I have been going here for 10 years and received excellent service until the last year or two. Lately, there have been huge delays in my medications with no communication, mistakes in filling prescriptions, and while the checkout staff are pleasant, anytime I have called or talked to a pharmacist with questions they have been unhelpful, irritated, and terse. They always seem extremely busy and I wonder if CVS has cut back on staffing and wages because of the extreme change in service and competence.

My visit today to this CVS was very pleasant. The employee named Jeancarlo (I'm sorry if it's not spelled correctly, but I think it's new because I hadn't seen it) he was very friendly, patient and even greeted me when I came in, something they didn't do at this CVS before. excellent employee.

The guy who work on counter next door is very helpless.Today I went there to buy pure Glycerin and I ask him to find Item and he just pointed out isles,The communication was terrible and unwilling help people find their items.I know that you can communicate better this way.But the people who pharmacy section are professional.

Kevin is the rudest person in the history of customer service! This guy hates women and that is women of color. He racially profiles any black women that steps foot in that CVS. He is rude, aggressive and mean. I hope that any one who experiences his antics reports him and leaves a review.

Shawn A. Is the most helpful pharmacy employee at CVS I have ever dealt with and I have been a customer for years. While getting the run around from other employees instead of just trying to get off the phone he takes his time and shows a compassion for costumers. He is a true problem solver and has always been the most helpful and nice.He is extremely professional and helpful.

The pharmacist (Shawn, I think) was amazing. I could tell he actually cared about my well-being, it’s not “just a job” to him. Both of the other pharmacy people I interacted with were the same … kind, helpful, and invested in the health of their customers. VASTLY different than the interactions I had at the CVS on N Roxboro. I’ll be going to this location from here on out.

Katie and Shawn were wonderful. Previous bad experience with Lloyd's Pharmacy in Hillsborough and these two tried several times to get prescriptions transferred over. Enough of that. They had prescriptions ready, answered questions, and were so very friendly in the process. Would DEFINITELY recommend this pharmacy!!!

I normally don't leave negative reviews, especially for medical. However, this is the most incompetent CVS I have ever tried to have medication filled at. When the pharmacist yells at you for asking a medication related question? I'm very concerned about him interacting with other patients, as well as questioning whether it is even safe for him to be filling medications for others. I have had my medication moved elsewhere because it's not worth the risk of an unstable pharmacist.

I normally don’t write reviews, however, I’m writing one now because I just had the worst customer service I have ever received and the girl phone receptionist should honestly not be allowed to work in customer service. To preface, I had a very pleasant experience at this Minute Clinic Health Hub- the providers were kind, listened to me, and helpful. However, once my labs came back and the pharmacist called me, it took back and forth for her to get my pharmacy right. She asked me where I wanted my prescription, I told her and gave her the address, she repeated a different one back to me, I told her no, she looked for it, repeated the same incorrect one, I gave her the one I wanted, so on, but she finally got it, repeated the correct pharmacy’s address to me and said I was good. That was strange, but fine, Elizabeth was very nice. Then, I get a text saying my prescription is ready… at the incorrect pharmacy I had just corrected on the phone twice.So, I call back the pharmacy to ask to switch it to the correct one and a younger (sounding) girl picks up. Unfortunately, she didn't say her name at the beginning of the call but she was so rude and unhelpful. Throughout the whole call her tone was snide, when all I wanted was for them to change where they incorrectly sent my prescription. When she finally found my prescription all she told me was “you’ll have to wait until four.” I was, understandably, I think, confused. I asked her what she meant, and said I was confused because she hadn’t even asked me what pharmacy I wanted it to be sent to yet. She said, you don’t want it here? And I told her no, they sent it to the wrong place so I was just calling back (the same number I had just gotten a call from with my results and treatment plan) to have it switched. She then huffed and said id have to call the pharmacy I want it to be at. I told her okay, thanks- trying to be nice even thought she was being rude- how would I know not to call back the CVS that originally sent my prescription and made a mistake (inner thoughts, didnt say this)? AND instead of nicely saying bye or saying sorry have a good day, this girl says “it’s not that difficult” and hung up on me.I used to work in customer service throughout college and I know its hard, but I was pleasant the whole call and simply asking the cvs to correct a mistake they made (without even saying it like that, although maybe I should have). Being about to go on lunch is no excuse for being rude and dismissive to a customer, and the process for switching a medication is something she should be able to explain and execute in a kind, helpful manner, as it is her job- and i personally think it shouldnt be her job any longer.

I’ve used this CVS pharmacy for six years since moving to Durham. This morning I went to get a Covid test, which I’ve done via the drive thru a few times over the years. The person who helped me was extremely rude. When giving my name and appointment time, she greeted me with, “Is there a reason why you’re late?” Maybe because I was behind the other car in the drive thru? She proceeded to get the test ready, which always takes some time even when you’ve signed up online—today it took about ten minutes. No “just a moment” or other comment was offered. When the test appeared, I swabbed my nose and was reading the directions regarding which pocket to put things in when the tech said, “You’re holding up the line.” Well, okay then. I used to work at a CVS pharmacy, often at the drive thru, and it does NOT have to be like this. At my store customer service was very important. Part of the blame is on corporate for routinely under-staffing their pharmacies. Part of the blame is on managers for putting up with poor treatment of customers. Three stars because today I got what I needed—a Covid test—and I have had better experiences here in the past. But no stars for the customer service today.

I was going to buy hair products but needed to use the bathroom. My partner was with me also and asked a Black woman with locs and glasses where the bathroom was. She on purpose ignored us, and I even said out loud “wow did she really ignore us?”, she didn’t say anything. Then once we found the bathroom there was no soap and toilet tissue was just lazily left on top of the toilet. We tried to use hand sanitizer but that was empty so these lazy people left a bottle of hand sanitizer beside the empty dispenser. My partner then told a heavy set white woman with short brown hair about the sanitary conditions, which she replied “cool” sarcastically. So out loud my partner said “if you guys don’t want to work let other people have your job that would be more willing to work”. I was going to get my hair products because I’m low on it but decided I rather spend my money somewhere else where we can be treated like human beings. There was no reason why people like this should be working in customer service. I’ve worked in customer service for over 11 years and people like them would have never been hired or lasted. There’s better locations that don’t act like these low life people.

The level of care at this pharmacy is shocking. From acting annoyed that I would like a prescription filled (it's a literal pharmacy?) to promising to call me back regarding an urgent medication request and never calling to confirming my order on the app only to have no prescription ready when wait in their 45-minute line, these pharmacists are not your friend. Ironically, the website currently has a headline that reads "Here, Women's Health Matters"! The irony is simply too much. If you can, go elsewhere.

I’ve been using CVS on Hillsborough Road in Durham for years to get my monthly prescription filled. In the past year I’ve had an issues every month when trying to fill my prescription.Today I called to get it refilled and they told me they didn’t have it in stock” that it would be Tuesday before they would ordered it”This particular medication cannot be called it before I’m completely out. It also cannot be transfer to a different location or partially fillet. Which means I have to go cold turkey for 5 to 6 days before I can pick it up... they obviously don’t care to keep up with loyal customers health needs! Which is completely unacceptable!I’d also like to add the person I spoke to was not sympathetic at all! which made me even angrier! He wished me a sarcastic Happy Thanksgiving and hung up on me!!! 😤

The drive-thru was an incredibly unpleasant experience. My partner and I have Covid, but we were out of Mucinex, so we decided to just go through the drive thru to pick up more. We did not want to go inside and risk exposing anyone. The woman working the drive thru this afternoon was impatient and rude to us, as if she was irritated that we weren’t there to pick up or give a prescription and that we didn’t just “go inside.” She asked us what kind we wanted, then proceeded to tell us that she couldn’t sell us one of them through the drive thru because it was illegal. Okay, cool. Then why did you offer it to us anyway? Just give us what’s on the sign, please, and we’ll be on our way. We were both mentally exhausted and just wanted to quickly pick up more medicine without possibly exposing anyone, but this experience really just made it as unpleasant as possible. Whoever that woman was, I just hope she learns to treat people with more compassion and patience.

Can I give this place 0 stars? My son has pneumonia and I chose this CVS for his medication. The doctor told me they could fill it immediately, but when I got there the pharmacist said she didn’t have it and couldn’t fill anything before 4. After calling the doctor, I called this CVS back. When I asked if the pharmacist could call it in somewhere else, she just said no and hung up the phone.

I came here through the drive thru to get my covid test. I believe I was in drive thru for 10 minutes. The lady wasn't pleasant at all. She had an attitude and acted like she rather be somewhere else. The folks behind me were blowing their horn like it was my fault they had to wait. The lady was moving so slow. This is the last time I come here for a covid test.

I've absolutely had enough of this place. It's been my pharmacy since moving to Durham 3 yrs ago, but I'm just over it and won't be going back. I put up with their rudeness because I don't often have to go, but enough is enough. It doesn't matter if you go through the drive-thru or go inside to the counter, every person encountered at their pharmacy has a condescending attitude. They are short, brusque, and rude every. single. time. Jayla and the white girl with brown wavy hair and tattoos are especially curt.

So where to begin: the fact that I have had to reschedule eight different covid tests because their software was down? Or the fact the tech made me wait when there was clearly no one in line to get the covid test. Or the fact that they didnt bother to cancel the initial tests I scheduled until three hours after the appointment time? Horrible service, horrible software, they also sell your data and get tax dollars to do so.

The staff is great. However one male pharmacist is extremely rude. We will no longer be using CVS after 3 bad experiences with the same man. I was a customer. I do not work for another pharmacy. I was with one pharmacy for 9 years which was fantastic.We were switching because the pharmacist we had used for years was switched to another store so we thought we would try CVS since it was close. We are going back to our old pharmacy and will get use to a new pharmacist. It will definitely be better than getting use to a new pharmacist and also dealing with a persons mood swings. I have been a customer at this CVS for over 12 years, starting back when it was next to Food Lion. I have been consistently treated well and the service was good. The past month or so has been a disaster.Prescriptions that I was told were ready on Thursday were still pending on Sunday. Under-staffed, a huge turnover in staff - not sure what's going on but if it doesn't change soon, I will be changing pharmacies.

The staff up front are always very pleasant. However, the pharmacy needs an overhaul. I get notifications that my prescription is ready for pick up and it isn't ready when I get there. Staff will continuously take new customers at the drive through while you stand at the counter and wait. The male pharmacist is so rude!! When you try to ask a question he just acts like you are bothering him. I am moving my prescriptions elsewhere. I would suggest you try and find another pharmacy as well.

I have been using this pharmacy for 4 years. There was a time when they were short handed and things got pretty bad. But I have noticed latley that they are making a real effort to change things for the positive. I've noticed more employees behind the counter and the actual pharmacist called me personally to ask some questions. I must say that no one has ever been rude to me there. I'm happy with their service.

Definitely don’t want to come to get a passport photo they will mess up your photos and even with an stamped dated form from west gate passport facility itself stating date and denial the store will try and offer a credit instead of A refund of your money. Store was also nasty and not kept up.

I came in today to get the vaccine for COVID-19 and was pleasantly surprised to see how well organized the facility was! There were no queuing, no crowds, and no social distancing to worry about. They were ready for me and my family with our names on a clipboard at the reception and then we got called in immediately into the clinic area where we got the jab. Even with the 10 min wait afterward for any reactions, we were in and out within 15 minutes. Thanks, CVS!

I have used plenty of pharmacies and even other CVS pharmacies. And they are all fine but THIS CVS pharmacy is the first one where I have felt very welcome and trusted. The staff is always friendly and my prescriptions are always filled on time. When there are problems with stock I am notified promptly. I recommend this pharmacy to anyone looking for a CVS in the area.

I have been using this pharmacy for a year, and it is consistently a disaster. The pharmacy always seem understaffed and stressed and the pharmacy's technicians' customer service is terrible. The wait times are ridiculously long between drop off and pick up, and on numerous occasions, they have repeatedly called and left automated messages that prescriptions are ready to be picked up and then when I arrive, they have no record of them. I gave them a year, but I will be switching pharmacies ASAP.

This CVS just gets worse with every visit. With the exception of 2 or 3 people, the rudeness is beyond extreme. The pharmacy- not commenting on the knowledge of the staff, because I'm sure they know their stuff, is very disorganized, and several of the individuals that work that particular area are rude and unprofessional. I get that dealing with the public is difficult at times, but the rudeness, disorganization, and lack of professionalism is uncalled for. The texting system regarding refills is wrong more than it's right. Meaning, when you receive the text that something is ready for pick up, and you get there - it's really not ready. That's very frustrating. I work in healthcare, and believe I can recognize burnout when I see it, and have always been polite. However, this is no longer acceptable.
