I don't think I've ever rated a grocery store before but this one's deserves it. We arrived on an off season Saturday. There were lots of staff throughout the store who were cheerful and willing to help with anything.I needed some gluten free items and they were clearly labeled with large tags.The check out people were efficient and packed our groceries carefully in our reusable bags. I expected a stressful shopping experience in a store new to me. It was not that at all. I was very impressed with the staff in this Publix.

The cleanest store, and the nicest staff I’ve ever known. Their prices are a little bit higher, but not much and I asked that all locals stop in and make a purchase from time to time so we can keep this wonderful gem of a store going throughout the off-season

10 out of 10 in the Deli. As a small family business owner I’d be ecstatic if Quaina or Andrea worked for me. They both went above & beyond in Customer Service. Definitely worth the drive from Morehead City.Everyone we encountered was exceptional in Customer Service. I actually felt like they were Happy to see me. Publix is just Consistent Quality in Groceries & People.

Way too overpriced, I mean you go in for 5 items come out with $100 spent. It’s outrageous. I like to use self check out and the employees are beyond ridiculous, they literally are in your bubble while you’re trying to scan your items. It’s pretty disturbing. No I’m not trying to steal anything lol they make you feel uncomfortable.

I’ve only been here a few times but today I went there for my third trip and it was something out of a hallmark movie from customers greeting eachother and the unbelievable customer service almost anticipating my needs! Superior environment and service, the employees treated me wonderful which generally only comes when they are treated decent as well. Lowe’s is same price but not close to this level of attention.

Very clean environment and all the products were amazingly recovered on the shelves. Awesome customer service and beautiful bakery items Prices were a bit higher than other competitors however they had a selection of much more than just food. Will definitely return. If your looking for fresh foods and a great atmosphere this place is for you.

About a month ago I purchased strawberries that had tiny bugs crawling on them. Wish I would have taken a picture. Management team said they had been having issues with their supplier. Why not refuse the shipment and put them on the floor knowing customers would be purchasing them?

It's a bit pricey here, but the deli is awesome and the food is delicious! They always have things no other store carries, which is pretty cool. I found cheese wraps on my last visit, and I must say, they were quite delicious and keto friendly.It's worth the money to find new things and get delicious deli foods.

The deli has the best people working there. Always friendly, helpful, and patient. I got here late one night when the deli was cleaning up and they still made me a sub and are so nice about it. I love it here and will always come back.

Publix had everything I needed while in Emerald Isle for the week. I was very surprised to find Killer Dave's brand of bread and Heinekin 0-0 (no alcohol) in this area. Nice selection of fresh produce, too. The store was very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Went looking for a couple of very specific items that Publix carried. They had everything I was looking for and when I asked for directions to an item the lead me to it. Great service and in stock of items.

I came to this place for some food for a house for our yearly vacation. This is a new place so I have not been here in the years past. My wife has never been to Publix so when she came here with me she was shocked at how beautiful the store was. All the staff was friendly everything was neat and in the correct place. (Maybe because it is new, but I don't think so)Jessica was absolutely amazing. Could not say enough about her how nice and sweet she was, she walked our stuff to the car after telling her 3 times she did not have to. But she just wanted to smile on the face very very pleasant attitude. everybody we encountered at the store was very nice but something about Jessica stood out she was absolutely awesome.The family and I come to Emerald Isle once a year every year and we usually go to the Food Lion right next door but we are very happy that this publix is here.

I had ordered flowers 3 weeks before I came down to pick them up, Made a order for flowers when I got there, They said that there was no order under my name which there was they're not great with communicating back with you. I had ordered cupcakes that same day. They had my order for my cupcakes, but no flowers. There Bakery is the best. I had ordered 4 different cupcakes. And they were amazing.

Really disappointed after my last visit to this Publix. I got a sub that wasn't ready at the time it was supposed to be. They don't have a press apparently, so they couldn't press the sub as I asked for as an option on their site and the avocado is done sorry if avocado paste which I don't know how much avocado is actually in that. The way the sub was made with the toppings and meat every bite was pretty much its own thing. One bite would be just meat, another was just lettuce, another just banana peppers, etc.The other thing I went for was to get a cookie cake. First, it looked terrible compared to every cookie cake I've ever seen and had, which we have a tradition of getting every year, so quite a few. Even more disappointing is the fact that we will be throwing away about half of it since it tastes like cardboard with chocolate chips and frosting. Not even worth the fat since I was splurging since I need to watch my fat and cholesterol intake.Just very disappointing all around.Update: apparently the baked fresh cakes are actually frozen and sent to Publix... anyone know a good lawyer, that sounds like false advertising to me.

Very clean store. Great fine food selection. It's not Food Lion price but not as high as Whole Foods. I was confused by the hot food selection price sign. There were about 4 stages to figuring out the meal price when I was just trying to buy some chicken strips without the meal package. I believe just a little lower on price would create more sales volume. What we did buy was fresh and tasty from the prepared deli items.
