Would like to say Jon was extremely helpful as I wanted to have pictures printed and he gave me some options from using the photo machine with my phone, to setting up an account on the app. While I typically do not print pictures, he not only helped but made it extremely easy and was able to get all pictures printed very quickly (maybe 10 min). So thank you for the assistance and help Jon.

The cleanest Walgreens I've ever been in. Everything was pristine and organized. The lady who checked us out was so nice, older lady.

Never had a good experience with this store in the last year. Their website claims shipping services but that is a lie- they can only take pre printed/labeled items… & don’t even get me started on their pharmacy… I’ve had the same insurance for 15+ years. Filled numerous rxs through Walgreens yet they couldn’t find my info 🧐 Then when I tried to transfer to another pharmacy, they refused and then my prescription was just floating around in cyber space. Walgreens claimed it was canceled so I’d need another 🧐 No it’s not canceled. You refused to transfer it and then canceled on your own end! No apologies. No offers of help. Luckily Target was nice and made a call and got me what I needed within an hour. Weird.

Absolutely awful experience from the pharmacy. Switched everything to CVS. Will never step in this store again.

Worst pharmacy. Worst staff. Messes up meds. Refuses to give doctor order meds to prevent convulsive seizures. Would rather someone be in a hospital or die. Doesn’t now keep life saving meds at warehouse!?! Ok sounds like they are starting the communist movement. Ok with giving you deadly vax but not life saving meds. I so hope they go out of business. Most rude non helpful and non caring people. I will make double sure my doc never sends meds here again. To the rude pharmacist…… I hope you know struggling especially in health. I guess I can only hope you got that MNRA jab. Because of you, I ended up seizing and having to go to the hospital thank you. All you had to do was give me my meds instead of arguing. It’s pretty sad that Americans all over are dying from illegal fentanyl but you won’t give me a medication that my doctor prescribed I can go get Fentanyl and kill myself but I guess I don’t have to do that because you’re certainly helping me die without giving me my medicine.

This visit was by far the best I've had in a while. Stock levels on many items are still not great. Prices have inched up on many items. The pharmacy has really been struggling with good customer service. Today was the total opposite, but I do not have high hopes for it staying that way

Pharmacy is arrogant and not customer service oriented.

Wait times have significantly increased since rite aid closed. Doesn’t matter if you go inside or in the drive thru, you’ll be waiting for a while. Prescription fill times are unacceptable. Nobody should be waiting more than an hour to have someone take out a bottle and put pills in it. The staff seem very overwhelmed and stressed, high stress makes for the perfect environment for making mistakes.

We've used the pharmacy at Walgreens Denver for all our OTC and Rx needs for the past 4+ years. However, in the last few months, their service has rapidly declined. Not only does the pharmacist himself ask personal medical questions in front of staff and other customers, but the staff only give Y/N answers to your questions. They offer no assistance. If you're able, switch your business to Walgreens in Lincolnton. They have gone above and beyond to resolve the issue that Walgreens Denver had no interest in. Walgreens Denver has permanently lost our business. (The two stars are for the rest of the store and employees.)

This review is for the pharmacy specifically, as I avoid going to this store otherwise due to the consistently terrible service provided by the pharmacy department. I transferred to this Walgreens after the Rite Aid across the street closed, which is where I had been filling my prescription for the year prior. I had issues with Walgreens immediately upon transferring. Even though I never had insurance issues prior, suddenly I was receiving bills from my insurance saying that things were processed incorrectly on the pharmacy’s end. It took speaking with multiple supervisors over a span of several weeks in order to get this resolved. The first three times I went to pick up my prescription (three months in a row) I was told that there was nothing ready for me because they never updated my address, despite the fact that I had given them my new address each time I had been there up until that point. Mind you, every time I have called to try to resolve one of these issues I have been placed on hold for AT LEAST 15 minutes and several times I’ve been hung up on after holding for that long, just to start over again. I realized they were probably inundated with new clients after Rite Aid closed and told myself to be patient time after time. Fast forward and I’ve been using this location for nearly a year and nothing has changed. In fact, I am writing this review as I sit (in park) in the drive through pick up line. It doesn’t matter the day or time, you better have time to waste because you’ll be here a while. Going inside I’ve never spent less than 15 minutes in line and using the drive through it averages 25-35 and that’s no exaggeration. Today I got in line at 4:45 and it is currently 5:17. I would use a different pharmacy but Walgreens is the only one that fills my prescription for free. Thankfully I only have to go once a month. Each time I am there it’s obvious that they are shortstaffed and the employees are stressed and unable to keep up with the amount of customers they have. That’s nothing against them, but management should really consider hiring additional staff.

Not only is the service bad at the store, but the company as a whole is pretty awful. But let me talk about the store.First experience... several prescriptions come up the wrong price after converting from Rite Aid. Was told that my "coupons" were “lost” in the transition, and that I would have to contact the RX company, to see if any more were available. In other words, they lost my records and in turn I may lose the ability to fill my diabetes medication. Luckily, the RX company still had coupons. Keep in mind this took in total 1 hour on the phone, 45 min just holding for Walgreens to pick up.The first time I came in to get a prescription, I did so because I got a phone call letting me know it was ready. Great. Came in the store, and around 15 people were in line. After 30-40 minutes of waiting, I got to the counter and was told that not only was my script not ready, it hadn’t even been started. 30 min later, I was paged In the store, and had to get BACK in line behind 15 MORE people. When I finally had my single script, I had spent 2 entire hours in this store, from 5-7:00.The experiences listed above are just the beginning. I hope that if you are a Walgreens customer in this store, that you NEVER have to speak to an actual pharmacist. I will explain what to expect if you do. First, you’ll need to plan on spending a major portion of your day for the (multiple calls) so schedule for it…Ironically, the only thing you can do on their phone system that absolutely guarantees you won’t get a pharmacist on the line is to ask for “Pharmacy.” If you ask for “Pharmacy,” you don’t get the pharmacy. You get connected to a call center. The wait can (and has) been over 45 min. My last attempt, at 51 min of holding, the call got disconnected. After trial and error, I found that you can get a real person on the line by saying that you need help with “something else.” A real person will finally pick up, but it will be a front line employee, not the pharmacy. Don’t ask to be transferred to the pharmacy. If you do, it will either ring continuously (I have up after 12 min), or it will disconnect. After some investigation, I learned from one of the employees that it just “doesn’t work.” Just “DOESN’T WORK?!” I finally got a pharmacist after telling them to page the pharmacy (my idea). 1 hour, 25 minutes and 7-8 phone calls later, I got a pharmacist. All I needed was a simple refill. Finally, one last observation. 1 week ago, I asked for a refill on a med. Was told it was out and they would contact the Dr. Last night, still not ready. Asked them to contact Dr. again. Today, still not there. I called the Dr. myself to understand the issue and found out why it wasn’t ready: the pharmacy had never requested the refill. The fact is, this store does not have the capacity to serve the number of customers that were forced onto it. Before Rite Aid closed, you had 2 pharmacies, both very busy serving different customers and right across the street from another. When Rite Aid closed, 2 entire stores worth of customers were forced into one woefully inadequate store. They do not have the ability or competence to provide even reasonable service.Lastly, I have contacted corporate about this situation about 2 weeks ago. I never heard back.

Excellent store and customer service. The pharmacy is fast and the people in the pharmacy really want your business. They make sure that you understand your medicine and how to use it. They also let me know there was an allergy risk that the doctor didn't catch. They contacted my doctor and fixed the issue for me. I really appreciate the way they make sure things are right.

Every single time they call with my refill being ready, I show up to be told I do not have a prescription here and I need to contact my provider. After a few minutes of arguing they discover that I do have a prescription on file. I am not sure how this location is open or allowed to handle medication. I would recommend double checking anything you pick up there and finding somewhere else.

If you need reliability, personal respect and clear communication in your pharmaceutical needs DO NOT use Walgreens Denver location. The pharmacy staff is horrible!!! They have let go of all the reliable staff from Rite Aid and replaced them with unreliable uncommunicative and uncaring people. I am terribly disappointed, its quite unfortunate.

I went there today and had some issues with my wc and coupons not showing the cashier called the manager over to help her out. I didn’t get her name, but she was so pleasant and helpful. As I explained to her it was kind of my first time trying to use wc and coupons. She game a number and I called and the issues were solved! Great customer service!

Pharmacy constantly mis-fills prescriptions, fails to provide helpful advice, refuses call to preauthorize prescriptions and doesn't consistently offer flavoring for toddler medications unless asked. Often times the provided syringes/plunger do not fit the prescription container at all either. I've also had a few issues with store employees (non-pharmacy) over the past two years as well, mainly a *very* slow check out process.

I have been a customer of this pharmacy in Denver, NC, since the Rite Aid closed. Almost every time I either go inside or go through their drive thru, there's a wait. A few days ago, I sat in the drive thru for 20 LONG minutes for 1 prescription. Finally pulled up to the window & was told that my prescription (that was called in early that morning) wasn't filled due to them running out of it. It would've been really nice if they would've called me or even texted me, but no, nothing! Then like that wasn't unprofessional enough, I was told by the pharmacist that I could go to a different Walgreens & get my prescription there. Well, it isn't MY job to travel to Lincolnton or Charlotte in order to get something that I have filled every single month! Obviously if that's a popular birth control pill (Velivet), then your company should do the smart thing & order more each time! Period. If I owned Walgreens, I would train them to do things like this & treat my customers like customers & not just a number in line! Walgreens Corporate, you need to hire more pharmacy techs &/or pharmacists at this location. It's been ridiculous, but is getting worse.

I always have a good experience with them. Drive thru is pretty fast most days, and going inside they are extremely well organized, decently stocked and clean. Also never had any issues with staff.

This is my favorite Walgreens to visit. Staff are friendly and helpful in the front and the pharmacy, they're a little stretched thin from the pandemic like every business is right now but they've done their best to handle it! I will continue to shop here as long as I'm near by!!

Horrible experience here! Unprofessional and unwilling to help get a prescription filled. Told me to call another location and that they couldn't do anything more to help. We were told false information and I remained very sick for the whole day. Will NEVER use this pharmacy again!

Went to pick up a prescription, was told it wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes. Drove home, went back hour and a half later, waited in drive-thru for 20 minutes, got to the window and they told me it wouldn’t be ready for another 20 minutes. All they had to do is slap a sticker on an albuterol inhaler.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! They are disorganized and under staffed. Long wait lines inside and especially for drive thru. Gave me a partial prescription and couldn't find another one after I went there 4 times.

If you want to be completely ignored this is the place to go. When you make a request to this pharmacy you may as well talk to your dog, at least he wags his tail. Three times I requested a change in my prescription, they never called or emailed the doctor. I checked.

Never had a bad experience here. The staff is always upbeat, helpful and accommodating which is saying something given where they work in the midst of a pandemic.
