 50amp and water sites. Our pull through was up front #12, great cell service (Verizon) well maintained baths, landscaping. Little store had milk, ice cream, ice, beer, meats ect. Secluded park, good roads, easy leveling and set up for our rig. Don't know why anyone would give it a bad review. There are no close services at this exit but next one has grocery & gas station. Very easy off and on. Don't pass this up.Cotton fields surround, very stress free. Nice owners. Would definately stay anytime going up 95.

I CAN'T BELIEVE WE STAYED HERE TWICE BY ACCIDENT. Had been driving too long in the RV & needed to stop. It's the middle of nowhere or at least it feels that way.Somehow we decided to stop Googled the closest place & were directed to The Enfield KOA.This place is inexpensive, definitely isn't fancy & needs some power washing, fresh paint, and some landscaping color. The lady who answers the phone & books appointments is a treasure. It's cool being in the middle of all those crop fields.

This place perplexed me. I had no reservation and needed a place to stay for one night. When I went in, I was told they where booked solid on a off season Tuesday night was not sure they had room, but had 2 spaces left. There where at least 30 sites at the front of the campground with 5 or 6 campers all night. Why this was said, is still a question mark in my book. The back side.of the camp had maybe a 20% fill rate. Still not understanding the statement made to this day. Either they need to correct their reservation system or just look for space instead of using that as their opening statement. Place was clean and quiet. Cotton fields all around.

Very friendly when making the reservation. Park looked clean and the restroom was nice. They had the heat on, but the cabin needed cleaned. Nothing has been dusted for a loooong time. The fridge was dirty. Had to clean dirt and sand off the mattress. When sweeping that found a dirty sock from previous occupants. FYI...we let it right where it was. If you stay in cabin#2...look for the sock. I went up to get more k cups for our morning coffee, but the office was still closed after 9am. So we packed up to get coffee. The office was open by 940am, but we were ready to go.

Just an overnight visit on way home, but staff was friendly and efficient and location was conveniently close to highway. Had a great dog park.

Good for what it is. This is clearly a stop over campground, by the time we got up and moving at 8 am almost everyone was out of the campground. It’s just off 95 and is a convenient place to stop. The amenities aren’t much to write about but lots of easy pull through spots to pull in get dinner ready and not even worry about unhitching. If you are looking for an easy stop over for the night and don’t want to do a rest stop or parking lot this is a good spot for you.

Really the only negative thing to say is that there’s no Wi-Fi or cable other than that everybody’s super nice and they actually have long-term camping which you usually don’t get with a KOA

Tent camped here at least 4 times while driving cross country. Bathrooms are always very clean. Location is 2 minutes from 95 yet you can’t hear the highway at all. Tent sites are under beautiful tall trees with flat ground, fire pits and picnic tables. We tend to arrive after hours and our check in information is always out for us by the front door waiting for us to arrive! Hosts are very kind. Must stay on your journey!

DO NOT BOOK ONLINE!!Stayed one night. Booked online- was told no fhu sites could accommodate a 45 foot rig towing. Upon check in asked inquired about ease of dump station. I assumed there was no availability for full Hook ups but should’ve asked again. It would’ve been even nicer if one of the two people working there had offered that. Website said there were only two of the water electric sites available. There were at least 10. No one was there. Below is a motor home size pulling a trailer with open spots on both sides. Very disappointing.

Great place to stay after a long day on the road. The grounds are well taken care of. The owners are so genuine and helpful. I had some difficulty with tire pressure on my MH and they sent their nephew over with a compressor to bail me out. The slope iof some of the sites is necessary to keep the grounds free of puddles. Nothing that your jacks can’t rectify. Dog park is large and lit at night. A real gem!Playground: Nice playground for the kids. Real nice sized pool. Plenty of room to make your own.Dog-friendliness: Dogggie park is all grass that is healthy and mowed. Large enough for the fur friends to run and get a workout.

Friendly staff, great location off 95. We stopped here for 2 nights on our way to Florida. First koa I've had to place several blocks under my motorhome to get it level, the Internet doesn't support streaming, 4 channels come in over air, satellite dish can't find satellite here, no fire pits at sites. Well kept and clean, but needs upgrades. I hate to leave mostly negative, but the pool is nice, clean and well maintained.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly with fenced in off leash area and dog bag dispenser. It was nice to let the dogs roam off leash in the fenced in area after a long day driving. This dog area is actually larger than most of the koa campgrounds and I've stayed at about 25 of them.

Well maintained, safe KOA with easy access off the highway. Good RV overnight stop on 95. No cable TV, but picked up 30 channels on the antenna. You can hear trucks on 95 but they aren't loud enough to keep you awake. We didn't use the wifi but we're told clearly when we checked in what to expect about it's limitations. Price is high for the lack of amenities but that's pretty normal for a KOA. Most sites are pull thrus, whole property is flat and level.

We stayed a full month here 7/12/22-8/15/22. We really loved it! The management people were from Utah too which was kinda cool as we are full time traveling and are from Utah. We have a big setup with a 40 foot class A and 20 foot trailer. Our site was huge and easily fit us with room to park our SUV. There was a morning we came out and found that while they were mowing the lawn a rock had gone through our SUV window and shattered it. Accidents happen! They promptly came to take a look, apologized and very quickly made it right. We scheduled a repair and the management paid no questions asked. They really have great customer service. They have an awesome pool area with shade pop ups they put out every day. They have a great laundry and shower area and the store has lots of stuff. They even have DVD’s to loan or purchase which was fun! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and beautiful. We absolutely recommend staying here if you can!

Nice quiet spot to stop off for a night or three. Stayed three nights to rest up and relax on our way to Myrtle Beach. Clean campground and convenient to the interstate but far enough away for a quiet nights rest. Would definitely stay here again.
