I recently used The Aluminum Company of NC to replace windows around the house. Our sales rep Dallas was great to work with and shared his expertise of the product during our initial meeting. He gave check up calls along the way to ensure things were running smoothly. The installation crew was efficient and extremely respectful. Chrisy was an absolute joy to work with during our walk through after installation. I had to contact the service department a few times to get a call back and check on an update but overall I had a fantastic experience with the company and would recommend.

We obtained quotes from 4 different companies to replace all of our 32 windows, gutters, add gutter guards, install premium vinyl siding, and replace or wrap fascias and soffits.The Aluminum Company of NC actually came in with the best price and had a no pressure team for sales and estimates.Their install team was very professional and did a great job. The project manager stopped by every day to make sure we were satisfied with what had been done so far. We also did a couple of walkarounds afterwards. There were a couple of pieces of trim that could have had a better fit and they took care of them with zero hassles.The house looks great.

After seeing firsthand their work, we contracted with The Aluminum Co of NC to install an EZE BREEZE window system on our screened porch. The project was just finished last week and we are extremely pleased with their process as well as the outcome of the project. After the sales person gave us an estimate and we decided to move forward with the project, the communication phase proceeded exactly as promised. We really liked that the person who would actually install the system came out for more precise measurements. After production, the installation was scheduled and performed timely. The installation crew showed up on time, were very respectful of our property and did an excellent job. One window measurement was off, but the installer owned up to the mistake right away, apologized, and ordered the replacement window. Though we had to wait several weeks for the new window to be completed, once it arrived, the company came out and completed the job. After the job, Christy came out to inspect and ensure the job was satisfactory. She also provided verbal and written instructions on how to care for the new system. Payment was not required until the job was completed and we were satisfied. We are in love with our new porch. The EZE breeze system has literally added extra usable square footage to our home that we can now use during the non-summer months. We should have done this years ago! Wow, what an upgrade! We had two doors (front and sliding) and six windows installed. We’re so happy with how they turned out it feels good to get rid of the draft! Everyone at the Aluminum Company was GREATRyan our sales rep, explained everything well, was really knowledgeable, and did not pressure us in the process. He quoted us, then we took some time to think on it/save up and it was seamless when we linked back up. The installation crew was awesome too. I reached out back in late February to get an estimate to replace my large picture window and a sales rep called me the same day! They came in significantly less than two other quotes I received and I just got the best vibes from their sales rep Dallas. My window needed to be custom made because of its odd size but they were on point with their expected wait time. The only real delay with the install was because of my work schedule but thankfully I wasn’t in a rush for it to be installed. Their guys did a great job at taking out the old window and putting in the new one. This old brick ranch isn’t level anymore and some bricks have shifted but they were on point with measuring every cut to make sure it fit correctly. They had to break the glass from the old window to remove it but they did a great job with clean up!Service: Glass installation

The Aluminum Company of NC is an OUTSTANDING company. This is our third time having them back to do our home improvement needs. We had an old, drafty, sliding glass patio door replaced with a new ProVia steel French door style. We wanted only half of the door fully functional while having the remaining half stationary. My dream door had a particular style window pattern along with a certain type of look for the lower panels. Danny Newman came to our house sat down with me, listened to me, and he went on to create that exact door for me. What an impressive experience. Danny is so very good at his job. So while the door was on order over the weeks that would follow, it was a delight to have Roberta Day periodically reaching out via emails keeping me updated on the progress of our door because it was about an 8 week wait. She really minimized the anxiety of wondering, “have we been forgotten about?” What a wonderful addition focusing on the company’s customer service experience. The next step was scheduling the installation date. Johnny was a pleasure to speak with. Easy and accommodating for setting up a day that would work for us. Moving on to the installation team….WOW!! Michael and his assistant Lester were incredible. Both hard working, and their attention to detail was top notch. Ending the entire experience was a lovely lady named Christy. She scheduled an appointment to come out to our home to go over the warranty/care of our new door. She also wanted to know if there was anything that I was unhappy with or needed fixing. All I could say to her was, “ oh my goodness, my door is beautiful, and was really a dream that indeed came true.” Even now writing this, l am still over the moon with happiness. To finalize this review all I have to say is, if anyone wants a company to do any of their home improvement needs, don’t think twice; this is a solid, dependable, quality focused company. You’ll be over the moon too when they are done.

We ordered windows for our sunroom and had them installed.Danny Newman, our sales rep., did a great job keeping us up to date on when they would arrive & arranging a date for install. The crew was on time, polite, professional, cleaned up after the work & even offered to put the old blinds back up for us before leaving. A few days later someone from the company came out to review the work, go over our paperwork and warranty and make sure we were happy with the job.It did take about 6 months for the windows to come in, but that was no fault of theirs. I was pleased with the monthly check in to let us know we were still in the queue and they were keeping an eye on delivery dates.We have used the Aluminum Company for other things (siding, gutters) and keep going back because of the quality products they offer and the good work their crews do.Services: Installation, Custom windows

We recently purchased a new home. It needed new windows installed on the enclosed back porch. The existing windows were of a thin vinyl and did not open easily, did not insulate from heat and cold, and did not allow us to enjoy the room year around.After looking at several companies we decided to use the Aluminum Company of NC even though we are well over an hour from their offices. There were several reasons for our selection. One was the excellent reviews they received from virtually all their customers. I actually joked to Kevin the sales person about how the reviews had been "scrubbed". He assured me that those were all the reviews and that they did not charge for an installation until finished. The second reason is that all of their employees that we dealt with were extremely courteous and professional up front.When it came time for installation, Charlie and Phil came out and spent four days not only putting in the new windows but correcting some structural issues with our porch framing. They did an outstanding job.Lastly the windows themselves are terrific. They fit and work perfectly. We are extremely happy with our choices in both windows and the company.While the company's work is not inexpensive, we feel we received our money's worth and will be enjoying our back porch windows for years to come (they have a lifetime warranty).We would certainly use them again and highly recommend them.Service: Installation

We have had an excellent experience working with the Aluminum Co of NC. I preface this review to say we are 2 people with very high standards of who we hire to work on our house and who we recommend to others. We had all 14 original windows (33 yo) removed and replaced with OKNA replacement windows and the exterior trim protected by cladding with aluminum.Each person that came to the house, always called ahead of time, arrived as scheduled, respected our time, and was a pleasure to work with. The office always kept us up to date on the progress of our project from when the windows were ordered, when they were delivered, and immediately upon arrival they scheduled installation. It didn't matter who I spoke with in the office, each person that answered the phone treated our job as their job. They never punted the responsibility and always answered my questions or called me back within hours if they needed to check into something. Each and every call was their responsibility- something that is found less and less of these days.Chris Riley and his crew are very talented at what they do, showed great attention to detail, and a high degree of expertise working with aluminum. They were respectful, easy to talk to, showed great concern and attention to our requests, treated our home like their own, and quickly completed the entire project within one day.As seen in the before and after photos, the finish product completely updated the entire exterior of the house. The up close picture of an exterior window shows off their attention to detail and excellent installation of the window, absolutely no flaws in the aluminum work, and the final step of sealing in the window with caulking was done masterfully. The interior view shows off the quality of the OKNA window and its crisp lines make the trim from floor to ceiling pop off the walls. We did have to wait for the windows to me custom made but it was well worth the wait! We would not hesitate in hiring Aluminum Co and having Chris and his crew return again for any future jobs.Our old windows made traffic sound like it was driving through the house.With our new OKNA windows, we do not hear any outside noise. Our old window were in such bad shape we had a draft that made our feet and legs freeze during the winter, making it feel much colder than the reading on our thermostat. Now, the house is much warmer.Over the course of 2 years we interviewed 5 different companies. We did not feel pressured when Patrick Day came to our house for an estimate and he valued our time. We loved the fact that the Aluminum Co was a local company and our money would support the local community. Choosing the right people to trust and the use of quality materials is the most important decision when hiring. We highly recommend trusting the Aluminum Co to do an excellent job on your next project. The Aluminum Company came out and replaced our old gutter guards with their Helmets. These work great for us, they did an outstanding job for us. So far we are very happy with product. Should have went with them first and not TLC gutter guards.

We had some disagreements and issues during the installation process, but were able to resolve everything with the owner. He addressed any of our concerns, and ultimately went above and beyond - even going as far as completely redoing some of the work. The owner is a good guy and proactively reached out to work with us. He took the time to meet with us (multiple times, I'm sure we were a bit of a hassle) and explained in layman terms how the installation was done, so that our questions were answered and concerns taken care of. These windows are an effective barrier for sound and heat, won't let water or bugs in, and are easy to clean because you can reach all corners of the windows from the inside. Each window comes with a child-proof lock to prevent a larger opening (super useful to prevent our toddlers opening windows).On our custom converted windows, from two panels to a single bayview window, the woodwork on the interior trims are also done nicely like it's new. They went the extra mile here and helped fix the interior trim when the conversion from two windows to one left a gap. They also helped us tailor the interior trim to better match an arched window and even painted to make everything seamlessly blend into our home.Service: Glass installation

My salesman has always informed me of what I’m interested in without any pressure to purchase. During a recent Aluminum Company open house, I spoke with a representative of the door manufacturer and was impressed with the quality and safety measures behind their product which are the only doors installed by The Aluminum Company and had them install an exterior door. I LOVE my new door. The quality of the door is superior and the installation was done by an employee with 20 plus years of experience with obvious skill. Siding installation job went very well. Here are a lot of examples:- Had siding work scheduled for March but they were actually able to start in February. When does that ever happen?- Reed, the Project Manager, was on site frequently, was friendly and approachable. As were the rest of the crew.- There were a few minor mistakes on the job but they were resolved without delaying the project or causing additional charges.- On a whim I mentioned to Reed that our chimney leaked when it rained despite it going through multiple repairs. He saw an issue, had it fixed and it hasn't leaked since (over a month now and several down pours). The cost was minor.- The new, expensive windows we had installed by another organization last year had to be redone (just the vinyl) with the siding install. The work was noticeably done with more care and they look twice as good.- Our 1930s farmhouse has very nice but weathered columns out front. One of the bases had split badly and Reed fixed it on his own time and at no cost just because he "likes figuring out and fixing little issues like that".- One necessary repair that the initial demo revealed, dry rotted ban board, was under quoted by them. They stuck with their quote and ate the cost.

Ryan came out look at the situations with my gutters and the problems I was having with the leaves and cleaning out the leaves he recommended new gutters and gutter helmets which I love the installation was on point Timothy and his partner which I did not get his name did a phenomenal job very meticulous on every detail from wiping down the the new gutters to cleaning up after themselves. From start to finish, I've had a great experience during both times (window installation and gutter installation) that I worked with this company. When I got new windows, the salesman, Patrick, worked to meet the estimate of another company that I had talked with. When getting a gutter installation estimate, Patrick did not try to oversell. I asked about getting gutter helmets and new downspouts and Patrick said that I really only needed gutter helmets on one section and that my downspouts were fine. During the installation process of both the windows and gutters, the crews were courteous and both efficient and proficient. Then, during the follow-up, warranty information was clearly presented and outstanding questions and concerns were addressed. I strongly recommend this company.

I had 28 windows replaced and they look amazing! Patrick was my sales rep and came to my home with a sample window to show me how it worked and differences in what I currently had. He wore a mask inside and even offered to talk outside if it made me feel more comfortable.Due to COVID, there were some manufacturing delays, but I was contacted every 3-4 weeks with an update on what was going on for scheduling purposes.Three days was quoted and it took about two and a half. Kenny and George were onsite and were fantastic to work with. Whenever they came into the house, they wore their masks and told me what they were doing and asked if I had any questions.On day one, the old windows were out and new windows were in with caulking on the interior. Day two and half of three was bending the aluminum and insulating the outside.I was referred by a neighbor and I can see why. Now, I will be referring others to The Aluminum Company of NC.

First let me start off by saying, I waited several months after installation before writing a review. Our installation took place in February 2023, and there has been 0 disappointment.My husband and I had EZE Breeze windows installed on a screened porch. The main objective was to avoid all the pollen that builds up on the porch.All I can say is, WOW - the enclosed windows have been great! It feels like an outside retreat and we truly enjoy the outside space and spend a lot of time relaxing there.My husband worked with John Alexander, Sales Consultant, and the level of professionalism provided was excellent. It's hard to find vendors that even call you back. The Aluminum Company of North Carolina is just the opposite, they far exceeded customer service expectations.Very pleased with our experience from superior customer service, timeliness, great follow through, and excellent quality!
