I don’t usually leave reviews on anything unless it’s something amazing!!!!! I would like to say this PETCO and their employees are the best ever! Shout out to Cory for helping me out with finding a kitten to adopt! And close to closing time. I had gone to many petsmarts and Petco but this customer service stands out as top notch. Quick and easy process. And friendly faces. It’s a little far from me but I will not hesitate to change to this location for all of my pet needs.

I sat at the register for a good five minutes waiting for someone to check me out. I’ll be kept hearing on the intercom from some guy that they were closing shortly, but no one was at the register. Rodrick finally came up and had an attitude with us because we were getting a dog tag made and then locked us inside the store and had to open up the door for us before it was even 8 o’clock.Very unprofessional and rude there was also multiple customers in the store and I said something to the other girl working Customers and sad Anything because apparently it’s her boss.

Super customer service. As soon as we got in somebody ask us if they could help us with anything and said don't bother to ask one of us If you decide you need help and then they left us alone and let us browse. I mean that in a good way. I like it when customer service is helpful not looking over your shoulder not trying to help you decide if you don't want help and go back to doing their job but we'll stop what they're doing to come help you.

1 star for selection of cat goods; but I was HORRIFIED that they had chicks. They’re sitting there because they’re almost double the price of the local feed store and since they’re not being sold, literally almost 100 in 2 tanks, every single one I saw is not far from death with how insanely horrible their pasty butt is. I know pet stores do this with animals - everyone knows this. But to see so many babies at once that are just doomed broke my heart. After looking at the chicks, we checked out with our litter box, and left. Makes me hearing my rooster this morning a little less annoying and I’m so grateful for every hen I have and the life they’re living.Do better Petco. You’re considered a rural store but the only difference from the Petco in Sanford is that you have horse/goat/chicken feed that’s more expensive that TSC and dying chicks by the hundreds.For anyone who does not know - pasty butt is when a chicks butt gets so caked with excrement that they cannot excrete and die of literally filling themselves and internal infection. Talk about a slow cruel death. I wouldn’t pray this on any creature.

Rodrick and Corey were freakin awesome, i seriously have never met friendlier employees than these two at any pet store period, they bent over backwards for us and although we had several different requests they fulfilled them all. They were very patient and knowledgeable, we will definitely be back solely because of these two employees

Well this is the third time buying fish that they all died. Half died before we made the 5 miles home. Will never buy fish from there again. Returned the first time and they died before we got home too. Crazy thing most of the fish in the tanks were dead. Little kids were talking about it.

Update; ALL of my chicks died. Called and said no returns, don’t even care to make things right. Sad.I spent well over $100 on chicks here and almost all of them died. I’ve raised chicks for many years and I’m pretty experienced on how to raise them. Most of them had pasty Butt and i should have known better but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Save your money and go to tractor supply. Do better petco.

Clean, friendly staff, animals seem well cared for in the store until they're sold so that's a big plus...but prices are still higher than local competition(which isn't much, but considering tractor supply is their biggest competitor, AND they're owned by tractor supply...it doesn't leave you much room to shop around for better prices) all in all its a decent spot to shop and take the kids to get out the house and give the adoption animals some company and love while they're waiting to find a home.

Every pet they have, accommodations r presenting/on a nearby aisle. Associates can, if not, they'll attempt toon hand provide the information, as well as instructions & give instructions concerning everything b4 sale, during, even sold.

The employee deanna was very nice and kind to me and let me hold the ferrets for a while, she also told me about them and some of the other animals. The store is very clean and organized and all the animals were fed and had plenty water and clean cages and they looked happy.

Store was neat, but we were in the store for at least 20 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us...so we decided to go to Walmart to get what we needed for our cats. A simple hi, or hello goes a very long way...especially if you spend some time in the store...Do Better!!!

Store doesn’t offer online grooming like other Petco stores. Your only choice is to leave a voicemail and they are then SLOW to respond. When you get someone they tell you they don’t have any availability for over a week. Bad experience. Avoid.

I usually shy away from places like this because of the prices being just extremely high. I was pleasantly suprised when I went in the prices on most stuff is extremely competitive to what u see online and it is all good quality stuff. if u see the same bed on Amazon for 3$ less it isn't worth the savings, when u can go in and feel the material and the actual size, I will be visiting here for all my pet needs from here forward, staff was great store was very neat and well thought out I loved their selection of dog jackets and costumes

The store was wonderful, very clean and well stocked. However, the employees were not friendly at all. Employees at the lizards and kittens wouldn’t move for us to see the animals. They acted bothered by us shopping. My kids wanted to leave and go to Petsense.

the staff make sure to take excellent care of their animals :). i have a lot of fishy friends and they always are stocked with everything I need to maintain my fish tanks and aquascape. only downside is that they don’t have baby bettas right now and they’re sooooo adorable . the staff also will convince people who know nothing about fishkeeping to get all of the necessary things for a tank which is awesome and it’s good to see people also care for these little guys! thank you for dealing with me in and out of the store!
