Overall a decent Rose’s store. Sells anything from home decor to clothing to food items to electronic appliances and others. Some items are severely understocked and have been understocked for weeks if not months. Like other Rose’s stores, the price is typically cheaper than most retail places which is always welcomed. Helpful staff members. Plenty of parking spots available.

My kids really like coming to Roses as they have a large selection of affordable toys. I like that they have REALLY GOOD deals on small kitchen appliances like toasters, blenders and microwaves. They’ve got a ton of clothes, shoes, furniture, car supplies, home repair kits and pretty much everything you can get at Target, but for a lot less. They even have seasonal stuff like Valentine’s Day cards and gifts and of course Christmas accessories like fake trees and stockings. Overall, I give Roses 4 stars because the place looks a little run down (on the inside) and the bathrooms could use a makeover. Other than that, I think this is the best discount store in the area.

Love shopping in Roses nice black art work clean store. But today, this roses employee with Dread locks a male seemed like he was following me and my daughter around the store.he never asked me if j needed help 😒 I was looking for bowls he just kept following and staring at me made me very uncomfortably. Maybe I was looking crazy yeah because he kept staring. When the nice lady checked me out, he came over and tied my bags up for what reason? Then he mixed my mom things up with my things. No customer services. Then he was whispering about me when I left.

If I could rate it zero stars I would. They are scammers! I went to pull the price off before wrapping the toys and I found this under the tag! DO NOT SHOP AT ROSES!!

Worst store ever. The customer service ALWAYS sucks , the cashiers always have an attitude and moves slowly on purpose to irritate the customer. The only have 1 , maybe 2 lines open during the busiest hours. You’re better off going to the Roses on highway 54 , DO NOT waste your time shopping here

I came there did a little shopping, I just had to leave this review Latina, SHE IS LITERALLY A ROCKSTAR!!! Asher customer service she provided soon as I stepped to the register was AMAZING! she greeted me rang up my item scan my huge bag of dog food(didn’t have to move it) she bagged my item and put them in my cart! WHAT!?! I haven’t received customer service like this in such a long time. When I get great service like this I have to let it be known. I will be back because of her amazing customer service. Great hire Roses. There should be a promotion in her further if she has not already been promoted! This is what shopping is about, being able to have this great sense of joy knowing that the employees truly enjoy assisting the customer and their job! GO LATINA!!!!!!!! YOU ARE GREAT!

Good service but extremely crowded and I don't mean to sound snobby but the clientele can be better since there have been people screaming like crazy outside the store which makes me fear for my safety. Also shady characters in and outside of the store, which makes me uncomfortable. These people get angry if you simply make eye contact with them. Not a friendly vibe and will shop elsewhere, but 2 stars for low prices but only 2 stars. STOP being so angry people because life was and never will be fair so stop creating unnecessary drama and making a huge scene.

I really appreciate senior Wednesdays for an additional saving off already great prices. The checkout register had plexiglas shielding. However, I saw no sign of hand wipes or a way to sanitize cart handles. A store worker told me that if I needed to know a price, I had to carry thebitems to customer service and get price checks. REALLY??? I asked the clerk checking me out and she agreed that was inappropriate. I call that lazy and lack of initiative.

Went for the outdoor gazebo NONE in stock and he wouldn't sell us the display😭😭All good he said prices r good all season...gotta get the one with the zip netting!!

It's very clean & I can always find cute plus size clothing, towels that will fit around me as well. The prices are great. Just great all around store.

This Roses is messy. They have mdse crammed everywhere. Boxes in the isles. The checkout clerks are the nicest people in the store. The customer service desk personnel- not pleasant. Perhaps it was because they were hosting a job fairtoday and a bit overwhelmed. The Roses on Hwy54 is much better organized.

I had one item and there were 2 lines open with people with multiple items in cart i asked the lady at customer service desk (heavy set, close cut) if she could check me out and she said uh uh no. Her and another lady were laughing afterward. She just stood there looking at other cashiers. When the cashier did get to me i asked she could of checked me out and she said yes. Everytime i come there she in the same spot never see her smile or speak to people that come in. She need to be on floor hanging up clothes not at CUSTOMER SERVICE desk.

My first and last visit to this Roses. I live in Durham but travel to Raleigh location. So today I decided to stop at the Durham location. I loaded by basket and headed to checkout at register 3 at approximately 10 am. The cashier was an elderly lady and she was going to town in the NOSE. She then proceeded to spit gum in her hand. All this while wearing gloves, but got P O'd when I commented. I was not rude and actually made a joke in reference to me getting sick. She then got rude and said I have my gloves on. This is true however she's coughing spitting and digging in her nose with the gloves on therefore transferring whatever's on the gloves on to my products. It's a bit shocking that a lady of her age we get so bent out of shape and not be more understanding. Instead of letting my day be ruined I decided to move to another register. Kudos to me,thats my last time patronizing that Roses on North Duke Street. Rude staff can shut the business down. So glad I've aged and matured.

A great place to shop if you are low on cash but not great quality. Some of the clothes are sent from other high end stores that couldn't move the merchandise.
